The coffee is fantastic and the cafe is very cosy as a great place to relax or get some work done!

Average to below average coffee shop. Seems family run and people are nice enough, but it felt like there was so little effort in both coffees and cakes. For the price, personally wouldn’t return or recommend. Or at least, skip the cake.

Started working in the area and visited today for a quick lunch on my way in. The gentlemen was very kind and apologetic for keeping me waiting when he hadn't at all! He appeared to be working on his own and it was fairly busy. Credit to him for a quick service despite that and for keeping a high standard. The atmosphere is lovely and the decor is current and fresh. My coffee was delicious and the eggs on toast were nicely garnished and an enjoyable light bite. Thank you 😊

I live close by for a while but today was the first time that I got a coffee there and it’s simply THE BEST. I wasn’t this but it actually made my day happier, specially because the lady that served me was very kind :) If you enjoy having a good quality coffee this is the place for you. Cannot wait to stop by to have my breakfast there.

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, delicious food, great hygiene! Had a fight with my boyfriend over the pistachio cake. Definitely try it, avoid the fighting! 😉🤣

Sono stata in questo bar con la mia famiglia per una colazione. Abbiamo assaggiato i loro buonissimi cupcake al cioccolato, i morbidissimi e squisiti brownie e un ottimo banana bread. Il personale è cordiale e gentile, ambiente molto confortevole e accogliente. Lo consiglio!!

This place is great! Service is friendly and fast and the food was tasty and very affordable!! We ordered the spinach and goat cheese omelette with smoked salmon added and a bacon, avocado and egg. Both were delicious!!

I had such a wonderful time there! The owner made me feel so at ease and relaxed while I was working. The latte was to die for and the brownie was amazing. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in Notting Hill!

I’ve been multiple time. The service and the food are absolutely marvellous. I highly recommend this to anyone who goes.

Picked this place based on google reviews and extremely disappointed. Coffees were average-good and the bagel and lox was mediocre (store bought bagel was almost stale). All the baked goods look rather old. The service staff seemed very frazzled and overwhelmed by the service and brought us the wrong orders which we had to send back twice. Other staff were friendly but the manager with the bald patch on his head was very rude and unfriendly. Someone in front of me in the line tried to joke about how we pay for everything with cards today and he outright dismissed him and asked if he’s done talking.

We absolutely love Butter Bakery. The atmosphere is so calm, the perfect place to stay all day and just eat and drink and work. The food is absolutely incredible, the drinks are somehow ever better, and Ali was amazing, so warm and welcoming. We’ll be back - I wish we could be here every day.

Popped in for a quick coffee and piece of cake - the staff was very friendly and took time to talk with us. Very strong brews, but with a nice sweet pistachio and rose cake, it was perfect. The lemon icing on top was delicious!

2 decaf coffees - beans were already ground, stored in a jar, and coffee was stale (gather not many people order decaf...) 2 bagels - little salmon, from a supermarket package, didn't taste very fresh... and cream cheese from a tub. £25.09

Great coffee, quiet and relaxing atmosphere and, most importantly, an owner who really cares about his customers and his job. My favourite place to get coffee since I moved to Notting Hill!

Ali is a fantastic person, that makes you confortable since the first minute. He made every day homemade croissant and all the bakery that u see in the window. The best almond crossant ever, and also the yogurt with fresh fruit Is very good. All the best Ali

A treasure in Notting Hill/Westbourne Park area. During my stay in London recently, I made a point of stopping in at Butter Bakery every morning for a cappuccino and breakfast. It is a calm, very pretty, and delightful bakery and restaurant. Every morning, Ali would greet me, and I felt so welcome. Before a busy day, Butter Bakery was a place of relaxation, and I miss it already. The service is superb. Can't recommend it enough! PS-The mushroom omelette is superb!

A quieter smaller spot if you want breakfast without the crowds. Very cute rustic vibes inside and your standard brunch menu items. Nice coffee, but they also offer freshly pressed juices and smoothies! Menu items aren’t particularly ‘unique’ but a very yummy, peaceful, aesthetic and enjoyable experience overall. Items are on the pricier side but this is standard for Notting Hill - so won’t find cheaper in the area! Also have a vegan cake of the day if you’re looking for a quick vegan treat!

Such a great find! This cafe has it all: delicious, homemade food, polite and kind service, and a charming atmosphere. Exactly what you would want to find in a local spot here in Notting Hill. Highly recommend the scones, homemade breads, and their omelettes and porridge. The yoghurt was also delicious. We’ll be back!

Siamo stati nel weekend scorso. Eravamo un gruppo di nove persone. Ci siamo fermati attirati dagli ottimi prodotti esposti in vetrina. L’Host è di una gentilezza estrema e il locale ordinato e molto pulito, i prodotti sono buonissimi non ci hanno deluso anzi erano al Top! Lo consigliamo vivamente , non sarete delusi.Noi torneremo sicuramente nel nostro prossimo viaggio a Londra.

Friendly stuff, looks like family owned, but food is not very good: toast with egg was small and soggy, porridge is watery and croissant is too thick. Coffee is good.

I found this little place whilst out working. If you live or your passing by pop in you won't be disappointed. All the cakes are home made and definitely worth a try. I ate in the majority if the business whilst I was there seemed to be take away. The inside of this place is quite basic but cosy. Service is prompt polite and professional. Food is served very quickly. The pricing is very competitive for this area.

Great hidden coffee shop in Notting hill with amazing service. I always feel at home and everything I try tastes delicious. This is by far my favorite little coffee shop/cafe in the neighborhood. Try their pastries and also breakfast options. I love the smoked salmon and egg breakfast and always get a latte when I’m there.

I feel so fortunate to have found this little gem while traveling. We had a delicious breakfast, pastries and coffee to start our day off. Very clean and nicely decorated. Our food was hot and served quickly. The owner (?) went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied while handling everything himself.

Really cute cafe and bakery in Notting Hill. It’s a bit out of the fuss where the shops are so it’s perfect and calm. We tried a few desserts and all of them were wonderful. The cafe is operated by a nice man, and it seems he does all by himself. He had the best espresso I tried in London. Real Italian style espresso. Total recommendations!

Siamo state a Londra per 5 giorni, alloggiando in un piccolo appartamento a Notting Hill, poco sopra questa bellissima bakery. Ci ha conquistate gia dall'esterno: molto ordinata e pulita, e con una vasta scelta in vetrina tra cornetti, torte e altre dolcezze. Una volta dentro abbiamo scoperto che la scelta era ancora piu ampia! Il menu partiva dal "semplice" pane burro e marmellata, passando per il porridge e arrivando fino alle uova strapazzate. Inutile dire che in 4 mattine abbiamo provato di tutto! La qualità è ottima, le porzioni perfette, ed è possibile chiedere diverse varianti sia nel mangiare che nel bere. L'ambiente è tranquillo e sereno, ma ciò che lo ha reso veramente unico è Ali, il proprietario. Un uomo di una gentilezza smisurata che ci ha coccolate in ogni dettaglio (dal latte di mandorla per il caffe americano, alla selezione di burro da mettere sul pane). E' stato super accogliente e professionale, ma informale. Ci ha messo a nostro agio ed è stato un piacere ritornare ogni mattina. Straconsiglio!
