The coffee was great but it was disappointing that they did not offer a single vegan sandwich or pastry to accompany the coffee.

The best sourdough we have ever test. We joined the masterclass of bread making. You can not find a better place in London for learning make such health bread. Chris the chef is very patient with enthusiasm, knowledgeable. Other staff is more than helpful. We also want like to highlight that The bread station is a true accessible place for everyone. Here you can laugh, enjoy your time and very best coffee, full range of pastry and bread. Will definitely come back for bread or even a haven in the busiest London.

Great bread/cakes and a nice family atmosphere in this Under-the-arches cafe. Staff are charming and it is interesting to see the bakery working in the background. Because of the bakery, it is lovely and warm in the winter and there is plenty of outdoor space in the summer.

I often have my coffee with oat milk and here you don’t need to pay extra for it, it’s great! They have coffee and breakfast roll for £4, sandwich with coffee lunch menu for £6. I love their cookies 🍪

Possibly the greatest sandwich I have ever eaten and certainly the best bacon sandwich i have ever had. This is worth making a pilgrimage across London to Hackney for this sublime experience. Made in this Danish Bakery with thickly sliced in house baked bread with a layer of garlic mayonnaise spread over wonderful bacon and a layer of tomato all baked in the bread oven to create perfection. Size: large price £5.00. Additionally a superb of home baked Danish Pastries should not be overlooked. Lemon Madeleines to die for among others. Dear eaters just go there and find lots of other interesting things in the area not the least of which is the famous Broadway Food Market every Saturday. 300 metres away is the London Fields heated outdoor Lido (swimming pool) to work off the calories. it's only just 200 metres to Atlantis Art Materials store an East End of London institution. Food stops being served at 1500. Not open after 1600.

Its a hidden quite location, close to london fields park in the courtyard, where are few tables outside and couple of them inside the bakery. Small cosy place, with fresh smell of newly baked pastries and breads. The smell is amazing and in addition they do great coffee as well. So you can come, have some pastries, sandwiches or toasts with a coffee and good chat. Quality of pastries is the reason why its worth it to repeat your visit.

They mill their flour onsite and make everything from biga (a type of sourdough starter). These people are serious about their bread and pastry. They have an assortment of breads and pastries including more traditional Danish offerings and more common baguettes and croissants. All the ones we ate there and took away were delicious. Staff were friendly.

Best cappuccino I've tasted for a long time and a wonderful speciality Danish pastry, a Mormor Kringle. Prices are surprisingly low for a craft bakery/cafe like this. There is good seating both in the bakery itself or the yard outside. It would be good if there were sun umbrellas in the courtyard. I would have rated this as Excellent, but the one downside is slow service. If you're coming to chill out and not in a hurry, then it's tolerable, but otherwise it's very slow. Waited around 15 minutes for the drink and the cake.

Lovely, comfy place with great baked goods and super friendly costumer service! I've visited a few times and had the chance to go through all the sweet baked goods on sale as well as the bread and they're all of the best quality.

I’ve been to the Plough quite a few times over a couple of years. It’s a nice pub, the staff are friendly and they have a cocktail menu and decent draught selection. They have screens for the sports lovers and there are guest chefs now and again mixing up their menu. I’ve never been to their basement club but they do have one! And their roast is really nice!

Like so many we hadn't dined out in a long time and my clever husband suggested to sulky me a mid-week local pick-us-up treat. I can only say wow. We loved Ceres when we last visited in 2019 but the tasting menu tonight with matched wines was out of this world and a steal at the price. Deservedly Michelin-recognised cuisine with such a friendly and professional face (just two young women currently run the whole outfit including single handedly chef-ing and wonderful front of house). Ceres is walking distance for us and we are grateful because it is a destination-grade restaurant. Fine dining for £48pp.
