Went for Leg n a wing food stall which was excellent. But the outside area at the Bull was really good n the beer also. Butty Bach mmmm.

We popped in after a long walk for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised the service was excellent 👌 & the breakfast delicious I ordered poached egg 1 slice of bacon & beans & brown toast & there was no flapping about like some places like eg ohhh that's not on the menu Really enjoyed the whole experience ☺️ & was surprised how busy it was definitely go again

A quick stop on a busy Saturday, the kitchen was about to close ( it was 5 to 9, they finish food at 9)but our order was still taken by a very accommodating, pleasant bar maid, food came out quickly but definitely didn't feel rushed, really nice home cooked food. Will definitely be back again. Staff, food & atmosphere all top notch.

My friends and I tried out the breakfast at The Bull today. Really good value for money. Top quality produce, lovely and hot. All the staff where very friendly. Made to feel very welcome, to top it all we were able to take advantage of the sunshine in the outside seating area for more drinks afterwards. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Just celebrated my husbands 50th birthday at The Bulls Head with friends and family. We ordered the Silver package from the buffet menu and it certainly didn't disappoint, honestly it was amazing! Everyone commented about the wonderful country pub setting and the outdoor courtyard. The entertainment was just perfect for the occasion and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful! Would highly recommended to anyone wishing to celebrate their special occasion!

I NEVER order a burger. Until we visited The Bulls Head, Furnace End, it sounded so good and it was very tasty! The description that enticed me was 'pulled pork, cheese, bacon' It was massive! There were two beef burgers too. Absolutely recommend.

Today 5th may we gave Sunday lunch a whirl..we dine out regular and I would say this was one of the best Sunday lunches we have had for a while..the beef was beautiful..roasties and lots of fresh vegetables and a jug of hot gravy and the price £11.50 ..I have had a worse one for double thar price!! Staff were pleasant and attentive and the chef was lovely..we will definitely be going back!!

Came in for lunch and had a Sausage and onion sandwich. Came with much more than expected and very well presented! Really lovely and had a nice smoky taste to it. Great value

We were all very impressed with the food, and service, will definitely go again for breakfast on our next bikers meet up.

My daughters scampi, chips and peas was hot and tasty and she enjoyed it. My lamb shank ,peas and mashed potatoes however were luke warm. I was expecting at least two veg for the price. It cost £16.50 and was awful. It was described as having veg but the lukewarm tinned peas were horrid. I was expecting at least two veg for the price. I ate most of the meat, too expensive to leave but left nearly all the peas. Very poor and three stars are for daughters food. We were going to have puddings but didn't bother. Very disappointed.

Great food and really nice staff. You do have to wait a bit for your food but it's worth it. The breakfast is well worth the money. The only thing is don't order the sausage. It's very hard!

Has improved vastly since it was taken over they even cook their own chips which are much better than out of the bag frozen ones.

Looking for a 'proper' pub meal , however made do with a ham & cheese toastie and it was excellent. Staff were very helpful and polite.

Had such a great breakfast in here today. In fact one of the best full English brekkys I’ve ever had. I don’t like beans but they usually contain beans, they kindly have me an extra hash brown instead. The staff were very friendly and the pub itself is lovely, my first visit here and won’t be my last.

Well I was looking forward to trying the bulls head having not visited for a number of years and after reading some recent reviews decided to take my mother and family for Sunday lunch. How disappointing, I'm not a great lover of roast dinner so chose the fish pie from the specials board. I am not sure why thet called it a fish pie as there were two very small shrimps and a lot of spinach covered with a thin layer of mash potatoes served with overcooked vegetables. The other meals were OK at best but certainly not than enjoyable. I complained about the fish pie and although they removed it from the bill it did ruin what should have been a nice meal out. The service was also very poor.

First time visit nice place friendly staff good food

Just popped in as we passed for a quick drink, but ended up having lunch. And I have to say how nice it was steak cooked perfectly & chips to die for proper home cooked. We will come back thanks

Had a lovely meal of homemade chicken & mushroom pie it was very delicious and tasty, also Jam Roly Poly & Custard was very nice. It was cold today, but it was nice & warm in the pub as they had a coal fire going. The pub is clean and cosy, will definitely be back again.

Well priced food and good selection of Hereford Ales, we will return. F & C particularly nice, with well cooked fish and homemade chips. Deserves support more than ever in these difficult times.

It's ok is it a pub or a wine bar . No one in not cheap for drink

The female owner was in refibly rude and indicated with a wave of her hand where we could sit, When asking for a vegetarian menu we were told there was a nut roast , We we're sat next to a very large party but thought we would order drinks so asked for a Coke with ice and no lemon.A come with just lemon was plonked in front of us.We left immediately and will never return.Felt sorry for the husband who seemed nice. Do not go !!

Good food, well cooked and great value. Very quiet, perhaps people haven't realised that The Bull has changed hands. We will return.

Excellent food with some great deals. Good beer.

Whilst that food is ok it could be improved with some simple basic touches. Nicely done out as a contemporary gastro pub but it lacks atmosphere thro lack of customers. Saturday night at 8 pm there were only 3 tables occupied. The brewery need to do something to bring the customers back by advertising that it's still open for business.

Sadly food not good any more and very inconsistant .we had a nice meal on a sunday evening in september kitchen closed at 9 no rush and... ( two for one menu). Same manager . But last night the last sunday in november 2018 same people running it .. kitchen now closed at 8!.. it was 7.45 . we were not notified that's it was full price menu we weren't even given a menu . All very rushed and the place was empty .We both had steak salad cant go wrong with that right ? Salad which consisted of just lettuce...i like letuce better than limp leaves ..but salad should be a little more excitng .. a tomato perhaps ..the steak seemed pre cooked and re warmed ! It came so quickly they couldn't have cooked it from Fresh.. would have definatly sent it back if we knew we were paying full price as cold and over cooked they had forgotten the sauces which when they did come at least we were able to dip the cold meat into warm it up . Made it eatable.we paid £48 !!! last time was £28 and a lot nicer very reluctant to go back again . We did have a family get together 10 of us in november ..i recomented the wexwood chicken and steak but it was disapointing but as we had droped 10 people on her with only a couple hours notice so we were forgiving and shes s a lovely lady did her best for us.. pub grub is sucsessful on reputation.. sorry i shant be going back or recomending Im local I have been going to this pub for the last 40 years I'm very sad

Food was terrible.. nothing was cooked.. fish was undercooked chips was undercooked peas was hard .. for my own safety I didn’t eat anything .. i paid with my card details over the phone because they didn’t have a card machine.. have no idea who I giving my details to .. i still can’t believe i paid !!

Would not go back or recommend to anyone . On ordering our meals we're told some meals we're not available that was ok but after about half an hour later they returned to say some of what we ordered was also not available so again had to wait longer .When we received our order one person in our group never received their meal we had to ask the rest of the group had nearly finished meals before the final meal arrived .

Lovely pub and staff but food average. Not as good as it used to be. Had guiness pie this evening and it was awful. Usually my favourite but meat was not edible. My mom enjoyed her fish though.

Standard pub food. Service wasnt great the manager acted put out that we hadn't pre ordered our food from a menu that she was supposed to email us but didn't. Made out like the pub was fully booked and she would need to rush us through. We then spent the next two hours with the entire pub to ourselves. Very odd and not welcoming. The waiting staff where fine but the manager ruined it.

Menu mainly burger based and the service wasn't up to much, but it is new owners so benefit of the doubt etc.

Seems the Bull has new Management unfortunately not good. Food was a real poor standard cheap and bulk buying at its worst. Have never seen such thinly sliced bacon which had no moisture left in it as was overcooked to a point that it was black. Sausage was cheap and nasty as for scrambled eggs looked like someone had thrown up on the meal. Anything that had to be cooked was charred and the portions were approx half the size as before except for chips plentry of these disgusting excuse for chips. All in all meal for 5 which was for 5 starters 2 x 2 for 1 meals and 1 childs meal came to nearly £68. 2 stars are for the water carafe and glasses . Such a shame as it was such a great eatery before but now my advice drive past and dont stop.

Since this has changed over the there's absolutely no customer service! The woman with the blonde hair her attitude stinks! Doesn't even try to accommodate anybody she's absolutely useless!!! Me and my family used to go here all the time but she's put me off both times I've came across her! Vile! Don't go there!

Booked for 7.30 on a Friday and it was busy . Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff . We had the 2 4 1 offer . Lamb salad which was fab as was the Wexford chicken . Lovely pepper sauce . Well worth the visit. Will definitely go back . Thanks for a great meal

We went there for the wife's 65th birthday with the family we had a fantastic meal everyone's was hot plenty on your plates , stakes cooked to perfection the mushrooms and onion rigs was not greasy like some place`s ....... most enjoyable evening out

We were very pleasantly surprised when we entered this restaurant. The style is of a 'gasto-pub'/bistro, and the decor is lovely. Service was excellent, and the waitress was very welcoming and attentive. Everything on the menu sounded delicious, but eventually my friend and I decided to share a plate of scallops for a starter, which was absolutely scrumptious, and while she had the rump steak I had the duck for main meals. Both were cooked to perfection; the duck succulent and tender and the steak just melted in your mouth. We are already thinking of excuses to come here again.

Recommend, Lovely Sunday Lunch and had a very satisfying meal in February...Crab starter and Monkfish main was top drawer

We have visited the bull several times. It has really nice decor and atmosphere. The food is very good quality. The only negative is that the menu never changes, and only one option for vegetarians (a very tasty Thai curry) which is not what you necessarily fancy when everyone else is eating hearty Sunday roasts.

Very good needs more space around the tables though bit too cramped.
