This is a great friendly village pub the beer was lovely and a big garden. The staff were happy and helpful and very friendly locals. I would recommend this place.

Bulls Head Markfield Leicester.Lovely pub very welcoming and friendly .Will definitely visit again. We have visited twice with our dogs , and landlady allowed us to park our campervan on pub carpark over night.

Cannot rate this place highly enough! If you want a locals pub in the heart of Markfield, this is your place. I've visited at all times, from quiet afternoons to busy events and the welcome is always fantastic, the beer is great and the atmosphere is brilliant. The main room is where you'll find the locals every day of the week, whether having a natter or a (very competitive) game of dominoes; there's a pool table that's always in use and live sports. The second room is cosy, quite and intimate - perfect for those wanting to avoid the rabble or have a bit of family time. The garden at the back is huge and beautifully maintained - here is a landlady who loves her roses and you can tell! Whether you're popping in with a few spare minutes or planning your weekend entertainment, well worth a visit!!

I've been here a few times and I'll definitely be returning. Great service from the bar man and a good vibe to the pub overall. Good value for money aswell.

We use the lounge room on Saturday the 9th of December for my wife late father's celebration of life (Barry Jones) Formally of Markfield. Barry passed away in Perth Australia last month so we were unable to attend the services there. So a great thanks to Ann & Jim for allowing us to use the room, a lovely area for a small to medium size gathering. We took our own buffet and music, nothing was to much trouble for them. We would recommend using this for any function.

This amazing local pub is the best in markfield. Amazing staff and service and the beer garden is beautiful. Would come again.

A wonderful village pub where I always get a warm welcome; the staff are great and very dog-friendly - and it’s always a good pint. There’s a pool table, darts board and normally a game of dominoes on the go. Also has a lovely garden with some of the best-kept roses I’ve seen.

Ann and the team are fantastic! As the Bull is our Local we are regularly in there and always greeted with a smile! Recently we went down for my Daughters 10th birthday as she’s got into playing pool, we played some games drank some cold pints and Ann even supplied us with a chocolate cake & candle! It really made my little girl a happy bunny!

When we asked our grand daughter what she would like to do for her birthday she replied "go to the bull to play pool" so thats what we did, a lovely warm welcome from the landlady, a clean, tidy, welcoming place to relax, play pool or darts and watch sports or music on the tv. We will be back

What a superb country pub. Great food, friendly staff, lovley atmosphere would definitely visit again. Its been a while since we ventured out as a family but this pub accomadates all.

Now my local, everyone very friendly and visitors made most welcome - walkers and hikers who visit the area, should give it a try. You will come back again. Good food available Tuesday to Saturday between 12 and 2.00 Lovely garden to sit in and enjoy the weather - has gazebo for wet or hot days.

After a long walk around the area we came upon this pub and decided to grab some drinks and snacks. Very friendly staff and with a lovely beer garden outside. Very reasonably priced for the soft drinks and crisps we had.

Only second ever visit . Very much a local but well worth a visit. The Pedigree beer is the best I’ve had for years .

Well, we got a flier saying that the bull has an Italian chef and does a very limited menu of pasta and pizza. We thought we would give it a try... the pizzas are very good, stone baked hand stretched and THIN!!! Like they should be. The garlic pizza bread is the best I’ve ever had and the lounge is where I’d recommend you eat. Nice cozy decor. Very small, really really nice. They do takeaway also. Not quite Johnny pizza, but very very good. Going back very soon.

Christmas Day! Excellent. Great atmosphere. Great beer. Nice and clean. Great contrast to the other Marstons pub at the other end of the village.

Needed to stop and chill for a while on a journey so called in for just a drink late afternoon... Friendly and pleasant with a lounge and bar area and a small garden. Had a very genuine vibe.
