I really enjoyed my night out at The Bottle. The cheese was phenomenal, the charcuterie meat had a few choices that were unlike anything I’d tasted before. The service was excellent. The beef and ham croquettes were excellent! They were happy to bring extra bread and crackers when we needed. I had two glasses of wine which for me is a must with cheese, but I was slightly disappointed they were box wines. They had some fabulous looking drinks on the menu which I did not order but wished I had!

Where to start? 2 cocktails for £12 with generous drink sizes and very original flavours like chili salted glass rims. Delicious food with fresh ingredients, friendly staff, great atmosphere and decor, and very reasonable prices. This is my favourite place to eat and drink in Newquay. Went back the next day. They weren’t open to the public that evening but made space for us anyway. First class experience.

Lovely food, the only little thing was the steak dish was not our preferred.

The Bottle is a great place in Newquay. Ideally located close to the nice part of town. The hot dates, honey and blue cheese is one of the best dish we ve tasted! All the food was great as well as the service. We will come back for sure

An absolute gem in Newquay. Tucked away yet so convenient. Their menu is extensive and you get so much. Wines are amazing and have clearly been thoroughly researched and not at all expensive. It's a perfect spot. Highly recommend!

Went for dinner with friends. Location is away from the hustle and bustle. Really delicious food, great atmosphere and brilliant service. The spider crab croquettes and the dates with whipped feta were especially good! Doggy friendly too! If you're looking for somewhere to chat with friends over some fabulous food I'd highly recommend

Real shame as had a good night a couple of years ago. It felt like I was interrupting a kids shared house who were all on their phones although they were staff. The croquettes tasted like they'd been frozen for too long. The padrons weren't cooked properly. At £35 you get 3 big lumps of cheese and some cuts of meat, which you have to be determined to eat that amount of cheese between 2 people. I'd probably charge £25 and serve half the amount. The meats were good. Avoid the ?njdua? Unless you've had it before, personally I didn't think it was great. Also miscalculated my bill by a few £s, which isnt the end of the world but not very professional.

We came here for a hen do to do wine tasting and we had a fabulous time! The young lady who did the wine tasting was very knowledgable and put up with us being a little excitable. I ordered the crab nachos as pregnant and couldnt eat the Charcuterie and they were suprisingly good. We honestly had a great time. I would say that they could do with an extra member of staff as there were a few tables in and my only gripe was not having plates and empties cleared away a bit quicker. But the ladies were flat out so not their problem a case of needing another bod. I would definitely recommend!

Fabulous find, Chloe was the perfect host, knowledgeable and accommodating, we shared flat bread and dirty Camembert drank a delicious red wine. Highly recommended. Owners… Chloe is a credit to your business

My favourite restaurant of 2022 - loved the food, service, and atmosphere

Such a lovely place to while away a few hours. Great wines, incredible cheese and charcuterie- what’s not to love? It’s topped off by an excellent manager who was charming personified.

Disappointed in our most recent visit. Staff were very friendly as ever but I felt the quality of food was poor and overpriced. Sliced meats were paper thin on the sharing board and the portions of cheese were tiny, the hassle back potatoes with the baked Camembert were hard and unpleasant. Cocktails didn’t wow us either. A sizeable service charge was automatically added to the bill - which considering the excessive prices of the food - felt unfair (and should always be discretionary anyway).

Slightly hidden away from the beaten track you will find a hidden gem. The wine here is just fantastic and Chloe the lovely waitress gave us such a warm welcome. I could not recommend highly enough.

This place is such a gem. Great atmosphere, Beautiful food, lovely wine and cocktails but the best bit is how friendly, helpful and accommodating the staff and owners are. We popped in several times for drinks and they always manage to fit us in, they have offered to move tables if we want to stay longer and when we enjoyed one of their incredible bottomless brunches they could not have been nicer or more accommodating of my 7yr old niece, who obviously couldn’t enjoy the bottomless part of the bottomless brunch. Highly recommend this place.

We’ve been to The Bottle three times already this year, once for my birthday in May, again in August and again this week. We have good friends in Porth and as ‘serial visitors’ several times a year, we love finding new, high-quality intimate places like this. Our friends love it too. It’s such a delightful venue, everything is superb quality and the owners are lovely and very dog-receptive. We’ll be back between Christmas and New Year and so great to see independent businesses like this doing well in the town.

Cosy restaurant, perfect for sharing platters with a great selection of cheeses. Excellent wine and a cute shopping section. Really helpful staff.

Amazing food! Amazing service! Will definitely visit again

My wife and I visited ‘The Bottle’ on a date night and we were very impressed with the service and most importantly the food & wine!! Little gem of a place that didn’t fail to meet our high expectations (following high praised recommendations)

For me this place is perfect for a small group to have some good cheese and meat boards and a glass of wine or a nice beer if cost isn't an issue, the staff are great and friendly, but if your wanting a full on main meal with a few pints this isn't the right place, very pricey

Fantastic cheese and meat selection with amazing nibbles. Wine selection was not the normal selection, it was delicious.
