1st ever visit, Sunday Carvery we were going for. Didn't do Pork they do Turkey, Gammon and Beef. I was very disappointed so I opted for scampi and chips. My friend opted for the Carvery, we placed order and when my friend went for her Carvery I heard the chef mentioning that they had Pork on instead of Gammon. Would of been a good idea to put a sign to say what meats were on offer that day. It looked very very appetising. The scampi was very pale and soggy needed cooking a little longer (tastless) and the chips were ok, just as well a very small portion. The sticky toffee pudding and Ice-cream was very nice indeed. If we ever go back I will have the Carvery no matter what! The place was very quiet looked like the chefs family having a meal and a single elderly man, then when he left two young women came in. The Disabled toilet /Baby changing room was locked, had to use lady's toilets. Don't know if you need to get the key or if it was out of order.

First visit but certainly wont be my last. We were made to feel very welcome. The staff were warm and friendly. The food was amazing and home cooked.

Large outside grassy seating area with children's climbing frame. Serving food, pool table and darts Many TVs showing live sports A great community pub with some very nice people and staff.

Real home cooked food served to your table. Good choice of food on the menu and at affordable prices …. Well worth a try.

Fantastic friendly pub. Food is delicious and so cheap. Homemade chips are a must! Staff can’t do enough n service first class. Sunday carvery homemade Yorkshire puds n roasties. Highly recommended place to visit.

This cracking pub is only a 5 minute walk from premier inn/beefeater Gosforth/ Cramlington. Typical Beefeater no atmosphere no sky. So had to look to see what was around. Took a wee walk down. First impressions clean tidy. People sitting around enjoying themselves and relaxing. Bar staff absolutely lovely. Music karaoke available. Football on multiple screens. Soon welcoming and when in area again will definitely be returning. Thanks for welcoming me appreciated.

Visited today for Sunday lunch, will I got again for it? No, I got the chicken which must have been cooked for over a week in the air fryer, I didn’t know it was possible to make chicken that dry. The mash was nice and the people working there are very friendly and make it a nice place to go for a drink. However I think the waitress was aware of my unhappiness with the food as nobody came to check how the meal was and no one asked when clearing the plate how it was as it was evident with the chicken not even being touched how I felt about it. I felt very disappointed as wanted a nice hearty Sunday roast and came home wishing I just bought my own stuff or went elsewhere. Place is a nice place with kind and helpful staff so will go again for the atmosphere but not for the food.

First time in the pub, will definitely be back next weekend, possibly try the grub see what is like. Watch this space.

If something on the menu says a desert is on offer for £1.99 with a meal, then it shouldn't matter if you decide you want it before or after the meal, it should still apply regardless. How are you supposed to know if you want a desert before you have your main meal, surely it makes sense that people would order it after a meal if they still have room. If it doesn't state you have to order it with the main meal then that's technically misuse of advertising anyway. Not very happy.

Class pub! I was working up in Blyth for 4 months and stayed near here. Staff very welcoming, and the locals too. Great pub to Get Battered in, and I did plenty of times. Food was good as well, but I liked the beer more 👍🍻🍻

I have been drinking here off and on for twenty years, it's a walm and friendly pub. But don't ask me, speak to one of the locals.

We had Xmas lunch can't fault the food it was fantastic . The staff never stopped lovely homely pub I would highly recommend it and thinking of booking again for next year .

Fantastic staff & lovely food. Called in as we were near by visiting family & didn't have time to go too far, we really weren't expecting much but we were pleasantly suprised, the rear garden was fantastic our young granddaughter played so happily, the young blonde girl serving was so helpful, nothing was too much for her & the food was so nice. There were 9 of us & they were so accommodating, the young girl sat us in the garden & guided us through the process with all of the covid rules, it was a fantastic few hours that we really weren't expecting. I would highly recommend a visit!

Decent pub, but, seemed a bit pricey for drinks.

Great place to be! Pool table can get a tad crowded but the food is lovely and so are the drinks! Beers always served cold and kind staff.

Was a organisation birthday party. Place had plenty off private space,food, drinks all good,bar staff were friendly and helpful. No problems what so ever.. champion.

Great pub was in Friday night disco karaoke really good, shame more local people weren't in, probably change in drinking culture, still had good night, just shows there was pool, sky telly, darts, excellent area, but sadly no one in hopefully sat night will be better, thanks for a nice night

One of the best places to relax and enjoy in the North East, great food and brilliant staff plus it is VERY DOG FRIENDLY. No negatives.

Only visited the Bridge for a couple of hours, seems to be a family friendly type of place, clean, tidy, does meals inexpensive, locals are chatty, could do with an extra pair of hands behind the bar when it becomes busy, but yes would return no problem.

Monday night is all main meals only £5.00 each. The food is very good and the service is quick. All the staff are very friendly and there is a lovely atmosphere. Each day has a different offer and the quality of of the food is fresh and tasty. This is not microwave rubbery food and well worth giving them a try. See the menu on the Internet.

Sunday Carvery was delicious, couldn't fault a thing about it, meat was lovely, perfect crispy roasties, big fluffy Yorkshire puds, fresh veg, cauliflower cheese and rich tasty gravy, all for a great price. Very welcoming and clean. Fast efficient service. We will be back!

We had our lunch there today , we've been many times and the food is always brilliant, as are all the staff. My husband had the mixed grill and I had the scampi, all cooked lovely. Also fudge cake and ice cream and fudge cake with squirty cream for hubby. Well satisfied again. Boddingtons beer and Doom bar also went down well so will be back soon.

Have been coming here every Sunday and through the week since summer 2014. We always book for Sundays to guarantee a table, never have to If going through the week. Food is excellent and great value for money. Carvery on Sunday only...and a great choice menu for those who want something different. Staff excellent always helpful and so cheerful and friendly😉There's also free WiFi. Today roast beef carvery as good as ever. Saturday 13 May 2017. Hubby n I had lunch here and we both opted for Steak pie, peas n homemade chips it was beautiful😋 Sat in the bar watching live footie as there was a kiddies birthday disco in the restaurant area and were they having a good time😄 Sun 21 May 2017. Went with the family (6) on Friday night, for a meal. Good atmosphere and real friendly staff (Steve??) served us, and the food could only be described as fantastic. Safe Play area for the kids at the rear of the pub and we will be back......can't recommend the place highly enough. 5 Stars.

I'm from Mansfield visited the the bridge had a love time on quiz night found the owners very friendly and staff very polite , looked at the menu good choices and prices very reasonable. In all good time with family and friends.
