Literally incredible corn dogs and very nice staff

I had one chicken katsu curry, and one cheese corndog, so tasty, so good. Thank you for the service, they are nice people. Highly recommend it.

Really friendly, attentive server and the food was lovely. I got a corn dog and bao and it was very good for the price! Would recommend if you need a lunch bite, it was 30% off for collection which was really reasonable too.

Easily the best Korean BBQ in East London. Great prices and quality ingredients. Also been in the place and it is spotless, you can tell they take great care of it. Get the fried chicken. Bulgogi bibimbap is a stable for me, looking forward to trying the Korean-style corn dog!

Great small takeaway Korean! Tried a few dishes and I'm sold, bibimbap is on point, the spring rolls delicious and I'm looking forward to trying the omelette next time and the dumplings!

Very poor quality food and over priced! Food either bland or over salty. This isn’t Korean food at all. They have offers of 30 % on all orders listed inside and this wasn’t given if you get a take away ordered inside. Avoid this place with a barge pole! Seriously bad, bad food indeed. Had to throw it away! If I could give a Zero I would!!

Food is amazing but the prices compared to before have become mildly extortionate. Corn dogs used to be about £5-6 but now they are nearing £8, which is a bit ridiculous.

They are currently advertising ‘30% off all food’ but have quietly increased the price of items massively. Bolgogi Bibimbap: Price in November 2023: £8.90 Price in March 2024: £12.90 After the 30% discount you pay £9.03, still more than the price was a few months ago. Advertising ‘30% off’ while actually charging people more feels scummy at best and illegal at worst.

Best korean food ever.Tried so many dishes and have absolutely no complain.Almost all the items are my favourite.Especially corndog.They have vegetarian options as well.Super yummy.Always cheap and delicious.highly recommended. keep it up.👍

Food is a great portion and if you get it with salad there's a great variety. Staff are always courteous and even go so far as to give you free stuff if they're shifting stock. Highly recommended all round!

Who made the kimchi stew? Was it made by a foreigner? It's very sweet and has no taste. It's usually hard to make kimchi stew this bad, but I'm very disappointed... The corn dog was edible.

Found the bulgolgi noodles very average. Flavors were bland and uninteresting. Had high expectations from the reviews. Friendly and quick service though.

We had kimchi stew rice and teriyaki tofu noodles, which are very delicious with good portion. The staff is very friendly and we have lovely chat. We highly recommend!

The corndog tasted quite plain and it didn't hit like corndogs from Bunsik. It would be good if they had more option for sauces and fillings. I can't say anything about the main meals as I haven't tried them yet. They also have no seating and you can't eat at the counter which is frustrating.

Great food at great prices - I would have loved to try more but due to dietary restrictions I had limited options, I rate them 5 because I could tell that they seemed busy, the lady was rushing to close but remained polite as I had ordered 10 minutes before closing. I got the veg mandoo and prawn katsu, loved the sticky rice and the soy sauce made a perfect side to the mandoo, will definitely be back

They food was reli good, hot and tasty even when I walked around for a while before I sat down in the park and ate it. They have a good variety of Korean food as well and I personally would recommend you to try their cheese hot dog 💓

The portion sizes are very small and not worth the money, I do understand prices of things have gone up but you do not rob people of their money, when you phone them to tell them about the portion sizes they say it’a management say not to fill the container up. Bought 2 x beef japchae for £21 and container not full, definitely not worth it.

Have been ordering from this restaurant for the last 3 years and have always been pleased with the food.

The dish i order wasnt good at all. Tasted bland and wasnt properly cooked. Also the service was really rude and hostile and i didnt feel welcome or safe there at all as a black person.

I ordered a Gangjeong(fried chicken) 6-7 pound, it was alright. I was craving for Korean fried chicken. I'd rather spending more money and get better one in other places. I am Korean and it's a bit disappointing taste.

Not sure how this restaurant earns a 4.5 rating but their yukhaejang is one of the worst I have ever had and I have eaten many, Seoul, NYC, LA Korea town. The soup was way too watered down, the meat almost not existent and the wrong kind. No gosari, etc.. additionally none of the banchan were provided. Note this was a takeout order. Would not order from them again.

Been going there for a long time, just to find out some of their food that I have purchased for a takeaway was not halal.. really disappointed as I have been going there since 2019. I had gone in there and I believe a European woman served me in the hackney branch had such stilled face that it didn’t phase her.. I had gone in to speak to another advisor and she implied the person that use to serve me understood little English. This isn’t excusable

The corn dogs are literally the best thing I have eaten in ages. I can't give them enough stars! The people working there are always really friendly and the food is quick and perfect every time! Will be going again tomorrow for a corn dog!

Good freshly prepared while you wait. And definitely well worth waiting for. I love the Korean fried chicken here so much that I always buy 2 portions. I wish they had a seething area , but only a small shop but a tiny gem

I only really get the korean corn dog but its a really good deal. The box meals are ok, decent flavor but kind of oily and quickly thrown together, but solid for the price

Excellent Korean food - a strong menu and authentic flavours. This place is awesome for Korean comfort food - and the portions are great. Their Korean fried chicken is excellent - and their homemade kimchi is superb.

Unbelievable Korean takeaway! Super tasty, fresh, and flavourful. Kimchi Jjigae was a big portion of warm, delicous tofu stew, and the Dakgalbi Bibimbap was spicy, tangy and great! Excellent delivery time, will bw going back time and again.

LOVE jijigo, I’m a local and come here all the time! Amazing value and perfect meat & veggie options! Food quality is always amazing, I have nothing to fault!

I normally love Jijigo and have ordered from here often. Sadly in the past two occasions the korean fried chicken and bibimbap have been very average. I’m worried they’ve either changed ownership or they’re cutting corners and buying cheap chicken - it’s very noticeable. 😢

The food was lovely and portions very generous. The little glass noodle croquets were amazing and a completely different from anything I had before. Recommend.

We ordered online and to our surprise the meal looked exactly as on the photos in Deliveroo and more so, they were absolutely delicious!!! Really nice quality and for the good price!

I had Jjajangmyeon today, that was really disappointing. On this “new menu” they mentioned “Parasite” the film, so I expected the noodles with beef steak, So wrong, I checked later and found out.it did say“suitable for vegan” in a small print, so it was my bad I guess, but it was misleading saying “Noodle dish from ‘Parasite’” Anyway it was way too sweet and gooey, and I just think £8.50 for cabbage and onion noodle is too expensive.

My love affair with Jijigo started last summer, and I've taken away many tasty dishes since then! The dak-galbi dupbab (닭갈비 덮밥) and JIJIGO gangjung dupbab (닭강정 덮밥) are the absolute best 🤤 The kimchi fried rice with egg is pretty nice too. 진짜 맛있어요! 완전 맛있습니다!!

Not the best Korean food I've had, especially comparing it to Superstar BBQ. They do serve some gooood vegetable mandu (dumplings) and some decent crab claws but I wouldn't recommend this place if you want to eat tasty food.

Their food tastes really good! I'm not from the area, but from now on whenever I am around Mare Street, that's where I will go. All the dishes in the menu are very appealing and choosing is not so easy. Today I had Kimchee fried rice and Gimmari. I haven't eaten this well in a while. Unlike many other Korean eating places, Jijigo offers great value and prices. Can't wait to try something new next time!

I ordered dakgalbi yesterday. The taste is fantastic. It was totally Korean and the service was so kind. The price is not expensive and all the food is wrapped cleanly. I recommend you to keep eating here!!

Yum yum yum. So good. The special with glass noodles is really my favourite but also have had the bulgogi and the rolls and it’s always so good. The lady is really nice and clearly cares a lot about the quality of the food.
