Tredici in Isle of Anglesey

A disappointing and expensive experience. Our starters (calamari and garlic bread with cheese) were mediocre at best, they looked and tasted like they'd come from a supermarket. After our starters, we waited around half an hour for the waiting staff, who then asked us if we'd like to see the dessert menu. When we mentioned that we hadn't had our main courses yet, she looked shocked, walked away and reappeared two minutes later with our main courses, which were visibly burnt (see photo). I didn't want to make a fuss, as I had taken my girlfriend out for dinner and our time together is very limited due to our jobs and distance, so we tolerated as much of it as we could. The waiting staff seemed pressured as there were quite a few customers and only one or two of them. When I went to pay the bill, I was very surprised at how expensive (£70+) it was for 2 soft drinks, 2 wines, 2 starters, 2 burnt main courses and 1 side (chips with some parmesan powder on them). Would not recommend.

Absolutely disgusting coffee, asked for a flat white, got a milky latte ?? If you have a coffee machine surely you should train people how to use it !!! If an Italian tried your grim offer hands would be thrown

Old woman on the counter was so rude, Just no customer service skills at all. Got a sausage roll for my Son, they were different shapes and sizes, so I asked for the long one as the others had too much meat in the middle, and she said you mean the bigger one as if I'm trying to get more for my money. Judgemental to say the least. Been popping in there for a couple of years when holidaying near there, but no more. There are much better places! The customers are doing you a favour, not the other way round!

This place never fails to disappoint. They're never open. I think we've managed to eat there once since they opened.

We got pies from the deli counter, the best I've had in a long time.

Despite the poor reviews we decided to give this place a go for my partners birthday. Unable to get anyone to answer the phone we decided to drive the 10 plus miles to the restaurant only to find it was closed. Very disappointing!!!! Please update google on your opening hours!!!

We never got to go there so even a one star is amazing No one answers the phone , always seems closed. Locals shrug and say we don’t know what happening. Please Tredici , half terms in the uk are different, so check because you’ve missed out on many children wanting their Italian kick X

Service— a very nice young man clearly untrained and inexperienced but sporting an authentic armarni sweater was literally the only Italian thing in the place. Lasagna: portion size too small and equivalent to a farm foods frozen read Pizza: How do you that with the base?? Pasta: portion size generous, shame about the overpowering blue cheese sauce. Atmosphere: more on the moon!! Recommend calling in Ramseys kitchen nightmares, Gordon will sort it out!!

Excellent Value lunch offer . Friendly service and great homemade soup and sandwiches . ( Both for £4.75p UK pounds )

Started off with high expectations which were very quickly dashed time froze over in the amount of time we had to wait for our first round of very expensive drinks. This then spiralled in to further disappointment with garlic bread that was on par with the texture of a cardboard box and some prawn combo that looked like vomit on a plate. After waiting a further hour when the couple who had arrived an hour after us got served before us we decided to throw in the towel especially as they said their steak literally had walked on to the plate accompanied by a peppercorn sauce that was the consistency of piss. Our advice swerve with a vengeance. Food poor, service well let’s not get started on that doozy and atmosphere - suggest you buy the Russ Abbott cd!! Chippie tea was well appreciated after this fiasco!!

Whilst having a holiday break in the lovely town of Beaumaris we decided to have a evening meal at Tredici Italian restaurant. I ordered the Calamari as my starter and it was prepared badly. Very chewy and rubbery. And my Carbonara for my main was even worse. It was sloppy, It looked like the chef had not drained the pasta properly and left the water in my carbonara. Very poor.

Lovely food and people, visited twice in 3 nights, enough said!

We purchased some local beers from the Beaumaris branch last week whilst on holiday. Unfortunately, when I got back to our campsite, I saw that they had charged us for 1 more beer than we bought. I have tried to contact them on several occasions with details of the problem but they absolutely refuse to engage with me. So I can only assume that the deception was deliberate knowing by my accent that I was not local. So beware those that wish to visit this shop, check your goods and receipt as thieves are very much present in this establishment.

We thought the food was delicious and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere, but we were very frustrated at long waits for service and absent/confused staff service. Pleasant enough when they came. They must lose a fortune as people can just not be bothered waiting so long to order a dessert. (Table of 8 next to us gave up) It was tasty btw but such a wait! 5 for food, sadly 1 for service.

I had Pepperoni pizza but was disappointed as it hardly had any pepperoni in it, was a very expensive cheese on toast! Hubby had Lasagne, hardly any meat or pasta, lots of sauce and cheese, very sloppy.

Pretty sure the man working behind the butchers counter said he was going to get a shotgun for my puppy that was crying outside. I asked him to repeat the comment about the shotgun and he replied he was talking about shooting a customer. Either way it was an awful comment to make. You should get some staff with better customer service skills.

Reservation made and reconfirmed. Turned up with 2 hungry children and it was closed!!!

Lovely, even found a nut roast in here the other day, Beaumaris is a top place for shopping..:)

Well controlled Covid-19 measures very fast service

Price is as you expect for this area but the quality of the food bought from the deli was top notch. The lamb and leek pies are gorgeous with proper meat chunks rather than minced lamb as I was expecting.

Thick undercooked almost raw pizza base with limited topping. Very disappointed

This is the best deli/butchers in the uk. Absolutely amazing choices of deli items and the butcher section is five star. Sorry I didn't take pictures but visit mother Wales (anglesey) and make a B line for this place you wont be disappointed.

Unfortunately we’re unable to comment on the food here, as the restaurant supervisor stated that he had no record of our booking - made on 28th August. Call confirmed on phone history. He blamed delicatessen staff for taking our booking and not recording it. He made no effort to accommodate us on the evening nor to offer an alternative date. His manner was unpleasant and defensive, intimating that the situation was our fault and not that of his establishment. Both my wife and I have run successfully public facing businesses and would not have survived if we had adopted this young man’s attitude.

The store Tredici Butchers and Deli has great products. The man who was selling was very nice to me, thank you sir for recommending and helping me with the eggs. The eggs there are huuuge and very tasty. I can say the same for onion, garlic..if you go there, buy their local products. You will love them.

I would say need to work on customer service. We were sat a the table then left for 20 min before drink order where taken. ( Fully appreciate places are busy but communication is key). Food was ok, lacked flovours, need to remember it basic Italian food and stick with it.

If you're looking for an authentic italian thin crust pizza with buffalo mozzarella from a woodfired oven then walk on by. Tredici offerings were thick doughy barely cooked base covered in cheap cheese, much of it went in the bin. If it had been eat in we would've sent them back. I suggest the owners go to some good pizzerias and learn some lessons on how proper Italian pizzas should be made.

Had a lovely lunch at this hidden away Italian restaurant in Beaumaris. The food was excellent. We had the Misto Frito for 2 to start which was really enough for 4! The braised lamb was gorgeous as was the pizza Orlando. Portions large so I jad to bring half the pizza home! Staff wearing masks and restaurant spacing good which was reassuring as the town itself was packed with people not adhering to Covid regulations. Heartily recommend this little restaurant.

Beautifully laid out shop with little interesting nooks and crannies, bursting with fresh and well prepared food. The stand out for me was the Lamb and Mint pie, probably the best pie I've ever eaten. And I ate all the pies. I am making this an absolute must not miss again if I am back in this part of North Wales.

We have just had a great meal at Tredici. Can't recommend this restaurant more highly .My shoulder of lamb was succulent and delicious best I've ever had.My wife said her lasagne was excellent. Service superb .Definitely worth a visit

From the 1st second I stepped in the joint...arrogant attitude, not prepared for covid 19 easing ,broken cash machine and wasn't arsed about making money from footfall ,lack of variety in deli...unless you're a pie eater. Save your money and buy a meal deal from Spar next door and be served with a smile.

Very disappointing. Would not return. Tredici’s used to be one of our favourite places to eat in Beaumaris but the past 3 visits have not been good. Previously we had a large group of our family, service was great but food very dry and overall disappointing but this last visit was the worst...We took our out of town guests for an evening meal on a Sunday. Even though only one other table was occupied when we arrived, the table we were sat at was dirty and my place setting missing my (paper) napkin. Our bottle of wine came open to the table and just left, our waitress did not ask us to taste it, nor did she pour it. Rather just left a group of mis-matched glasses in the middle of the table. Our arancini and fig starters were very nice, however, the 2 lamb shoulder mains were fatty and the steak of the day was very small and thin with unsatisfying shoe string french fries, rather than chips. The menu stated the main came with salad but our plate was not served with any. When we asked our waitress, she brought the menu to our table and stated it did not. When I later went to the ladies room, I had another look at the menu myself and it clearly stated it was to come with salad. I also tried to order a lamb shoulder but was told there were only 2 left so then I asked for the pumpkin tortellini, which was also unavailable. I ended up with the cannelloni. I really enjoyed it but later woke up in the night being quite sick. Since I had nothing else to eat I can only assume it was my dinner. To end the evening, we were not asked it if we wanted the desert menu and when we asked about it were told that the chef had gone home after serving us our mains. Tredici’s used to offer excellent food in a lovely sophisticated atmosphere with great service. Not even sure what to say now.

Poor service and disappointing food. The pesto linguine was saturated in oil and if you’re looking for pizza go to Dylan’s.

First impressions were good then it went down hill .Poor starts soup of the day was too peppery,warm figs came one warm one room temperature. Mains came which were for the wrong table. When ours came the cannelloni was over heated and the chicken filling was tough. Would not recommend this place. Date 30 August 2019

Arrived, thinking it was closed, perhaps just a hole in the wall & found a bustling, great atmosphere with absolutely WONDERFUL food. The BEST!

My wife and I arrived slightly early for a 7.30pm booking. The restaurant was moderately full but a number of empty tables. It took until 8pm to take our order. Starters which arrived were at 8.30 They were good. Very tasty. And so was my wife's pasta - unfortunately my calzone was all dough and very thin filling. Some ham but only meagre portion. Very thin sauce, where was the cheese and tomato. Spoilt an otherwise friendly and well run experience

Small upstairs dining area but staff ,service and food was very good we were lucky to go in at the opening time because it was soon full with people who had booked and people who had not and stayed that way all the time we were there

Really nice atmosphere and very pleasant waiting on staff. We had a quick simple dinner with me having a nice Margarita pizza and my wife having the vegan garlic bread with cheese, we know vegan pizzas usually have a compromise on taste but the cheese was not nice at all compared to other vegan pizzas we had. Reasonable prices but let down on the vegan offering.

Don't order the crab & Prawn Linguine, tasteless, no crab only 4 prawns in whole dish. Some food came out burnt on top, no chicken on the chicken pizza, new Manager very stressed that night, lovely lady who apologised for everything, knocked bottle of wine off bill and linguine meal. It will be lovely to see improvements next time we visit.

Great Groupon Deal, tasty food.

Would have liked to have reviewed this fully but wasn’t able to get to the food stage! Was closed Mon and Tues so waited until Weds to visit then were told there was a 30-45 mins wait for food even though it looked half full, so we left and ate elsewhere who were able to sate our appetite in a proper time. I would put anyone off as the venue looked lovely but they need to get their customer service up to scratch.

We've eaten at Tredicis quite a few times already which is always a good sign. Excellent food and very friendly staff. Recommended 👍🙏

Had a very nice meal in here. Even the starter of assorted breads was delicious! Bit small, might be a bit cramped when busy.

Good selection but way too expensive.

Our first visit experience. The restaurant looks tiny from the entrance but it is much bigger inside (upstairs). The greeting was ok and the food was ok. It was the service that let it down badly. We ordered a bottle of wine (£22) and the girl simply plonked it down on the table and said 'there you go!' We had to ask twice to get some water on the table and upon leaving, despite leaving a nice tip, no-one volunteered a goodbye. Despite there being 4 staff around the bar and exit and me saying 'thank you, goodnight'. Very poor service and so we won't be going back.

Lovely and delicious dinner on a wet bank holiday. Place is quaint and the staff is lovely. Pizzas we had were delicious and very filling.

Went in at lunch time for a very tasty sandwich.

Pleasant service, but the food was sub par. The risotto balls and figs with Parma ham and soft cheese were lovely. However, the lasagne we ordered was cold in the middle. The canneloni was tasty (the asparagus inside was perfectly cooked) although smothered in a cheese sauce. Both dishes were served with a mixed leaf salad and a few pieces of bell pepper. Considering the restaurant is connected to a deli, I thought the food would be better. I could've perhaps overlooked the minor gripes, but the lasagne being cold in the middle is unforgivable.

Nice frendly place to meet with frends

I'd like to say I'm leaving a review about the food, but that's not the case unfortunately. Me and my partner were seated and then left for 20 minutes sitting and waiting to be served. The only thing that was relatively ok was the house tap water 🙄 As we couldn't wait any longer we decided to leave and as we were doing so the waiter (who seated us) had the cheek to say, "have they just left without paying?"

Perfect for a quick lunch with good service. Pizza and a glass of wine a good deal. Attached to a proper deli.

Excellent food and staff , we highly recommend it if you are in the area ,however its upstairs so no good if you have mobility issues or a large pram.

Walked in to be faced with lots of unwashed glasses and no staff. Although on a Groupon the 2 meals we had were bland and awful. I sent my beef stew which was so tough I couldn't cut it back, to get a chicken dish that was at best ok. What a disaster plates from first course not taken away before main meals arrived!! it was at best, bad, if I'd been paying full price I would of complained more xx

The service was very slow and when we finally got our food it was very bland, some dishes were too cold or under cooked, some dishes had very small portions for the price.

Fantastic little hidden gem of a restaraunt, service is first class, Pauline are waitress could not have done more to make our meal out even better.The food is amazing & it has a fantastic choice on the menu, if your looking at dining out in Beaumaris don't hesitate in going here.
