I had the garlic chilli chicken masala. It was unreal, I highly recommend this place.

Slow service. Dissapointing main, the tandori king prawn main sad 3 king prawns and a dried up salad for £15.95 , food was lukewarm due to a lack of staff on duty. Chutney dishes were mediocre poppadoms nice and crispy but I don't think I'll be returning The waiter tried his hardest but the experience was not the best. Expensive for nothing special. I feel our waiter felt this too. Not his fault

Instead of 9 pieces of meat I got 4! And they still charge £15 for what is basically sauce. Gone downhill majorly. Will never use again or my families.

Date night dinner before a movie at The Regal and first since this place has changed hands. Staff super friendly and attentive and the food experience absolutely amazing and delicious 😋 - we'll be back and would recommend.

Food was really really good and flavourful! We went for a trip and couldn’t find a halal place to eat and they didn’t disappoint! They are fully halal. Very welcoming and friendly.

I've only ever tasted one other Indian as good as this and that was Hussains in weston-super-mare 😋 there is no other Indian I would rather eat. We've eaten in and had a take out and both was delicious

I saw on Facebook that this place was having a "Grand Opening" on Father's Day. I thought it would be something different so why not. I am not sure that my wife and daughters, son in law and granddaughter appreciated the 70 mile round trip but "it was my day and my rules." We hadn't got a clue what to expect but as we entered we were warmly greeted, with the strains of a very accomplished violinist in the background. There's a first time for everything. It was when we were seated opposite the Lord and Lady Mayor (plus some rather nice looking desserts in the window) that I realised the guys here were making a big effort. Unsurprisingly it was rammed, which can be a bit of a worry as the food and service can suffer but pleased to say that they were on the ball. OK we might have been slightly carried away by the occasion but we had a great time. Nothing at all lacking with the service, food and of course there was a very 'conducive' atmosphere. This was further aided by an extremely talented close up magician, I am not easily impressed but this guy was a cut above. I wish I could give him and the violinist a plug. It's a Bangladeshi restaurant, sister to the well regarded Thespian in Stratford on Avon. The menu is therefore instantly recognisable as typical of many restaurants and the food is up there with the best. Even a particularly fussy daughter and 2 year old granddaughter enjoyed it. The photos will tell you more than I can. In a nutshell, moist chicken and very flavoursome. The bill was quite reasonable and I am definitely returning if I'm in the area after 6.00pm. I am thinking that this restaurant may be under new ownership rather than a new venture, I am sure much will have changed with the food so I would be interested to know what the locals make of it. There is a lot of competition in the area and this is a good thing provided there is enough custom. A night to remember for us.

Iqy and his crew are new owners at The Blue Lagoon. While the decor hasn't evolved yet, the food and service are excellent! Only opened in mid June but serving beautiful Bangladeshi food. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely meal here. The menu is 'original' and we would especially recommend the fish dishes. Service was both professional and friendly, the plates, glassware and ambience are clean and stylish. And it is not expensive!

The order was missing 2 x garlic rice. Phoned and was told the restaurant was closed and they would look at it tomorrow. Not much help when we are eating tonite! It’s a shame as the food received was good, but the service aspect wasn’t. Wouldn’t recommend or use again based on that

Visited last night for the first time. Food was excellent with generous portions. All staff were very friendly and welcoming. I will return and am happy to recommend.

We went last weekend to visit The Blue Lagoon and it was a terrific experience! The staff were very friendly and the owner, Mr Islam, was so welcoming and friendly too. We ate the chicken stir fry and beef biriyani and it was excellent and at a reasonable price point. They even treated us to some complimentary coffee and soft drinks! The atmosphere was nice and cosy. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I have just ordered a takeaway and requested that none of it has peanuts as I have an allergy. I was so specific to the point they asked if ‘almond dust’ in the lamb korma is fine. Having taken my first bite I immediately had an allergic reaction. The guy on the phone just said oh the waiter must not have understood what you were saying. What’s the point in stating you have an allergy?! Eating here seems to be a risk if you do…

The restaurant ascetically looks good. Customer service not their strong point from walking in - they all seemed peed off! We ordered two curries mine was okay, my partners was hotter (peppers) than she normally has it but she persevered all the same but it got to the point that we had to order some ice water. The waiter that we gave the order walked past at on two occasions with jugs of water - for other tables and in the end we had to ask another waiter. On finishing, my partner left some of her chicken dish as it was too hot so we decided to let the waiter (owner?) know that the dish that she normally have did not come "vindaloo" style to which he proceeded to lean over the table, thrust his hand in my partners dish and squish the chicken - we were both gobsmacked and so my wife to clarify any misunderstanding stated that it was too hot and her mouth was still burning! His response - nothing!! We requested the bill and he had the cheek to suggest that we left him a tip of 5%, 10% or 15%. These guys simply don't get customer service, manners or the fact that you earn a tip for the for-mentioned.

Good vegetarian options! Takeaway ready in 30mins. Generous portions and piping hot. Enjoyed the mushroom dishes,especially the aloo garlic mushrooms! But the vegetable curry was disappointing as it only had tinned vegetables in it. Kind staff, would use again if back in area.

Charged £60 for 2 small starters 2 even smaller mains 5 bits of chicken in my chicken tikka and 3 drinks. Absolutely terrible well over priced. Staff were friendly but tried charging us for drinks we didn’t have. Will never recommend or be going here again.

I dined at the Blue Lagoon restaurant in Evesham twice last week. Both visits were a big success. The food was excellent and very good value for money. The most impressive feature were the staff. Without exception they were very attentive and made you feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend and if I return that way, will visit again.

We were able to book by phone since the online system wasn't working, so that was great. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. Beer was expensive but kind of expected that. The staff were lovely and attentive but service was slow and we waited a while for our food. However, management was really apologetic and mentioned they had new staff. We weren't in a hurry so it didn't bother us. We'd go there again and would recommend it to others. Major advantage to us was being a five minute walk from our hotel! 😊

Got a takeaway and it was absolutely delicious. Good selection of Bollywood music videos while waiting for the food. We had a chicken korma and chicken tikka biryani which had a nice homemade touch. Really recommend.

Visiting the Evesham area and staying at a local hotel that recommended the Blue Lagoon. Great recommendation. Staff all very friendly, not rushed, polite, and just made the meal venue very pleasurable. We ordered upon their suggestion their set meal for 2. This starts with a couple of poppadoms with associated mixes, followed by a mixed starter selection of salmon meat chicken, and then the main meal of rice, beef and chicken curry, nan and sag barge. In all I must say one of the best Curry's I have had in ages. Quality was good as the mixture.of spices spot on. And to finish coffee and mints. And the even better value was the price. The set meal is only £34.50 plus drinks. Yes I would re recommend the Blue Lagoon to anyone.

Menu has some unusual items on it as well as the more traditional choices. The decor is very pleasant, spotlessly clean. Food is excellent, and the service was very friendly and efficient.

Really lovely food here, good prices and generous portions. The atmosphere was good; kind and attentive staff. We ordered vegetable dishes and every one was full of flavour. We'll definitely be coming here again because the menu was so varied we'd love to try more of their food! Recommended very highly! You can park at the Riverside Car Park in the day, or at the local Aldi in the evenings. Less than five minutes' walk from each.
