Dixy Chicken in Newham

Horrific, I bought the food yesterday and I received like 11 chips and the chicken was uncooked

Very mediocre experience, they even sell expired products. Definitely avoid if possible

Rubbish, don't go there. Too expensive for a small tasteless portion. Hardly anything inside the chicken strip burger so don't be fooled by the 2 for £6 deal. I asked for a big portion of chips and the boy said it will be given in a big box, rather the lady put it in a small paper bag, calling it large. Just go somewhere else and enjoy your food.

Very rude lady either mole on her left upper lip. Was rude with every customer. Was eating her food whilst serving and using same hand with no gloves prepared our food. DISGUSTING.

Don’t go to the green st branch you gone regret it like I do .food quality is too bad customer service is zero there is only one lady serving n she was rude ..chips were cold n it’s taste like they using really old oil . burger is tiny and wings are mixed old&fresh .my children weren’t happy nither I ☹️please don’t use that branch .papa s is the best always hot food.

This place is one of the originals on Green st. Food is always fresh, the place is clean, and the customer service 👌 owner is friendly and hard working, nice to see a woman in the food industry doing what she does. Can't go wrong with Dixy if your ever in the area go try the chicken wings 😋 they are sooo good. I'll be back again!

Terrible service. The lady was so rude. Asked for some mayonnaise and replied with “we need to fill the bottle up”. We said we paid for it but backchatted towards my mum. Chicken was cold and chewy from inside. Would never go here again!

Today Sunday 19 November at 14.30 I got extremely bad behavior from your customer service at Green street (beside Upton Park station) There was a lady who was so rude to me. There was a man beside her and the man was politely asked me to start order with him. But this lady was approached with very rude behavior that I must order with her instead of the Man. I was telling her what’s wrong with that if I order with the Man. She was still showed her rudeness with anger. That was totally not accepted. And she was later did not wanted to talk to me to receive the order. Really it was so disappointment service that I got from this Lady. You will see the lady in the picture here in Google. Even the food quality was worst. I would strongly NOT recommend this restaurant.

This place does not deserve the dixy name ordered 6 wings and chips meal and did not even receive 6 wings 😤. I got a handful of chips and 5 wings even thou paid extra for the 6th wing and to top it off I got a upset stomach food poisoning of course. randomly popped in to have lunch and met the lovely owner. Not only the food lovely but the lady was lovely to myself and my sister. We had a lovely heartfelt conversation and she was so welcoming. Will definitely make the trip from south ( Bromley) to east just for some chicken and a chat 😌 🙏🏾

The worst place I have been in my life .. I send in Ramadan just for my 5 years old kids to have food. The disgusting LADY was serving and her attitude was to rude even with my kids.. My son was having ketchup and mayonnaise mix with nugget , when she saw it she is saying it’s looks disgusting..Come one lady he is a 5 years old kid .. what do u except .. The chips were cooked to perfection and the wings were just so nice. I’ve never seen a shop with great service and such clean tables. Overall it was fantastic. You should definitely go here it’s worth the money

Avoid this place gave me food poisoning . thought I try it out… soon as I walked in was depressed my appetite went down looking at the filthy floor and the state of the shop put me off but unfortunately was too late. Never have I given a bad review but this place truly is so dirty and gave me such a bad stomach would avoid at all cost.

The worst dixy I’ve been to. The only reason I went was because spice hut had a queue. Moral of the story be patient and wait in the queue. Chicken has excessive salt. Chips are dry, stale and green. Stay away

Chips weren’t fried properly and wings were so small and had no flavour. I waited 15 mins for 3 wings and chips twice. Price was way too high. 4 pounds for 3 wings and chips twice is way too expensive. Do Not Eat Here

How can one person run the whole shop? I waited 25 minutes for a burger? I don’t even mind that but one person running the whole shop? The person looks depressed I’m not sure why she still has the shop open if she can’t run it.

Worst tasting pfc I have ever had, place is dirty, when I asked for a fork for my meal the lady said they don’t have any fork. Probably the first pfc that don’t have fork.

This is the WORST dixy chicken walked in looked disgusting only one lady making the food and serving, my chips was dry and hard the chicken was raw went and complained she just brushed it off she told me it was chicken fat. Not sure how dixy let’s people like that run their franchise store

This is an insult to the name DIXY. The whole setup was not like a DIXY chicken shop at all from seating to the menus. Only one lady serving and no other staff. The fries were so greasy, chicken burger had a thin piece of chicken breast about 5 mm think lol. The Diet Pepsi was warm as fridge was off to save electricity. Man what a shambles this place was. I should of gone next door for the chicken kebab place. My mistake and never again. I been to a few DIXY’s chicken shops and boy this was a fake. I wonder if the real owners of DIXY’s chicken no of this rip off place!!!!! Very unhappy. I rate this is place a BIG FAT ZERO!

The family went and it was great chips were hot and crispy and the burger was delicious and cheap,I felt sorry for the lady because she was on her a own and the customers where a bit rude to her. Definitely gonna return soon!

My husband went in this Dixy chicken today and asked for a chicken fillet burger but unfortunately was given a fish fillet burger so he told the owners and instead of replacing it they were arguing… my husband don’t live around here and was hungry so thought he will get a quick bite before he has to travel an hour, but really disappointed. You really need to improve your customer service skills. You could have changed the burger. Oh well I hope you enjoyed eating it as my husband left it. Won’t be visiting again and advise others not to go too. Thanks

Food is OK but shop (chair, table and floor) didn't clean properly. Left over Food parts Everywhere. Price is reasonable. Customer service is fine.

The lady had the worst attitude ever, the chips tasted unseasoned and the prices were way too high (£2 for just 3 wings and chips -usually half the price anywhere else). If you’re planning on eating in, there probably won’t be any room to sit (even though there’s so much space but barely any tables). Be prepared to be treated like a school child. We literally got kicked out because my 6 year old was too slow eating.

If you want to waste your time and money Go there, if not there are better places nearby. The lady's attitude will make you feel immigrant!!

I just bought quarter pounder. The burger was was burned and it was not tasty at all. Really bad customer service. The lady that serve me didn't know if I was a customer. I had ordered 2 chicken wraps and 2 chicken burgers with chips , Firstly the burger was cold and the lettuce was soggy. the chicken inside the wrap did not even taste like chicken it tasted like fish . the chips had no taste i had to add salt . Overall i do not recommend this place to anyone.

We had orders chicken strip burgers, chips and chicken wings. The burger bun was too soft and got soggy because of the loaded mayo. They should've grilled the bun would've been more better. The burgers aren't as displayed on their menu. The menu shows the burger is loaded with chicken sticking out but our burgers had only 2 chicken stripes so was barely anything no where near what their pic on menu showed! The chips tasted fine no complaints however this has to be the first tasteless chicken wing I've tasted. Not to mention the chicken inside is hard and all dry. The sauce they gave they mixed up the ketchup and mayo together which is very annoying as I don't like ketchup so couldn't have the mayo. Plus they give very little mayo compared to the ketchup. They don't seem too bothered about customer service as this shop has so many bad reviews but there's been no follow up. Won't be purchasing again nor recommend.

My local area takeaway - The previous shopkeeper at this place was a lady owner. Too bad she singlehandedly used to run this shop with little help with barely any staff around to operate the shop. But her chicken wings and chips were the best! I could get 4-5 wings for a £1, but after the new current owners arrived. I don’t get the £1 chicken deals anymore it’s a shame but the wings here were a bit salty maybe it’s a change of recipes not sure but it’s mediocre good.

Had take away and spent £16. Brought food home and it wasnt fresh at all. Food went straight into bin. Couldnt returned it because of distance. Never ever going there again.

El pollo estaba quemado y de color marrón oscuro. Estaba salado y sin sabor. Pedimos una hamburguesa por sí sola, pero el trabajador insistió en que tenía que estar con papas fritas. La tienda estaba sucia, sucia y en estado. Las sillas estaban rotas. No lo recomiendo en absoluto. Sin cubiertos ni pañuelos.

Its like family favorites. Kids love the food and staff very friendly and look after you. Prices are reasonable.

I ordered chicken wrap and she didn’t even give us sauce and when I went to put my own sauce in she told me off and said not to use too much when I haven’t even put anything in it. I am going to contact the FSA (Food Standards Agency). I absolutely cannot believe that they allow this business to run without proper hygiene rules in place. She was not wearing gloves for a start, and eas not wearing a hair net, increasing the risk of cross-contamination (Search it up if you don't know what it is). The rubbish bin was packed to the brim, and nobody decided to clean it. Horrible customer service. Complained about the Bin. She was arguing with us the whole time we were in, and she was reluctant when giving us condiments such as ketchup. The floor was ridiculously dirty. A ketchup bottle on the floor! You've got to be kidding me! The atomsphere was tense with other customers. The decor was dark, dull and drab. It was depressing. After a significant amount of time waiting for our food, what arrived was not worth the wait. I would not dare feed that food to a dog. For £2.50, we were supposed to get 6 wings and fries. The portion of chips was extremely limited. They were drooping and felt like they were not cooked at all! The wings looked as if they shrunk into little canpès. They were tiny, and the breading was horrendus. There was no flavour or spice in them. A horrible meal indeed. To add to all of the chaos, after complaining about the bin, she emptied it right in front of us, virtually next to us. The stench from the bin was rancid! She also most probably accidentally ripped the bag, causing the conents to pour out on the floor. Never coming again!

She gave £5 less change to a shy customer. the cutomer stepped back to understand her change. came back to ask about her change. she made her wait and complained why did she not tell me when i gave her the change seaverl time than gave her food away to another customer by mistake. gave her £5 back with warning, when customer asked for food, she said theres nothing i can do you need to chase that guy who took it. The person at the back, said its green street(meaning people there are idiots) I could not belive it no regards for food hygine the girl or was it a boy working at the back not covering hair aswel as the women at the front. I left without buying
