Such a friendly pub, great service, delicious food, good range of beer, wine & cider, such a super central place to meet your village mates!

We visited with friends for a Christmassy meal, our friends booked a pod, when we arrived we were very kindly welcomed by a lovely young lady, We got our drinks and went to the pod, it was beautifully decorated with twinkly lights and crackers, cosy blankets etc… The light was a heater which was perfect for this time of year, and we certainly didn’t feel the cold. Our food was quickly delivered and we weren’t forgotten at all, we were visited regularly by staff who were only too happy to cater for our every need. The food was delicious, we all really enjoyed ourselves. What a lovely place to visit, the Christmas display outside is great, there’s a nice car park and all in a beautiful village. We will certainly be returning again. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pop in for a beer and burger regularly and always excellent.

Came here on the final night of our canal boat trip away and honestly it was the perfect place to end a great weekend. Laura behind the bar was so accommodating and was great to chat to and learn a bit about the area and the goings on at the pub. Great choice of beer and cider. Owner was great and they could have done more to help us. One of our group had hurt their leg and the ladies working were honestly incredible trying to accommodate! Thanks Brewery Inn staff!

The Brewery is my local. It's a free house so they serve beer that the locals like, and there is usually a guest ale to try. Great atmosphere, dog friendly, and a large garden to sit out in if the weather is nice. Honest, reasonably prices, pub grub. You'll not go hungry, the portions are generous. Sarah (the Landlady) and her team have made this lovely little pub the heart of our village.

A great locals pub very near the Kennet and Avon canal. It is a very very friendly establishment. You walk in, and the atmosphere hugs you. It' a pub that welcomes dogs with treats. I don't drink, and there were plenty of non alcoholic options, Zero Guinness Being one of them. Dinner was the vegetarian option, a hallumi burger with slaw and skin on fries. It was delicious. There is also a vegan option. Dessert was a honeycomb cheesecake that was yum. I would go back any day.

Love a good country pub, first time in here but won't be the last as the food was great although my eyes were bigger than my belly. Great local with a proper local feel.

Amazing pub which has a local buzz but also very welcoming to visitors and their dogs. Food was traditional pub dishes but very well done with generous portions.

Fantastic little village pub. We visited at lunchtime on Sunday and had a Sunday roast dinner. Food was delicious, service was fast. Staff super friendly. Very child friendly, lovely garden, great atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again!

What a wonderful place. Incredibly welcoming (both staff and local customers) to both humans and canines, we visited for a late lunch, with our three dogs on bank holiday Monday, and hope to return before we finish our visit to the area.

A proper English pub. We visited it multiple times while staying in the area for tea for lunch and for dinner. The atmosphere is really great and Cosy and people there are so friendly . The food is a great experience with traditional English dishes in very good prices and big portions. Being so dog friendly is also a big plus!

We had a very enjoyable Sunday lunch.

A fantastic small pub / restaurant. This is also a dog friendly establishment which is lovely to see. As we entered there were at least 5 dogs surrounding us. The food here is fantastic! There is a great selection on the menu, many of which can be made vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. The portion sizes are huge, so go careful ordering a starter as well as a main as we found out.

I almost don't want to review the brewery as I want to keep it a secret. This is a lovely traditional friendly village pub with good quality good value food. I love it!

Staying with family in the area, we had a dinner which was lovely, then we had Sunday lunch which would be difficult to beat. This is a proper friendly village pub, a rarity nowadays.

Visit once a month and great food and well kept ales. Friendly atmosphere.

We visited in half term and what a find! They had a Halloween experience in the garden which was fantastic. We were made to feel really welcome. Great beers and ciders on tap too! Next time we’re in the area we’ll definitely be back 🍻

We called in for a break from cycling along the canal and was made to feel very welcome, the choice of food was excellent and so could not resist having something to eat, we enjoyed our meal very much thank you.

Legendary hosts :-))) Went there today with our 8yo-girls and had so much fun. Great food, great atmosphere, but most importantly: loads of fun and a spontaneous drawing competition including a price. Will definitely come back asap!! Thanks for a wonderful evening!

Good food and generous portions

Looked grubby. If you are sitting in the back garden, look through the windows, all the clutter. It made me think of their hygiene standards. This pub is not for me.

Great pub. True village local. Very dog friendly in and out. Good selection of beers, varying week by week and many cider options.

Very dead place at lunchtime. Pubs are not as good as they used to be. At the end of a snack I found a 2 inch hair in the salad. I said nothing, but will not visit again. Probably estimated to visit the barge just a me further on by the canal.

Great little pub tucked away in seemed near melksham. And well worth driving the extra half mile past the Barge on the canal. Open every day. Two real ales on, a 3.6 and4.2 plus a hand pull cider. Nice to see a few people in on a Monday when many pubs shut now Ales and cider prices are lower than average

Had the pie of the day with peas and mash potato instead of chips followed by sticky toffee pudding with custard all very nice. Other toppings are available. Plenty of space. Must be a great place

Wonderful beer garden, great real ales and very good food. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Would visit again. We used the pub as a BritStop and filled up our motorhome with water.

Visited this pub on the first day of our boating holiday and made sure to visit again on the last! Amazing food and super friendly service. A short walk from the canal but 100% worth it. Very reasonable prices for the quality of the food.

What an amazing pub ! ! . We were recommended the pub by a chap on the bus little did we know the lovely guy had booked us a table for all 6 of us. Walked in and the landlady and all customers warmly welcomed us and to top it all the food was fantastic. If you like a warm welcome and good honest food get yourself down there you will not be disappointed.

Lovely tradional Wiltshire pub that sadly is disappearing. The landlady was very welcoming and the menu had traditional pub food that would accommodate most tastes and at a very reasonable price.

First visit for Sunday lunch! Reservations advised.. Absolutely superb.. tables all reserved which speaks volumes. Allowed to use a table that was reserved for 2pm. Typical old school roast..cannot fault it. Lovely friendly staff. Thank you x

This is an amazing place. The food looks and tastes amazing. It has a massive garden and all the members of staff are really nice. Would definitely recommend.

Stopped for lunch on a walk along the K&A canal. Nice cosy feel and friendly service. Food was tasty and quickly delivered. Will visit again if this way again.

Great local pub. Food is lovely. Service is spot on. If you don't fancy eating in grab a takeaway. Lovely garden in the summer, or snuggled up by the fire in the winter, or grab a pod outside.

Lovely pub super friendly landlady even filled up our water bottles and popped them in the fridge for when we were ready to leave. Great outdoor seating area too.

There was a young crew on last night, however service and food was great. Its a nice big garden too so if you want to avoid the obvious (busy and quite pricey) Barge Inn on the canal, I'd thoroughly recommend it.

Stopped for lunch during a round walk to/from camping site at Sends Green. Landlady welcoming, lovely local beer & excellent meals. All in all, a great, unpretentious local, & good value, £25 for 2 meals + 1 1/2pts. Try equaling that at the 'pub' down the hill!

Such a beautiful little pub with fantastic food! We decided to go for a selection of sides and starters for a mini-buffet and were not disappointed. The peri-peri shrimp was amazing, so crispy and flavoursome! Also the garlic bread was incredible! Honestly everything we tried was out of this world and very reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and there is even a play area for the kids in an inclined garden. If you are visiting the area or local, I would highly recommend visiting!
