OK but Basic. Probably the location not the best. If you want a meal local, the Bull is the only place. Meals ok but Wine not so. Staff very helpful and lady serving at breakfast on her own and very busy but very efficient too!

We walked in an immediately noticed everyone speaking in Welsh which was intriguing. Ordered a late lunch at about 2pm, as they serve food from 12 to 3pm. Friendly and helpful staff. Average selection of beers. Had at least 2 TV screens for sports fans, especially as Wales were playing an international game of rugby. Good sized portions of food. Staff came over and asked if our meal was okay. Well situated right in the centre of town.

Welcoming staff who work really hard to make your stay a happy one. Food in the restaurant was fine and breakfast was lovely. Would happily stay again when on our travels in Wales.

After a late check in at nearly 8pm. We were told that the kitchen was shut but we could get a takeaway and eat it with drink in the hotel bar and both my girlfriend and I couldn't fault this. Due to a staff shortage in the kitchen we were advised to go to the cafe over the road for breakfast. We cannot fault the service and level of customer care we received was of a very high standard. All in all a very happy and comfortable stay here . We would come back again.

Dirty, dated and cold showers. We couldn’t wait to leave. The hotel is so grubby, really dirty and our shower was cold. They came up to have a look at check out and said the cold was hot and the hot was cold. That’s dangerous and if it’s oposite should have a sign so you can use the shower. The beds were grubby and the room smelt of sick.

We had 6 meals, 2 children's and 4 adults. The RIB eye was very nice, and the chips were good. The sea food linguine was stale and tasteless. The child's burger was like salty plastic, the adults chicken fillet burger was rubber. The chicken curry was dish water. We got charged £92 for the privilege.

Friendly welcome even though we arrived without a reservation! On the pub side, the atmosphere was typical and the food was very good. On the hotel side, we had a room for people in wheelchairs. The bathroom was therefore not suitable for us. The bed was comfortable despite the dated room. Given the style of the room in a small non-tourist village, the price of £116 seemed too high to us, especially out of season.

Stayed here for 1 night while working there. It is an old building so expect a bit of wear and tear. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the chef cooks a banging steak 👌🏽

We just popped in for a rest whilst driving in the rain. The hot chocolate hit the spot, especially by the open fire. It was a jovial atmosphere mixed with locals and visitors.

Stayed here for 3 nights in early December 2023. The hotel has recently changed ownership and the new owners and staff are doing their utmost to improve on the reviews under the previous owners. Refurbishment is continuing with a new carpet being fitted in the reception and stairs during the stay. I look forward to seeing how this has progressed later this year. The current manageress is exemplary in hospitality and looked after our every need. The hotel pub has a fabulous atmosphere with a lovely open fire and the evening menu is good and great value. I would definitely stay here again and plan to do so on my next trip in December 2024. it’s so central giving easy access to the town.

We stayed there for 3 nights and I must say we were really positively surprised :) the Lady at the reception was so friendly, helpful and so easy to talk to 😊 absolutely amazing :) Room was bigger then expected and really clean. Beds were comfortable to sleep on. Bathroom was big and clean. Kitchenette was loaded with all of the necessary products: plates, pans, glasses, tea, coffee, sugar etc. And perfect location to explore the whole Anglesey :) Thank You :)

Went out for breakfast as a group of 5. Firstly I will say it’s very cheaply priced. £10 for a full breakfast and chips including tea or coffee so normally I would chalk it up to you get what you pay for but it really would be better to charge a couple of quid more or knock off the chips to be able to offer a better standard. Very small, incredibly cheap sausage (it made ASDA smart priced sausages seem gourmet) a scraggy bit of bacon more fat than meat, a small spoon full of beans served in plastic pots. I ordered with no tomato but got no fried bread or black pudding. Another of our party asked for no black pudding and got no toast, another ordered full breakfast and got no hash browns so whoever was in the kitchen was pretty hopeless (we were the only ones in eating so it wasn’t busy) Like I said it’s very cheap in price but next time I’ll opt for going elsewhere even if I have to pay a little bit extra.

Awful experience. Ordered via Foodhub and driver claimed he couldn't find where we were staying- despite a postcode, YouTube video showing location and instructions! Proper nonsense.

An excellent experience. My partner and I popped in after exploring the local town, there was a great choice of drinks, and a lovely atmosphere inside. Food looked delicious as it was presented beautifully, and tasted even better. I had the George & Dragon burger, and it was the best burger I have ever had. Not only was the food amazing but so we're the staff, very friendly and welcoming, at the end of the meal I forgot my phone, and they were kind enough to chase me down to ensure it was returned. I would definitely recommend.

Nice cafe and patisserie. Lots off lovely cakes, including gluten free options (the lemon meringue pie was delicious). Some seating has views out to the Menai Strait and Snowdonia.
