Great soup, lovely setting. I think this is a great place for coffee or lunch and would recommend it to everyone. Staff pleasant, cafe clean and bird life to watch too!

1) asked if we could take our dog inside as no shade outside and it was too hot for all of us to sit out. Told by staff we could as long as the dog was on lead. After we all bought our food and drinks advised the dog couldn't stay inside. We refused to leave so the manager came to ask us to go outside, on his way to speak to us he put a sign up saying no dogs inside! We did not go outside safe to say. To be clear I would never take my dog in a cafe without asking if its allowed. 2) cooked food (sausages and salmon) on the hot plates but advised no hot food being served, when asked the cook said they wouldn't waste it but would use it tomorrow! So no hot food despite lots of staff standing around, all miserable and rude. When asked who the coffee was for, a staff member referred to me by pointing and saying "her". 3) chose a buffalo mozzarella, pepper and tomato pasta salad. This was vile, tasteless, overpriced and contained no mozzarella at all. Advised manager during our "discussion" about the dog about this and he did not address it at all or offer either cheese or any refund. Avoid like the plague. Nice view.

Although there is a small menu, the food was so delicious and the staff were so friendly and welcoming, especially the girl bringing with food out. Would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely jubilee afternoon tea picnic from The Boathouse Cafe over the jubilee weekend. We had a little wait whilst our picnic was being made as the sandwiches were made from scratch but this was fine and we could enjoy our lemonades in the sun whilst we waited. The brownie and mini éclairés were delicious and the scone which is prepackaged and not made on site was surprisingly tasty. The gentleman who served us was very friendly and even gave us a free fair trade chocolate bar as compensation for our wait. The only downside was the cappuccino we ordered was incredibly weak and tasted as though the coffee had been forgotten. A great little picnic although quite pricy at £25.00 (not including the coffee) given you only get three very small finger sandwiches per person.

The blond lady needs to improve her customer skills. She ignored me at first and then continued service in unpolite manner.I felt unwelcome. It’s a shame because the cafe looks lovely and has a nice view on the pond. Please improve your service.I don’t normally write reviews but I was really surprised to see such an attitude.

Visited today for breakfast after checking the location on the lake and the nice looking menu on the website. After a long walk to get there, we were told there was no hot food, only pastries and tea/coffee, not becauseof a problem, no explanation, just not on? Wouldn't take long to update the website to save people an unnecessary trip. Coffee we took away was bland too

Not recommending at all. The experience we had was absolutely horrible. The employee working there that day was very rude and impolite, which made our experience very unpleasant. Not recommending

just want to thank Maria who went out of her way to help me and my daughter. i am on supplemental oxygen and clinically very vulnerable, and she gave us our cappuccinos safely so we didn't have to actually come in and risk infections. she was also really friendly. thank you Maria!

Overpriced and bland taste and selection to say the least! The two hot chocolates tasted more like soap than chocolate and the 1 baguette and 1 toasted sandwich that both were completely bland and stingy with fillings came to £17.85 which is gobsmacking, even in London! Don’t even bother.

Though not variety of food to offer, I must say that the moment you entered this cafe - you have this happy vibes sort of feeling. The staff very friendly, helpful and always smile. We ordered coffee and chocolate muffin (delish!!!) It's great place to have a quick break in the Regent's park

This place is very bad. I bought a falafel and hummus rap, it was only mashed chickpeas and very little salad. My friend bought a salad, the portion was ridiculously small and the coffee was disgusting. The place was dirty and staff were terrible. Don’t think about going there at all.

I didn’t eat or drink here as EVERYTHING is served is paper or plastic. Not good enough. I think The Royal Parks should be doing better......especially when next to the lake and so much wildlife.......

Lovely place to have a meal, hot drink and a good quality pastry, halal options are available. Food is fresh and staff are really helpful and friendly. Seating is available inside and out. Great for a family day out with reasonable prices, ducks to feed and peace and quite to be found in the middle of Londons hustle and bustle.

The staff are very quick at delivering food/ beverages and the queueing time is short. However, I ordered a Jacket potato with cheese and it came without cheese; I told this to the server and he came back with my correct order but seemed a little off. Then I asked for some salt and he seemed irritated; like I was an inconvenience. I understand that they are busy but customers cannot accesss salt on a table; the server usually brings it with the meal. Nonetheless, the food was good.

Looks nice from the outside but will not be going back ordered breakfast of scrambled eggs which were awful cooked to death in a microwave! Severed with a lump of butter to butter my bread! Flat white was more like a shot of espresso with a topping of foathed Mik that would be a cappuccino will not be returning a rip off at £8.40

Went to the Henry Holland for a drink with some work colleagues, first drink out in almost a year and we got seated upstairs. A group of 3 middle aged/elderly ladies sitting near us took offence to our volume and apparent high morale and reported to the landlord that one out or group flashed his penis ( didn’t happen) with one side of the story we were then refused service and the other party left the bar anyway. Bar staff were fine.Won’t be back tho.The also had CCTV that could have been checked but wasn’t.
