A superb choice of hot and cold sandwiches and other foods, with a good selection of breads...types and sizes. Spotless shop, and friendly staff.

I'm always just so shocked and the bill total when I order from the Butty Shop, the food is average. Never get brekfast anymore - bacon always very salty, and charged for sauce, just annoys me I'm sure it's about 5p for sauce. Once asked for scrambled eggs on there own and was quoted £2.50, we used to put in a large order for work but stopped it and started driving to McDonalds! Staff are lovely though I must say, just really need to reconsider the prices!

Good quality food ie pies sandwiches and cakes, very clean and well organised always busy. A home or business delivery service is available also.

I live near this establishment and even if I didn't I'd drive there. The staff are absolutely lovely to everyone, if you're a regular or new visitor you'll be greeted with a smile and pleasant manner. Two bits of advise, they run out of stuff near closing so go earlyish, and only order a large barm if you haven't eaten in a week. They're so big you could use one as a manhole cover. The specials board is always worth a look. The best special I've had is the spicy chicken burger with hash browns, closley followed by the delicious but calorie laden black pudding and melted red leicester cheese. Breakfast or lunch you can't go wrong and if you order a large, you'll have enough left for tea as well.

The butty shop seems to be quite a village favorite among Adlington and further local towns so i couldnt wait to try it. The prices at the shop are great value and very reasonable considering the good quality and exceptional portions you receive. Its always a treat when we go there as me and my girlfriend always love the brunch trays. The choices are very vast and the staff will always customize your order to make sure your requirements are met as i can be quite fussy and would prefer my bacon and sausages well done. The warm family atmosphere always brings you back as you are always greeted with a friendly face. i definitely recommend you popping in for some lunch or breakfast as i can guarantee you wont disapointed.
