The Bold Pub in Sefton

As a guest in the hotel we decided to have the carvery. My partner is a meat eater so his meal was fine. I am a veggie. There was no nut roast. I was then informed the only option was veggie sausages which I declined. Apparently there is a problem with the supplier. I think they could out source this issue whilst there is this issue. If there is options for meat eaters there should be a few options for none meat eaters.

Easily one of the best roast dinners you can have out! They’re very generous with their portions and no matter what time of day you go the food always tastes fresh! At a very surprisingly cheap price too I’d recommend this place for anyone who wants a carvery.

Myself and a few friends went for lunch today. We had a great meal - all happy with our food - great service - staff attentive to our needs. Would recommend we had a great time in a happy atmosphere.

Our waiter was super efficient, young lad long black hair. Lunch selection great to much to choose from. Chef was very nice too,served us oaps very well.

We stopped off for some lunch whilst visiting Southport for the day. I ordered the chilli chicken wrap with fries and my husband and dad ordered Ham, egg and chips. Simple food right? We waited so long for our food and when it finally arrived my chilli chicken wrap was so dry and no chilli sauce to be found, the chicken was over cooked too. The ham on the other 2 plates were as tough as old boots with over cooked eggs. Needless to say, we won't be returning

What a lovely night's stay we had at The Bold Hotel. From walking through the door to leaving the next morning we had a wonderful relaxed time. The decor was very appealing. Very niced relaxed atmosphere. The staff were extremely professional,polite and friendly, especially Michael who was lovely. He couldn't do enough to make our time as smooth and carefree. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean. Our room was beautiful. All amenities provided. The bed,duvet and pillows were wonderfully soft and comfortable. Check in on the second floor was easy. In fact we got there early and parked in the small carpark at the back. You need a permit and as we was early one of the staff sorted it out without no issue. We had a "light" lunch. I had the triple decked sandwich which came with french fries. Delicious. My partner had a wrap which also came with french fries. I witnessed a lady having the carvery. I'm surprised she could lift the plate there was so much on it and all of it was served by a member of the kitchen staff not help yourself. It looked fantastic. Criticism but not a criticism . The window of our room was near a fan which was on all night. It wasn't loud but it took us a while to get to sleep. Nothing can be done about it and it wasn't a major issue. We would be more than willing to book into The Bold Hotel again.5*****

Went to there advertised fireworks night tonight after buying drinks was told all tables were booked no reservations signs on tables and told we could sit outside on pavement loads of other families getting the same reception shocking would not return
