Called in for a coffee! as in the area. Had a bowl of chips as they looked good. Ended up with the most delicious ice cream, which is made by them. Staff lovely and will definitely go back when next in the area.

Visited this cafe for a takeaway panini and chips. No exagiration, I waited a full hour for this. The cafe was not buzy and the small amount of eating in customers had eaten their food already so there was no excuse to wait this long. I would advise to call and collect order. However the steak sandwich was nice. I would get this again but by calling first to save this very long wait.

We called into the cafe for breakfast after we had been swimming in the open air pool. We both decided on the full breakfast, it was delicious, the atmosphere was nice with friendly service and staff,

Just a good old fashioned cafe serving good food, icecreams, cakes etc. A nice sitting area outside and a few tables inside. My kids loved their milkshakes on a very hot day! Would recommend.

We were passing by & stopped off for a quick snack. Friendly, efficient staff & excellent covid preventative measures in place. Good chips, served quickly. Biscoff milkshake was big & delicious as was the carrot cake. Nice strong coffee. Excellent value for money. We'd definitely return for lunch if we are ever on the area again.

Lovely friendly waitress..veg soup like dish water.. tasteless! Cheapest bread for sandwiches. Expect if your paying nearly £6 it should be on nicer bread.

Passer-by recommended this cafe (not from this area) and we were not disappointed. The moment we opened the door and took our pram in the two girls were so welcoming and friendly. Our food of sandwiches and chips were tasty and good portion sizes. Ice cream, snowball and raspberry sauce were delicious . Loved the nice strong coffee in big cups. No rushing us out the door even although it was a Saturday late on. Will be visiting when in the area again.

This is a popular little cafe with ice cream to die for. Perfect on sunny days as it has a little outdoor area. Friendly staff and good food.

Popped in and were made very welcome by the owner and her staff. We both ordered soup and it was the best soup outside of our own home that we had ever tasted. The minestrone was so tasty as was the ham broth that my husband chose. Perfectly seasoned, piping hot and a nice bread roll on the side. It may have been a little cold outside but we couldn't resist an ice cream each and these too were very good. We will be back to try other items from the menu.

We recently enjoyed ice creams and coffees while sitting outside this lovely small cafe one sunny Saturday afternoon. We were served by a friendly, efficient girl. The ice cream was delicious. They also have a snack menu which is affordable and adequate for a lunch.

I feel the bluebird cafe is great for ice cream, and ice cream only. If you’re ordering food here, the service is terrible. I’ve ordered take away food twice now, where I thought the first experience was maybe just a one off. We ordered 2 basic take away panini’s and there was maybe 2 other people waiting on food so the place wasn’t overly busy - however these panini’s took over 31 mins. I asked twice about when to expect my food as I thought maybe they forgot, until I realised this was the same type of wait I had the first time I ordered a take away. For the price at over £7 for two basic panini’s with over a half hour wait was very disappointing.

Lovely little cafe which has been there since I've been a child, new owners, bought a tub of ice cream for my niece which was £1.90, the ice cream is lovely but the price for a container this size is a rip off , maybe 4 table spoons of ice cream in the smallest plastic tub (dipping sauce size) , to show how small the tub is I've put a couple of pictures on.

This is a well established ice cream parlour -their ice cream is delicious . In recent years the cafe has been refurbished under the new ownership and has a small sit in area serving breakfast /lunch and snacks as well as well as take away food and their wonderful ice cream .When weather permits there is an outdoor seating area . Always a couple of home made soups on offer as well as baked potatoes ,sandwiches .pasta dishes etc freshly made to order . They also have a nice selection of sweets from the old fashioned sweetie jars -takes me back to my childhood ! A wee gem of a place with lovely friendly staff .

Decent food at a reasonable price. I can recommend the Cheese and Onion Pie, and as for the Chocolate Brownies, delicious! Attached to the Premier Inn next door.

A good little café, that does a roaring trade in takeaway food. Any time I have been there at lunchtime, there is always a queue for their soup and rolls which are very good and reasonably priced.
