Stayed here for a weekend while visiting Alton Towers and honestly couldn't rate this place any higher! Will recommend to anyone visiting the area and would definitely come back. Excellent food (Massaman Curry), great service (not sure who Benny is but everyone was fab) and the rooms were super clean and high quality. Stunning expensive feel duvet and pillows & lovely clean bathroom! Honestly 10/10 - thank you!

Had an absolutely lovely stay. Binny is so helpful and charming nothing to much trouble. Had the best nights sleep I’ve ever had at a hotel bed comfy linens etc good quality. The pub next door does pub grub but why when you can have authentic Thai food cooked by Binny which was the highlight absolutely gorgeous. Breakfast freshly cooked and plentiful and HOT! Friendly staff I would definitely recommend and would stay again. Thank you Binny for a fabulous and warmhearted stay.

We stopped to have a meal after Alton Towers. It is only a few minute drive and serves delicious authentic tasting Thai food. There were kids food options like nuggets and chips too. . It is a beautiful location down by the river and has a large, stunning beer garden (we played hide and seek with the kids). The staff were friendly and really helpful. Only one small comment for improvement was there wasn’t a dairy free dessert option as my son has an allergy. That would be easily rectified by having a sorbet or something in the freezer. They actually have created him a fruit platter to have which was really lovely. Apart from that it was perfect!

If you're visiting Alton Towers and thinking of staying in one of the resort hotels don't bother - stay here instead, you won't regret it. Less than half the price of the resort hotels, beautiful rooms with lovely soft beds and a restaurant serving delicious, vegetarian friendly Thai food. I wish I'd stayed sooner and will definitely visit again.

We traveled as a group of 4 (2 adults 2 teenage kids) to go to Alton towers for a birthday for the two kids. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are amazing and the staff are so welcoming and friendly, we couldn’t ask for more. From the simple touches of Benny being around in the morning and offering us coffees before breakfast. To the service from all the staff at the restaurant and hotel. We will be coming back to stay at the hotel again. Food was amazing and hotel room was lovely. We were given a different room to what we had booked, but this was really appreciated as it gave our older kids space rather than having the joined room. Evening food is all Thai based in the bridgehouse food was amazing. Breakfast was brilliant too. Also had food at the Talbot and this was also excellent. Would highly recommend the stay. Gardens are stunning also and lots of walks around the area. Literally 5 minutes from Alton towers.

Absolutely beautiful food. Real authentic Thai food and the chef, service and staff were warm, attentive and efficient. Absolutely beautiful setting here. We are not staying at the hotel, we popped in for food as staying a 1min walk away. I could eat here everyday of I could afford it. Well done all if you.

Most comfortable night sleep ever! We’ve wanted to stop at the bridge house for years being regular visitors to the towers, and this year we decided to finally book a nights stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was amazing! The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! We stopped in the Swiss room which was small but cosy and beautifully decorated. Everything was clean, organised and well presented. My only slight criticism, was that we are not Thai food lovers and the restaurant only serves Thai food. There is the talbot inn but sadly we didn’t fancy risking not being able to eat as you can’t book a table there, so we booked a table in advance down the road. The drink selection at the talbot inn and the bridge was amazing and great prices too! It’s such a beautiful little duo, we absolutely loved our stay and will hopefully now make it an annual visit! Thank you x

We stayed here a couple of nights for the LIV golf event at the JCB, and had a lovely time! When we arrived early they gave us a room to get ready in, and even poured us a pint before the bar had opened!! The rooms were lovely, and the garden is an absolute beauty!! The restaurant serves Thai food, which we had not really tried much before, but it was absolutely delicious, and we couldn't get enough of it!! All the ladies working here couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, they are a credit to the place! Will definitely stay here again if we return to the area!

You're definitely paying for the location but service and staff friendliness has improved since my last visit. The beer garden is large and great on a sunny day. Ashtrays on outdoor tables are all dirty and obviously not cleaned often enough, similar to the loos which never smell clean. Food quite expensive i.e. £18 for Fish & Chips or Pizza. The Thai menu is similarly expensive....i.e starters at £7+ and main courses such as Tom Yum soup priced at £14.

Never been before but visiting the area decided to have an evening meal . We arrived to find a hen party going on and football as well the noise was horrendous. Nearly walked out but we decided to stay thinking it would be ok once in the dining area . As we had a dog we were sat at a table in the bar amongst the racket. The menu had a poor choice no special board only a miserable list of Pie or burger or Scampi which was poor quality needless to say we didn't finish it we paid up and left as quickly as possible. Never again 😒
