Went for food as a family of 8. Lots of staff not overly busy considering it was 1pm on a Sunday. 3 mixed grill. 1 plate of under cooked chips, 3 plates of over cooked me at and 2 plates without onion rings and all without sausage. No refunds since we had started eating. You brought everyone’s meal at separate time. First 2 had finished before the last 3 people received their meals. 1 Sunday roast and an extra couple of Yorkies and a plate for a picky eater. No extra plate and charged for 2 Sunday roast. No paninis on the Sunday menu. No bother we’ll have lasagna. No you won’t we’ve got none. Ok I’ll have a chicken burger. Ok but something unexpected on the bun. Not on menu. Children bolly looked edible 2 year old lapped it up. Was it worth £160 ? Did I mention we had no cutlery till the last person recieved their meal. 30 mins after the first 2 had finished when we asked for some they brought it in its droves. At one point I think we had 30 folks on the table. Don’t ask about the inedible chicken or the over salted shoe leather that they were passing off as gammon. Staffs attitude- basically who give a toss. I’m not eating it

Booked table for 10 whole menu wee ordered was terrible everything warm not 1 meal came hot tables were set but tables hadn’t been cleaned , ordered sweets an only 2 was served had to go and ask where rest off sweets where Staff were nice but food was terrible , Stay away from this place , also too noisy restaurant is placed beside TVs and busy bar , better eating outside caravan park in Berwick

Ordered 2 rump steaks well done... they came brick hard. Chips have been waiting for hours as hard ..pudding came and got put down while we still had our dirty plates sitting....also 1 of the plates after eating was dirty at the bottom.. tried to complain got told no-one was there to take it .

The ultimate burger is a classic of any haven holiday food place. In recent times the menu has got significantly cheaper. 2 meals for 18 quid and u can get a kids meal for 1 pound. The burger was really nice however the coleslaw was disgusting. It tasted sloppy and lacklust in any flavour. The chips were greasy and weren't anything special. The service came late after queuing a solid 10 minutes at the bar just to order.

Kids lasagne was tiny, more like a baby portion, steak was terrible and no steak knife provided, had to wait ages for the food even though it didn’t seem busy, some of it was cold, so overpriced, portions not big enough, toilets absolutely disgusting with no toilet roll.

Booked for breakfast with characters, arrived on time, ordered within 5 minutes and waited almost an hour for food. Asked for an update from waitress after 30 minutes, she disappeared for a minute then continued to go about her duties, no update provided. Approached her again and asked for the update to be told it will be another 5 minutes, no apology or reason provided so I asked if order had been missed, was told they were busy despite restaurant appearing about half full. Another 15 minutes later, food arrived barely warm after waiting over 50 minutes. Clearly, the restaurant is understaffed, nothing to do with being too busy. Lack of interest from the staff they do have.

Absolutely stinking pizza was like a frisbee, steak plates tiny FALSE ADVERTISEMENT avoid to be honest waited over an hour for food

Menu differs from actual food, 3 different meals had items missing, very over priced for portion sizes. However my kids loved seeing the characters.

Can only say it was absolutely awful a ridiculous long wait from ordering to the food arriving. When the food did arrive my wife's order of gammon and egg was stone could we ended up taking it back and getting a refund. One thing for sure we will not be using this facility again

Food good for an an haven restaurant don't expect it to be the rits or even weverspoons quality and you genuinely get an surprise at the meals but definitely not worth the prices cook in the caravan save your cash

We go here every year and found it quite disappointing this year waited ages for food. We order drinks on the ap one afternoon and they forgot about us they served everyone else first I had to go and chase them up. When I did that I found the young girl quite rude.

Had to ask for table to be cleaned, food was not impressive.

We went here for tea as a family of 8 after a pleasant day out. Prices seemed average with a few offers on kids meals. The food and service however was beyond hideous. If you stay at this holiday park, please avoid this place at all costs. We waited 1hr 10 with hungry kids for the first plates to arrive.. the order was then wrong. We waited another 40mins for the next plates and the quality was so bad. I only got a burger meal as you can't normally go wrong, but it was horrid.. I didn't even risk the sides as they were unrecognisable! Apparently the attached photo was coleslaw. Please avoid this place, it's so badly ran, just rude kids waitering. The toilets were another matter.. I couldn't bring myself to upload the state of the floors, but you get the idea.

Sunday Roast disappointing. Carrots and cauliflower cheese undercooked. Stuffing overcooked . Menus states jug of gravy which was non existent when we asked the serving staff should the be a jug of gravy she said not sure though others have said the same I will go and check we never saw them again.

Sunday dinners were nice but everything else I had through the was over deep fried in dirty oil.

Sunday carvery. Appalling we bin coming here for years but this yr we were looking forward to our lunch as was hanging from the night b4. lol. It was a bit shocking the portion size was fit t fill a child. Used to be self service but they do it now. Wast even hot. Thnku god for macdonalds 😜xxx

Abby Gordon Neil superb staff love coming here every year these three are new staff and you wouldnt no natural staff should be appreciated by there employers. Abby new 6 peoples orders after serving us once when she seen us was so happy to see us and the feeling was mutual. Gordon such a lovely deep man but so happy for interaction when you get him. Meet Neil on the last day what an amazying charachter such a lovely young man. The food was execellent untill the last morning it was cold. But after speaking with chief was redone. Well done Haven on the new staff this year if you could make sure these three people no how good they are would be great.

We ordered 4 meals and a child meal. 2 of the meals was chicken tika masala. What arrived was not chicken masala if I hazard a guess I would say a chicken katsu curry judging by menu pictures. There was no nan or poppadom with it either. The dishes was sent back 3 times and the waiting staff just kept bringing back the same dishes once minus the rice. As the duty manager at the time was arguing that there was nothing wrong. Even the waiting staff apologised and acknowledged that it wasn't a masala. I have never seen a masala with corn, broccoli, carrot and a pale watery soup over it with the chicken. As this was about 7 pm and the child needed bed soon on the 3rd time. The manager came back with the same dish and a gravy dish with thick brown curry sauce to pour over it. We decided to just eat it as we were hungry and everyone else had finished their meals. I must say that September weekend they had ran out of alot of food. So on the Sunday night they hardly had anything on the menu in stock. Which added to our misery as we couldn't exchange it for other things. It was a complete embarrassment as we had taking our friend there who had came to UK for a holiday. And this was what we ended up getting ruining a fantastic holiday.

Firstly Sunday roast not available despite be discussed when booking. Secondly when they eventually came to take our orders 3 of the chosen meals were not available. Thirdly the service was very slow dispute being practically empty. When then received our Melas which only one of us enjoyed them. The other four meals were dried out and didn't taste good. I ordered a bottle of VK and did not get offered a glass went and asked for one. When we finished our meals they didn't come to clear the table. We were not asked if everything was ok. Service was terrible we would not return.

After paying for lunch I had to wait 25 minute's before receiving lunch potatoes ran out then carrots roast potatoes ran out no mint sauce left after that it was cold ordered drinks the same time had to go bk to bar still hadn't received the drink s the staff were running round none of them seemed to no what to do poorly organised

I've not been to The Brigs of Tweed but I have walked past the place a few times this week.

Can't fault it good food and good price

Service was on the slow side but that because it was crammed busy. Otherwise was great

All i can say is they charge £2 if you want a dash of blackcurrant in your drink…

We had a meal here our first night for ease. I have to say the staff were brilliant but the food not so much or maybe it was the temperature. Our food was pretty cold when it arrived and when we mentioned this we were told “we could blast it”. I don’t see why you should receive food and need to have it blasted in a microwave. It should come at a reasonable temperature. I think it is a case of accepting too many customers when they really can’t cope with the staffing levels they have. I would not recommend this restaurant and it was expensive for what you received. Again this may not have been a deal breaker if the food was hot as some of the food (my steak) was cooked as ordered

You know the only thing that gives this place 4 stars is the staff, what a lovely bunch of people, the manager was lovely and she sorted us out after we waited 1.5 hours for food. The bar staff lovely and full of sorrys. Just the kitchen need to get there act together and sort out the food.

Bit pricey but the staff couldn't do enought! The lass who served us breakfast the last few days was a diamond and let the youngest use her tablet to pick her meal...

Food was overcooked and very small portions. Do not recommend eating here at all.

Don't have the lasagna! Half of it was a jelly like blob with very little meat. No one asked about how it was and when I complained it was met with a shrug of the shoulders. Paid the bill and didn't even get a thank you . Absolutely disgusting.

Arrived told a 45 min wait for food we decided to wait as only just got to the site ordered food but 3 things we wanted they had run out of and drinks had to send 2 glasses back there where only 4 of us as they where dirty and had lipstick on nasty....... In the end we waited nearly hour and half for food thing and they weren't even that busy when food did come out it was nice my daughter didn't like the lasagna though but not there fault really so only 2 stars

Averagely priced, but very much unorganised if they can't allow customers to walk in with due to over an hour wait on food for those already in. We did have a few issues with waits for food order mix ups and food gone off, but they were dealt with eventually.

food is terrible, we had a pre paid card so had no choice but to eat on the park. the first night of arrival, we where all starving. asked for a table, seated...then some 15 min later a young waitress came over and told us theres an average 1hour wait. we had no choice but to leave as kids where starving. second day we ordered dinner, over an hour wait, no one to tell us why or what the hold up was, just bewildered young waitresses. food did eventually come, everyone else had what was supposed to be hot meals, they where stone cold, my chicken salad was like dowsed in vinegar, so strong it made me cough. next day, same story. waited over an hour for breakfasts, half the items on the menu where not available. when the food did eventually come it was freezing cold. all week we have all had dodgey tummies, say again had no choice but to eat there as there is no refunds if you dont use your pre paid card. home now, ill with food poisioning. kids are ill, hub has a dodgey tummy. will never be back. dont eat here if you value your health.

We booked in for the carvary 3 days in advance got there early staff took our order we went up to get our carvery to then be told they had no meat left apart from gammon that left us disappointed but we then decided as a family we would then just order something else some of my family wanted the mixed grill to then be told there was no steak ,but we moved on and got all our orders placed ,we then waited 2 hours and 30 minutes for our meals ,i myself orderd the chicken tikka masala and omg it came in a take away box and was basically curry water with prossed chunks of chicken with sliced peppers absolutely disgusting the £3 microwave meal from the shop tastes better ,we ended up getting the whole thing for free but to be honest i would not recommend eating from here as really over priced and takes far to long and not the best tasting either. They really need a team meeting to asure there customers are happy the way the whole place is run is a complete shambles ,i have been coming to berwick since i was 7 years old i am now 36 and this terrible service was a first for me ,a lot of people were getting up and leaving because they were waiting that long for there food and it wasnt even that busy .

When we arrived (6 people) the restaurant was very busy and the staff did explain that there could be a bit a of a wait on our food…we totally understood this…our host Callum was really nice & pleasant and offered us all a drink on the house for our inconvenience due to the wait…would definitely be back here.

Terrible! Very long wait to get served then 1 hour 40 minutes to actually get the food…. I would have happily left and went elsewhere but our group had elderly (some with mobility issues) and thought easy enough to stay as we wanted to see the evening show on in the entertainment area next door. My son was starving. Have never seen him eat so quickly when food finally arrived, but would not rate it as even being as good as a Wetherspoons as everyone agreed it was not great. I had pasta that was basic and the tomato sauce was too strong like ketchup! Sausages and mash with gravy was dry and tasteless. Ate in town after that or in the caravan.

Would give zero if I could!! Only good thing was very polite and kind young staff doing there best. Food took 1hr15 mins and was awful. Not as per the menu and not well cooked/ put together. None existent management, eventually got a discount on the bill but we could see the kitchen staff laughing about us complaining. AVOID!!

Waited 40 minutes to get a table to then wait over an hour to be told what my husband ordered was unavailable and that it would be at least another 20 minutes for our starters. Manager finally spoke to us after requesting 3 times. He tried to make it right by giving us complimentary fish and chips to take away. If you work there you should know he 100% blamed the staff.

Not a very good place to eat! Booked for 7.30 pm got order taken 7.45pm with starters and mains to be told 30 mins wait then told neither starters were available now! So we said ok fair enough then just maim courses then, they arrived 9.15pm and when did arrive my sons pizza was rock hard and my wife had a piece of macaroni on her chicken burger. And noone checked up to see if meals were OK! When paying and saying about wait was told by shift manager everyone had to wait, then when I mentioned it would of been nice if a manager was in control and actually noticed the problems she said she was behind bar and could only do that! I was a restaurant manager/Hotel manager for 20 years and have never seen such shambles ever, nor have I heard such excuses from any manager when complaining! Serious training and thought needs to be taken in this restaurant and if they need help/suggestions I'm more than happy to help! For such a big chain of businesses that's very disappointing to not have a decent restaurant on site

I got chicken burger and chips and chips seemed over cooked and had to ask for the coleslaw, also 2nd time we went they didn't have anything we asked for so left without eating

Twice we’ve been sick this week because of the food here, service is slow taking 45mins for a sandwich. Was the same last year too nothing but disappointments

Really awful service, literally just waited 80 minutes for 2 panini's and some chicken nuggets.

I wouldn’t go back there again had booked for 2 evenings but cancelled the 2nd booking as the food was terrible. The starters came out at the same time as the main meal .The staff never checked up on us to ask if everything was ok .

Waited for ever for main course and when it arrived was a small portion disappointed, nothing available on kids menu

Had 2 meals here for £15 a few weeks ago mon to thurs ,they were really excellent can't complain at all greatly improved since the last time I was in,only complaint it was freezing with the door constantly left open,this problem needs sorted

Good restaurant that could be so much better if they stuck to advertised prices. We ordered 3 items off the "2 for £15" menu which somehow came to a total of £21+ Also £2.30 for a can of irn bru is ridiculous. On the plus side, all staff friendly and helpful

Went for Sunday carvery 4 of us went got kids first was horrible veg raw no mash or roast potatoes at 12.20 only opened at 12 my grandson had turkey and a yorkie pub as their was nothing else tried to charge me £6.99 me and my husband canceled ours due to the state of my grandkids dinner very disappointed 😞

I was wary about dining here after readingbthe terrible reviews however we waited 35 minutes for the food, but it was delicious. Hot, freshly cooked and tasted delicious. The staff were all polite too.

Was told there would would be a 20-30 min wait for food, which is fair enough.... 55 mins later we had to get them to box it up as it wasn't sorted and we had a train to catch. Food was nice but would have been nicer served in the timeframe they said at a table rather than on the move on the way to the station.

Best advice I can give is to go here expecting food of the same quality as a bog standard Spoons....and like spoons the chips are canny dreadful. I got the fish which in all honesty was canny nice, the wife got the chicken tikka which she enjoyed but came with far too much green pepper for her liking. My daughter got chicken nuggets which she also enjoyed, however as they were only available on the small kids menu the portion was canny small. My final advice is to go to the bar to get your order cause if you rely on table service you'll spend the next half hour straining your neck trying to see which server is getting your drinks ...sadly the answer is the one who hasn't started their shift yet. Enjoy!

I had a not bad lunch chicken was a bit dry but sat myself for a wee bit timeout but the service was a little slow but overall it was alright

Restaurant in Haven berwick upon tweed. We went at 5 and it got much busier. I’d advise you to book. Straight forward order for 3 adults 2 kids. Waited 50 minutes. One pint 2 soda waters one with lime and 2 squashes. £53 total so, decent prices. The food was really nice and majority of staff seem to be trying their best. Strange when I went to pay, the guy serving me didn’t offer receipt and crumpled it up. I asked for it so he gave me a duplicate. He’d rang it up as £3 odds and put through 10 x holiday £5 vouchers. I’ve never seen a holiday voucher, don’t know what that was about. I was thinking, if I had to complain or something, they’d be thinking, “oh behave you got an almost free meal!” I paid cash. £53 anyway…. Apart from that being shifty and the long long wait, the tasty food made up for it 🍗 🍔 🍟

Been coming here over 30 years on and off worst ever lukewarm stodgy mash microwaved served with microwave pie lava filling served with a cajun chicken which is supposed to be spicy the spicy obviously walked out with the flavor of the pie and don't get me started on the service with the exception of 2 staff it was awful

I was at Haven for a 5 day break and while we were there, we ate out twice. The service was exceptional, the food was lovely and reasonably priced.

Nice restaurant reasonably price good food

Terrible service and incapable of Gluten Free, even though they claim they can offer the pasta dishes as 100% gluten free. My partner ordered gluten free bolognese and my son ordered the normal spaghetti bolognese. Both came and my partners had the GF pasta... though after a few mouthfuls he found strands of spaghetti in his meal. They tried to argue that it was still gluten free!? Absolutely despicable! This is the first night of our holiday and he has coeliac disease. We can only hope that he realised in time and isn't going to spend the rest of the week ill. 😡

Really disappointed with the food, having eaten here many times before I have to say the food was awful, I had the hunter's chicken and I don't know what it was but it wasn't chicken, the texture was wrong, my grandson opted for the fish and that was tastless, perhaps a coincidence but we were both ill the following day.. 😢

Overpriced food and drink like all park sites

Food 1 hour late and cold. Service is terible. The quality of the food was horrible. The chips must have been reheated for hours.

Pleasant staff and lovely food , had to book table in advance due to covid but everyone was helpful and friendly.

Went in for a meal on the Saturday evening and was a great experience. Staffs was very attentive, friendly and helpful and food was excellent. The service was so good on the Saturday we decided to go again on Sunday and what a let down that was. The food was again was great but the length of time it took to wait intill we received the main dish was terrible,50minutes and then it took about 40minutes for us to get 3 dessert.
