Utterly scrumptious menu...there's quite literally nothing I wouldn't eat time after time! The whole staff are all so welcoming and warm - and committed to providing a top rate service. It's always wonderful to see how busy this local cafe is - showing how much of a treasure it has become in our landscape! Truly embodies the best of what it means to be a 'family business' and in my opinion will always beat any rival 'chain' cafe! On busy days, or around lunchtime, it's always worth a quick phonecall in case they're really busy....but I think the wait is so worth it!

Used the room upstairs for a wake of 30+ people. Sophie and the staff looked after us brilliantly. The food was amazing and the staff were extremely attentive taking orders for drinks which included tea and coffee to order. There was also a nice selection of beers and wine available. The food and drink was replenished regularly. I can recommend the sausage rolls, quiche, ham & cheese croissants and muffin scones. Sophie was extremely helpful when we were looking for a suitable venue from our initial enquiry to the event itself and made a very difficult day very easy and enjoyable for our family and friends. Top marks all round and thank you.

Thanks blue bicycle for a special birthday breakfast today. The cupcake was beautifully presented. 2 of us are vegan and you are the best in Neston for us -the vegan breakfast is fabulous. There are less lunch options for me (fussy vegan who doesn't like avocado or mushrooms) so a bit more choice at lunch would be amazing. 4 stars rather than 5 given for atmosphere as we found upstairs far too noisy, there was a big group up there, some rugs / curtains would help up there with the noise. We moved outside, which was lovely. Overall a really enjoyable experience, thanks!👍

Fabulous family run coffee shop with great cakes and food. The staff are friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

I've just had lunch here after a walk. It was my first visit but not my last, I hope. I sat outside in a courtyard with lovely planters and hanging baskets and ordered the homemade quiche. It was served with a fantastic salad, so much more than the limp lettuce/tomato/cucumber offering you often get in cafés. The quiche itself was absolutely delicious and a big slice too! Coffee was also excellent.

Ordered a coffee and walnut cake for my wife’s 60th birthday and it was absolutely fabulous. Very moist sponge with great taste and the coffee/walnut cream was to die for and I’m ultra fussy about cake ! Great cake and great value as well, I’ll be back soon Peter

We go every christmas with family in the room upstairs. Food is good, service is great, clean, and coffee is really nice.

We came in once, a couple of years ago but the danish pastries were stale, and even the replacement was so didn’t go back, until last week when I went with my brother and sister in law for a catch up. We were directed to a table by the waitress, pleasant enough. Tea cakes were ok, but after about 40 mins the waitress came to the table and said ‘ by the way, this table is booked, now’. No apology or explanation. We got up and left, we were going to have another drink but didn’t bother at this point, decided to go across the road to Elephant Cafe. I mentioned that the table should have been marked or explained when we came in and had at least an apology. The guy behind the counter was really apologetic, absolutely no issues there, but then the waitress came across and asked what was wrong. Explained again that she had put us on the table, did not explain that it had been booked out or apologised. Her response, ‘ you can sit upstairs’ ! Needless to say we will not be going back

Just had a fabulous lunch. Food superb. The quiche was the best I have ever had. The Earl Grey tea was delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Poor choice of food, we opted for the spinach and potato soup which tasted as bad as it looked and caused indigestion later.... maybe needs to offer 2 options in soups.

Our second visit with a month as the blue bicycle is a very nice place for food, and service. I had the Breakfast Bloomer without a fried egg (see picture) it was perfect

Meet up once a week with friends for coffee. Very friendly and attentive staff. The back courtyard is a great hub. The whole atmosphere is very welcoming, and being able to take your furry family in is a bonus. I do not have a sweet tooth, but the home made cakes are a work of art! Great to see good vegetarian and vegan options too. Always busy- which reflects all the hard work and dedication that obviously goes into this lovely family run bistro. Consistently good service even if you only have a coffee, which is why folk return.

Can't speak highly enough consistent great service and food and pleased the outside dining area helped them through a hard time keep it up guys.

Lovely family-owned cafe in Neston. Offering GF, vegan and vegetarian options. Lovely inside with upstairs seating. It was quite busy when I arrived but still managed to get a seat. Ordered green tea and halloumi wrap. To avoid vegans paying more for less- would recommend adding a scrambled tofu to replace egg available in veggie breakfast.

A cozy little cafe with a lively atmosphere and lots of great food on the menu, excellent and attentive staff who have time for everyone, including your four-legged pals. Met a friend here. We ordered tea and dessert. The cafe window is always decorated differently, and the design is always amazing!)

Had a lovely steak ciabitta sandwich for £11.50 and a pot of tea.tea could have been a bit hotter but food was delicious.

Luv this place. Have mainly had vegee breakfasts and cakes. The breakfasts beat the competition with fried potato, a bit of rocket and sausage which arent made to mimick the meat counterpart Staff always attentive and pleasant. Friendly yet professional. Lots of upstairs seating too.

Amazing food and really friendly staff! The seating area out the back is a great addition and a lovely sun trap! Have eaten breakfast and lunches here and always a winner. All staff are always really knowledgeable about allergy information too.

The people who work there help make this place feel so friendly and welcoming. Then you get the very fresh and tasty food, so my mum and I had a lovely time chatting away. A great place to have on my doorstep here in Neston.

Staff were very attentive and came back promptly to take our orders. Only had coffee and cake but both were lovely and reasonably priced!

We popped in here for tea and cake after a long walk along the marshes. Best tea I have ever had. Early grey tea in a pot. Homemade cakes are yummy. Only gripe was that there were no vegan cakes available for my daughter.

Very helpful and friendly staff on what was a difficult day. I had gluten free tuna mayo sandwich which was a bit dry - GF bread is notoriously dry so I would recommend you use additional mayo or add butter. The green tea was amazing, and there was a nice fresh side salad with the sandwich.

Wow, what a find. Love this little cafe, slightly off beaten tract, but not that far, only couple of mins from centre of Liverpool. Only had a drink here, but food looked lovely. Also great little shop with local artists products, jewelry etc. Well worth a visit

Great place for lunch. Quality of the food is very good. Although portion on the small side for the price. Great staff, all super friendly and work really hard up and down all the stairs! Upstairs dining area is a great spot.

Clean establishment and nice breakfast  regrettably ruined by irresponsible dog owners allowing their annoying animals to bark, whine and annoy people. With the exception of guide dogs, no others should be allowed in any premises that serve food. There is an upstairs area where dogs are not permitted so you can enjoy dining in peace.

Great little cafe for a quick cuppa with a friend or a lunch date. Seating around the back, upstairs or downstairs, so make sure you coordinate about where you'll meet up! If you sit around the back you may need to go in at the front to order (you get to the back outdoor area by going down the side of the opticians). Dog friendly, too. Been many times, and no doubt will go many more. In my opinion, far preferable to the nearby chain coffee shop, especially for lunch and options for food intolerances. Great place.

Food was over cooked and was disgusting. I can't belive I paid £20 for two full English breakfasts, not only that it was a kids portion in a small box. Unreal I will not be going back here 🤮

The Blue Bicycle came recommended by a friend in work. I took my Son and Mum for lunch, the cafe is located in the centre of Neston. Free parking available a short distance away in a nearby carpark. I booked a table in advance which was straight forward and easy enough. We arrived early and our table was ready. The staff where really friendly and chatty. We each opted for a sandwich, I had soup with mine. It was thick, tasty and full of flavour. The sandwiches where all freshly prepared and came with a colourful side salad. We all enjoyed our food, a really lovely cafe to drop by for lunch. The cakes looked yummy, maybe next time as I'd promised my son an ice cream at Parkgate, which was about a 20 minute walk away

The Blue Bicycle was the latest café in our ongoing (and completely anecdotal) tour of Wirral breakfast venues. It was very impressive indeed, and has probably risen to first place of the ten or so cafés we have tried thus far. The English breakfast was superb, each food item perfectly cooked and of a very high standard. Only the hash brown was average, the rest, amazing quality, the bacon deserves a special mention. The coffee (latte and cappuccino) was spectacularly good too, easily the best we've tried so far. Prices were at the top end compared with other venues, but worth every penny.

Delightful garden to rear..covered for all weather's so I didn't have to sit inside. Clean fresh and really great service. I had an all day breakfast which was superb. I won't describe it. just challenge you to try it..you'll love it..👏👏👏

We sat outside in the shade on the bench, very relaxing, had a lovely lunch & iced latte, service excellent. Well worth a visit.

Too expensive now & the limited menu hasn’t changed for many months. It’s an ok place but just for coffee. There’s a great food place just around the corner so they need to improve. I recall the days of freshly made fish pie but now the food is expensive for what it is & as mentioned, the menu never seems to change. Once I ordered soup & it was served with the ends of a hovis loaf.

just been for breakfast for the first time in this cafe £28 for 2 breakfasts 1 sausage 1 egg dried microwaved beans cheep nasty bread very disappointed and low quality.

Ssshh, my best kept secret cafe can't be contained any longer! Fabulous food, creative, tasty, appetizing their salads are gorgeous with a twist of melon. This is our favourite go to place to eat when we are over the water, distance is no object for food this good! The serving staff are really friendly and it all adds to the atmosphere of this gem of a cafe.

Lovely, friendly atmosphere. The soup was vegan - parsnip and apple, and they even had vegan butter for the bread!

Sat upstairs by the window, in a beautifully decorated dining room. Lovely fresh food, good selection of teas and coffees. The staff are what makes this lovely place so warm and welcoming - happy, friendly and able to cope in a busy environment, without getting flustered or losing any charm or grace! Can't wait to go back!

Family run cafe/coffee shop in the heart of Neston. Had a oat latte and tuna melt ciabatta. Big space with lots of customers. Open 8:30 - 4:30 each day with lots of freshly baked cakes.
