This place is basically a scam. The quality of the food for the price is absolutely horrible. I spent £18 on a steak and chips and got a tiny thin steak which looked nothing like the steak they advertised.

It was a disaster - I went there for a business lunch, and I asked for a printed receipt to expense my lunch for 3 times, they can’t offer it until a manager told me to enter my email into the console to get a digital receipt. The receipt never arrived (and they taken my email). I called them and ExCeL general line told me to send them an email, and a manager called Connor will come back to me. I sent 2 emails and as of today, I still couldn’t get a simple receipt to expense my business lunch - This is unbelievable experience !!!!

Food was actually really good but unfortunately the service and attitude from staff members let the meal down. Me and a friend ended up ordering the same two dishes separately expecting them to be fairly small portions, my friend’s food came to the table and they were quite big. The server then approached me to ask if I wanted to cancel my order so I could share with my friend which we agreed to do. I wasn’t offered a refund for the food I ordered through the tablet system. Once we’d finished our meal, I asked the server if the money would be refunded back to my account as none of it had come to our table and we’d cancelled it. She then went to get what I presume was the restaurant manager who I then explained the situation to. She spoke to the serving team and then came back to our table to try and tell us that the food had been cooked and wasted so it was our fault/we had to pay for it. However, the server never gave us the option to have the food which is why we assumed it hadn’t already been made. I told the lady this and she became incredibly rude and unprofessional, to the point where I didn’t feel comfortable being within the restaurant. I was also annoyed that she claimed our cancelled food had been wasted when I realised that her serving team had actually eaten it themselves! I did manage to get a refund after much huffing and puffing on her behalf but please can someone send this lady for some training on how to give good customer service? Absolutely horrendous treatment of customers with no attempt to apologise for the misunderstanding. It’s safe to say we won’t be returning to eat here again!

Super positive experience for us. Busy excel center during The international horse show, but seated within 5 mins. Easy ordering, using Qr scan and touch screen tablet on each table. Quick and easy to use. Drinks arrived within 2 minutes and chicken burger 7 mins later! Cajun Chicken burger so tasty, and chips hot and crispy. Only slight negatives are that it's a couple of flights of stairs and not a big choice on the menu. Great experience. Thank you

horrible experience ordered from the tablet waited 10 min for my drink to come the hostess just stayed on her phone no server was paying attention waited 45 min for my food then i spoke with a server they told me it will be 5 more minutes after waiting 15 more minutes i left very very unhappy still hungry and will not recommend going here i would be better getting something from subway

By far the worst restaurant I've eaten from. BY FAR. I can't believe that they get away with serving food like this. They take crazy advantage because of their location, people are forced to eat there because there are little options and so they think they can just serve anything. Food: Burger + Chips - disgusting Aubergine + hummus dip - the bread was old and stale Chicken wings - were old, soggy and not even remotely crispy and they were cold Salmon - was very cold - just taken out of the fridge, stank of fish - meaning its not fresh - Didn't have options for cocktails although that was advertised on the menu Service: Not great Atmosphere: If the food was right, the vibe would be better, but you order at the table and there's just zero anything special about this place. Excel should shut them down. IMMEDIATELY.

We had a server named Vanda who was absolutely excellent and extremely attentive, friendly and positive. Vanda took the time to explain any queries we had and assisted us with anything we requested. Vanda ensured that we had the best quality service they could offer. As well as Vanda, Ahmed was always happy to help and step in. Many thanks to the team for making our night special.

Absolute waste of money. I'm not one to leave reviews but I thought the service and the food were so bad that I decided to share it. I asked for the chicken salad because I thought it was the only healthy option on the menu. Lunch arrived before the drinks and I found it strange because it took only 10 minutes. I left almost the whole plate. The rice was undercooked, it only tasted like onion and cilantro. The chicken was cold and dry, you can tell that they leave the dishes ready and take them out of the fridge. In addition, there was barely a steak. They should specify that it was a rice salad with chicken because I was expecting a salad with vegetables. To say something about the good thing about

Absolutely shocking restaurant at Excel, prices are sky high, very limited menu options, portion sizes very small and all main dishes have a load french fries and not much else. Desserts don't reflect what they should be in principle. Rocky road dessert had no Oreo biscuit and very little ice cream. Restaurants like this should close down. Vote with your feet and do not go to this brand

The decor is lovely and the staff very friendly it’s just a shame that the food is basic and Wetherspoon's esq and clearly overpriced considering that quality, portions are good but we did not finish anything as was just not enjoyable (gristle in the burgers, salsa and sour cream on loaded fries was anything but). We would have been better off at a fast food vendor.

Food came out almost immediately after ordering which was quite strange. The burgers were luke warm and tasted funny. They were very dry. Inedible. My daughter had Caesar salad with chicken that was stone cold in the middle. We didn't pay for meals and neither did the adjacent table. You can only pay via a screen on table. The qr code brought up a website that wasn't loading. No other way to pay, it worked eventually. A total farce. Don't bother

The decor is nice and being above the Jam packed crowds of Excel is definitely good. Getting seated was quick and ordering was simple via the touch screen device on the table, although I still had to scan a QR code and pay via my phone which made the device seem a bit redundant to me. Unfortunately that's only the beginning of the negatives for my experience at The Bridge. I ordered a cup of tea, a coke, an apple juice, The Bridge burger (a beef burger) and a chicken burger. This came to about £33, not cheap but also not outrageous. The drinks came fairly quickly however they do not have honey, so was forced to have sugar in my tea, which was a bit of a let down but I can accept that a lot of places don't have honey (they should imo), they did however have oat milk. Now maybe I'm just too patient but 50 minutes later our food still had not arrived! It was fairly busy but by no means over run and there was no reason for our food to take so long. So finally after being sick of waiting, almost falling asleep, my coke going flat and my daughter being incredibly hangry, I went up to ask how long these burgers were going to be. As soon as I asked, the manager (small Asian lady) did not answer but rather looked around elsewhere as if I wasn't standing right in front of her. It was the chef that said what table? I told them and the manager proceeded to look it up on the system then tell me there were no others for my table (bare in mind I'd already paid!) I told her to look again, so she went into the past orders and said 'this was an hour ago'! I said, 'so?'. She then proceeded to indirectly call me a liar multiple times by saying that the food has been brought out and that she personally bright it to the table! I told her no, look at the table and would I be standing here having this conversation if we had the food? To which another waitress said, he's right, they've been sitting there for ages. The manager repeated that she or someone else brought the food over personally at which point the chef apologised, offered me free onion rings, sweet potatoe fries and drinks. I said I didn't want extras, just what I ordered, plus I'm intolerant to onion and specified this in my order. The food was then brought out within minutes with sweet potatoe fries, a Fanta and coke (I guess they just chose these extras randomly for us). The fries were tough and the sweet potatoe fries dropping in oil that tasted like onion rings, which has given me a headache (the intolerance), the burger was thick but tasteless and wasn't any better than one from a fresh packet at the supermarket. The chicken burger was a breast piece, overdone, very dry (my daughter had about 4 bites). I think it was pre seasoned from the freezer as it tasted just like a fillet burger from frozen. All in all, highly disappointing and I cannot recommend the Bridge at Excel even slightly. Such a shame cause it has all the potential to be lovely. Credit to the chef and one member of serving staff for being apologetic, nil poi to the manager for being defensive and accusatory to a patron who had not only already paid but waited an hour for their food. Shame on you girl.

Pretty awful for a "restaurant" in a supposedly premier location like the ExCel venue. Firstly our drinks glasses were filthy .. had someones lipstick and finger marks still visible!! Ordered "Hot & Spicy" chicken wings which tasted like they had been cooked one or two days earlier . They were anything but hot & spicy and in fact tasted bland ,greasy and like dog breath! I complained and took an alternative of chicken jambalaya which just about edible - tho the chicken was overcooked , dry and greasy! At £16.50 for that it was a rip off. We decided to give the dessert a miss! The one star is for the salad & the waiting service which was attentive and blameless- and for the free drinks we were given after the filthy glasses were replaced; also the manager did make an effort to appease my complaint about the wings. Our advice: GIVE IT A MISS! Find elsewhere in ExCel to eat! So close to being ZERO stars!

Had lunch here whilst attending the motorcycle show. Extremely quick service as you order via a tablet device and pay by card. Could be considered expensive but you have to appreciate that you are in the Docklands. The burger was ok and the beer was light and easy to drink.

Terrible from start to finish. My colleague booked this restaurant to meet clients at an event. I noticed the poor reviews prior to the lunch and just hoped that things may have improved. Unfortunately the service was terrible, waiters just standing around, had to ask them numerous times if we can order drinks and food even tho it was not busy. The food we ordered was also tasteless. Avoid!!!

The burger, chips, and onion rings tasted as though they'd been under a heat lamp for half an hour. The burger bun was not toasted and very gummy. Lastly, the tables were grimy and the food (I'm being generous by calling it that) was overpriced.

It's a shame there isn't a '0' to review this restaurant. I went with 4 other people and the service was the worst I have EVER experienced. The waitress seemed lost and didn't know what she was doing. I ordered a burger and asked for it without onion. She then said that it wasn't possible because it was difficult for the chefs to take out the onion from the salad, and she said she will put the salad on the side so I could pick out the onion myself. Which is just ridiculous because a chef shouldn't complain about taking onion out of a burger bun. My friend said that she had a gluten allergy and the waitress asked what that was. How can you be working in a restaurant and not know what a gluten allergy was? We ordered the food and it took about 5 minutes to come out which is way too short for 'decent' food to come out. When the food did come out I was very disappointed. The burger, which she said I had to pick the onion out myself and the salad was on the side, came IN the burger and came with onion. The burgers were cold and the chips were cold and hard. It felt like I had microwaved food on my plate. It was a waste of money. To make things worse, the waitress cleared the plates and stood close to me, scraping and piling the plates in front of me. It was rude and uncomfortable. The food wasn't worth the money and when we were getting ready to leave, one of the waitresses pushed me out of the way to clear the water glasses. Overall, I left still hungry and unhappy. Me and my friends were disgusted by the poor service, awful food and rudeness from the waitresses. It wasn't worth the money and I certainly will not be going back again. I advise people to avoid this 'restaurant' because it was a big let down. I don't understand how this place is still open.

Unfortunately there is no 0 option. I ordered a vegan bite burger and it was as dull as it gets. Nothing exceptional, came with fries and a can of drink in a tray that's impossible to eat in. All the tables at the bottom floor were occupied so I followed their own sign next to the stairs leading to the top floor specifically mentioning that there is "more seating" available. There was no one to serve me once I got to the top so I sat at an empty table, amongst all the other empty tables around me. I felt looks from the workers and immediately understood that for some reason I wasn't allowed here and lo and behold a gentleman who I gather may have been the manager, approached me to tell me that this is a reserved space for customers of this floor (I don't quite remember exactly what he said but it sounded like this). Why was I not allowed even if my food was from the same restaurant? Id recommend either clarifying the signs or being more courteous. Will not come here again or recommend for any meetings.

This is one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The host was passive aggressive and useless from the start, having to explain three times that our group of 6 needed two separate tables as we weren't dining together. The service was slow, waiting 20 mins for our drinks order to be taken and a further 15 mins for them to arrive. 45 mins into our meal we actually got our food which was highly disappointing. I ordered a caeser salad which came without chicken so was effectively £10/12 for half a lettuce with some sauce on. We mistakenly ordered a second round of drinks which after another 20 mins a waiter came over and aggressively asked if we had our drinks as he thought the ticket had been double ordered so "didn't bother to make them" and we told him we'd just ordered the same drinks again so would like them asap. He then started arguing saying it wasn't his fault and some other nonsense which we didn't really understand as we didn't accuse him of anything we just wanted drinks. This was all highly embarrassing as I was in a key client meeting and for 3 people the experience cost over £70 which was in no way appropriate for what we received. I will actively be dissuading people from eating here and hosting meetings in different bars off-site which is a shame as this could be a great bar.

Yo era un cliente habitual. . . como 1 a 2 veces por semana. . . a veces pizza a veces pollo. Las últimas 2 a 3 semanas vi una disminución en la calidad de los productos entregados. Pensé que tal vez estaba recibiendo el último pedido y solo querían terminar las cosas e irme a casa. Pero, mi último pedido fue un cubo familiar, pagué 35 por el pedido completo. . . y se pudrieron partes de pollo "cocidas". . . Ahora cambiaron el nombre, pero siguen siendo la misma dirección, nunca ordene desde allí, ¡gracias!
