I've lost over 11st to illness, finally fancied something to eat finally and went to what was the best chippy to get my old favourite ,but came in a very old bun, chicken on it was hard and chewy,all in the bin,

Visited the area and came across this gem! 5* food hygiene, friendly staff, amazing fresh food. I really enjoyed the chips and curry sauce. The kids loved the Scollaps 😊

What a Jewel of the north this is, Traditional chippy chips, Traditional quality fish and owners who are beyond lovely!

Place looks brand new, it's so clean

Pretty dear 2.20 p a tiny tray of chips about 20 chips if that plus they where REHEATED and 50 / 50 warm or cold ish , they where quite thick and MIGHT have tasted ok if they where cooked fresh , top price equals about 3 out 10 for value

Our favourite chippy in Preston

It's our local chippy and while it is on the expensive side I would rather have a chippy that serves good portions and good food that's worth it and Mister Eaters certainly does! Fish is always huge and the chips are perfection! Mushy peas can be hit or miss but it's personal taste.

Went in for the first time today I drive past every day I got steak pudding chips and gravy £6.70 the pudding was mush not good and gravy was as thick as custard won't be back ..... chipy near me £2.99 more than half the price

The chips weren't freshly cooked, so I ended up throwing half of them.... It's a shame, it's usually ok.

Great chippy never had a problem, I've not been going here long because i was going to another that was a chippy for 60 years but now retired so Mister Eaters as been my go to chippy and as i said never had a problem its really nice and in fact i'll be going in about 15 minutes. High recommended if you live in the area or passing by.

Most expensive chippy I've ever been in. I would expect much bigger portion sizes for the price, and there really isn't anything at all that makes this chippy stand out enough to warrant the prices. Reviews saying this is the best chippy around must mean that the other chippy's are garbage rather than this being epic.

Family run business, wicked ideas of food and really good quality. Isn't just a chippy dose absorbs of grub from chicken curry to chilli con carnie and what ever marvellous ideas he has.

The Best Fish & Chip Shop anywhere in Preston, South Ribble area by far. I would even say it could be the definitely Top 3 in the North West. I have been a many Fish & Chips shops and always left feeling guilty for spending so much money on poor or average food. Not here and Mr Eaters, every penny is worth it, golden battered cod/haddock, even Haggis... they will deep fry virtually anything for you and it will come out the other side 5 stars. Hands down to this couple who have kept the excellent standards of a British Fish & Chip shop, I can guarantee you'll not leave here disappointed and you will definitely be going back for more!!

Best Chippy in Preston by a country mile. Not the cheapest but definitely the best.

Great quality chippy but a little expensive. They have a large menu choice catering for most people's tastes. The staff are friendly and the place was very clean.

After riding my motorbike all day I needed some food what better than a good chippy and this is a good un I got fish and scollops delish but there was something extra the service very polite with a smile and when I went they said thank you to me, a rare find these days

Went in Mr Eater for 2 haddock, one with chips a four potato scollops. Amazing! The fish must have been 8-10oz Great price when you think of the price of fish these days too. They also do haggis supper! As a Scotsman reminded me of the Scottish chippies. All he would have to do is get a recipe for white pudding or do red pudding, mock chops or chipsteaks and my life would be complete and I wouldn't have to pig out in Scottish chippies when I go north. White pudding is simple to make but if not in a skin can be tricky to do in batter. Oatmeal, onion, allspice and seasoning (veggie/vegan also). Can get a recipe on line easily. Hard to get real oatmeal though.

Always fresh and the staff are really friendly, they have a vast menu to which they are constantly adding new items.

Fantastic chippy. Has always maintained its quality. If it can be battered you'll find in on the menu. If not they will give it a try. Randomly last visit I got a free pack of Hobnobs. Odd but made me smile. Battered Haggis is amazing. So went again on Sat , great chips and service e and got free mince pies. Got to be the best chippy ever.

Fantastic place. They will deep fry anything for you as per our lunchtime experiment today. Will need to try the fish n chips next time.

It's alright, fish is too expensive on its own at £4.50 and it seemed very greasy. Also took like 15 minutes just to cook a fish whilst they all stood there talking so I'd advise calling up first.

Fab chippy. Been going here for years and now know John and his wife. Food is always Fab. Traditional Chippy but also does some other stuff.

Went to this chippy for the first time ever yesterday got fish and chips to share with my hubby and 18 month old baby boy was fine but we were all up that night with very bad stomach pains and the runs all night even the baby had runs and stomach pains must have been the fish my eldest had sausage chips and gravy he was fine so had to have been the fish maybe not cooked properly

Over priced .... Second visit and this time the chips tasted like yesterday's tea reheated, will not be going again, charge a fortune yet produce possibly the worst chips I have had in a long while

Got a cheese burger and chips grate chippy not many around that the food taste so good definitely going again the staff are nice the food is grate and the service is 5 stars
