The Bull's Head in Birmingham

Entró a tomar una copa de Navidad después del trabajo en diciembre, pagó el estacionamiento, pero perdió la noción del tiempo ligeramente mientras charlaba. Terminó recibiendo una multa de 60 libras por quedarse más tiempo en el aparcamiento. Comprendo perfectamente que es mi error, pero castigar a sus clientes con multas de estacionamiento por permanecer demasiado tiempo en su propio establecimiento parece una extraña manera de hacer negocios a mis ojos. No volverá.

Contratamos la sala de actos de arriba para el cumpleaños de 1 calle de nuestro hijo y tuvimos un gran día. Teníamos un castillo hinchable en el interior, conectado a los altavoces y pudimos usar sus luces de discoteca sobre la pista de baile. Es un espacio muy agradable y tuvimos un montón de huéspedes elogiando y haciendo consultas sobre la habitación. Puede traer su propia comida o utilizar el catering Bulls Head. Reservar fue muy fácil y servicial para mostrarle la habitación de antemano. ¡Gracias!

¡El personal y la dirección deberían estar orgullosos de sí mismos por organizar una gran fiesta de Año Nuevo! La noche fue genial con un cantante en vivo actuando, así como un dj. Todo el personal, incluida la dirección, era encantador! ¡Es un edificio tan grande pero necesita algo de redecoración!

Bien hecho a todo el personal y equipo directivo. Gran ambiente en toda la Eurocopa. Muchas risas con amigos y familiares. Genial ver un buen pub local todavía apoyando a los lugareños. El domingo fue una buena manera de acabar con los euros bien hechos a todo el personal increíble que nos ha atendido lo más rápido que han podido a lo largo de los euros 😘 xxx

We hired the function room for a funeral wake for a family member. The management and team made the process easy. The gold buffet menu food was excellent not only in quality but quantity as well. We received numerous compliments. They also catered for allergies without any fuss. The team were delightful and very efficient and nothing was too much trouble. We highly recommend The Bulls Head.

Haven't been in a long time, things have really improved under the new managers, So nice to have friendly & polite managers! Pub is clean, beer tastes better & food was on! Bar staff were friendly & the atmosphere has dramatically improved. Looking forward to coming back again & trying food now the kitchen is open again.

What a lovely place, staff and food was top notch! I had the gammon which was incredible, best gammon I've had for a long time. Fiancé had the ultimate chicken burger which was also nice. Lovely to escape the hustle and bustle of town etc. We will definitely be back again. X

The New Management are doing a great job to provide entertainment as much as possible. I can not remember the last time I seen the pub as busy on a weekend as what it was Friday and Sunday for the Bank Holiday. Management friendly and approachable. Staff are very friendly and serve u as quick as they can. Lovely to see staff enjoying there job and interacting with the customers. Great atmosphere plenty of laughs with friends and family

Now under new management. Thought we would visit for lunch and was very impressed with both the service and the friendliness of everyone. Lovely atmosphere. Good value for money and lots of choices. Easy to park too. Will definitely recommend this venue to others!

The staircase in the centre of pub is worth the visit on its own, it’s a proper hark back to peaky blinders etc. Great pub, enjoyed the visit. Played some pool. Will come back.

Came to watch the football at the weekend, has great screen and the sound was great. Got a busy bar at the front with all the screens for the football and a pool table, then a quieter bar at the back.

Great lunch served quickly, food was good value, and nice to have live sport in a nice surrounding. Shows Sky, BT Sport and has a nice outside terrace at the back with screens and seating.

This is the saddest story, as far as commercial responsibility goes , you have currently one of the worst managers I have ever come across in the pub game , attempting to destroy the business in his last few days for the new owners, they take over shortly when you see arrogance and disrespect on this level clearly trying to shaft the very people that have supported him for the last few years says a lot about Paul the current manager as a person , the new owners will bring a lease of life to the place and I think as a long standing customer I speak for many in saying that , the personal vendetta this shocking manager has waged against people will shortly end , and look I forward to a new vibrant set of management that will turn this great venue to what it should be , good news for all this transition should happen within two weeks , good luck to the new owners James Cartwright

I always feel welcome in this pub. The warm glow from the open fire was especially welcome. The seating is cosy and the meal I had was delicious and good value. The staff are lovely and always make an effort to help and advice. They are fabulous. The rose wine was also very good and presented in a nice way. The only complaint is the toilets are upstairs. I struggle abit to get up. There may have been a disabled toilet downstairs.

I went here with my girlfriend on a quiet Thursday evening. The pub looks cosy and inviting after its refurbishment, and there is a solid choice of beers - the usual Guinness, lager, etc and also a couple of ales. The beer was decent and not too pricey for Brum. However, what let the place down was the bar staff. Neither said a word to us during the whole time we were being served. Pubs need friendly staff and it makes a whole world of difference if the staff engage with customers even a little bit. It's a small criticism but one that can be easily fixed. Overall, a nice place to have a quiet drink in Kings Norton.

The room we hired was ideal for family and friends to gather after our Mothers funeral. It was a private room on the on the ground floor, so no stairs to climb for those of us who may have had difficulty with them, it was warm and comfortable too. The staff attended to our every need with a pleasant manner, and the buffet was fresh and varied. The room gave a lovely atmosphere for us mourners to chat, catch up and reminisce together.

Used this place for 48 years this is probably the most unwelcoming manager I have known now use village inn (Toby Carvery). I used to go in every day (7 days) never had an hello from him or any acknowledgement.

went in today for my birthday with my wife, nan and mother inlaw. a slight long wait for food but well worth it. we went on a lunch time so its was abit silent. but friendly staff and locals. well worth a visit. plus it contains original features intact. like the toilets a bit ran down but ok. tiles are very original to. if you are into that sort of thing

6 de nosotros comimos aquí de comida antes de las navidades. Pub era muy ruidoso, pero James el gerente nos cambiaron a una habitación trasera y no podía haber hecho más por nosotros. Él, personalmente, se hizo cargo del servicio y nos mantuvo equipada con todas las bebidas de la noche. El pub en sí es bastante fuerte y en ocasiones bastante tosco, pero por el servicio y la actitud amable y servicial james volveré, quizás en una tranquila noche!

went into the bull today for for never had a problem before but today i found a piece of metal in my food it was a ring shaped i paid money for a meal that i couldnt eat cause of this put me off im horrified as this could of been in a kids meal i have never had this problem before i went in there after work i think i will stick with just drinking here

Un lugar precioso... ha sido vuelve en sólo un poco más de un año ahora... el servicio puede variar dependiendo de quién esté en el bar, pero en general siempre es una buena noche.

Popped in for the Germany v France final. Place was buzzing. James the manager served us. Both had the mega burgers. Fantastic! This is our new favourite pub. So friendly and fun

Sizzling steak and super friendly team. Met a business colleague for a pint and catch up. Saw and smelt the sizzling steak skillets and both ordered one. OMG steaks are amazing. Jamie Oliver eat your heart out. Two pints and two fab steaks for under £20. That is jus the best value ever. Team were dead friendly and helpful. You just won another happy regular

This is a lovely pub in a nice little village. The decor is really cosy and modern. The waiting staff were welcoming and polite. The food is amazing, some really great items on the menu particularly the sea bass. Would definitely recommend for a lovely meal out.

Popped in the Bull a few days ago for dinner. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, however the first meal i chose they said they couldnt do as they had no lamb so i ordered a full rack of ribs with chips and salad. Food was very ordinary and portions very small. It wasnt cheap either and i left hungry and went to the chinese takeaway

The new landlord has made a real difference to this famous old pup, it is now a decent place to get a drink and enjoy some good pub food, reasonably priced and usually a nice crowd.

had a couple of lunches here in December. All large sized and ok quality. Just pub grub, staff friendly and place is clean. Pub is much better than it used to be
