Slow service. 1 member of staff on a busy Saturday teatime

We visited the pub before going to a local event. The woman behind the bar was very unwelcoming. There were a group of five local racists in the pub trying to offend a group of black people who were minding their own business, having a quiet drink. Nothing was done about it. We left our drinks and the pub. Disgusting place.

Rude landlady rude staff dirtylooking stairs to toilets dirty plus a altercation between management and regular won't be going back

Nothing like what I remember it being like. Was once 1 of busiest pubs in town

Be careful on this pub later on, Door staff have very bad Communication skills and proceed to threaten you throughout the night even after leaving the venue. Land lady said I was too drunk to have another which was fair enough but the way the bouncer handled it was like if just committed an offence like no other… avoid avoid avoid !!!!!

Stop in for one with friends and family a couple of the girls went to toilet together and yeh the shouldnt gone to the disabled toilet so apologise for that but then caused them of doing drugs and were not about that theres personal reasons as too why we actually lost a family member to drugs so we dont touch them anyway and owner came out and was shouting at us to get out ive never been there in my life before i know were young and people assume stuff i worked in bars before but to me this is out of order ive not even touched them and as a customer got chucked out not been out in town for agers and honestly do not recommend if youre young stay away youll just get accused of drugs i didnt even go toilet

Lively karaoke bar, gets loud and noisy very early! Not for me but was busy so they must be doing something right.

When I asked for a drink, yes, it was given to me, but when I asked what products were used (because I am allergic to some things), the woman who served me screamed at me. She shouted at me that I could get drunk on anything, no matter what type of alcohol. Needless to say how I felt. I just left.

This is a decent bar that you should add on your pub crawl in Chesterfield.

A pub is always judged by its clientele & as always this was full.

Just walked in nobody in side ask for some Dance tranx. But dj says we don’t do that

What you see is what you get. I went in at 5:30pm and it was banging with Karaoke and card bingo for money prizes. The beer is cheap and the clientele are of the older age (60s) and were all well oiled. A man was selling "fake Primark" out of a bag LOL. Not for anyone dressed up xx

Starter was not cooked right for my mate the brought mains before I finished eating my starter and took my plate away and my mates mains wasn't what she order

First time I have been in the Bell for 30 years, pleasantly surprised, stayed for a couple of hours.

Friendly staff who acknowledge your preference of drink, therefore the service to get another drink is quick.. Staff are always polite and due to popping into the pub regularl, I am always greeted by my first name.. Friday Nights there is Karaoke 🎤 🎶 🎵 Disabled Access and Toilet... Massive TV's with Football on display and 🐎 horse racing and Cricket... etc

Bouncers just blocking the door as we entered so we had to walk around them. No real ales on at all..and what's happened to all the TV's coz there is no way you can watch the footie as they are all fuzzy and no sound. Used to enjoy it in here but won't be going back in for a while

I really liked this pub. Lots of football fans in. Reasonable prices. But more than anything else. Very friendly people here. If you're on the way to the football ground I would recommend stopping here for a pre-match drink.

Amber Taverns establishment more of a locals pub shows live sport and karaoke is returning soon prices are very reasonable good location wish they'd extend hours at the weekend but you can't have everything

It's one of our regular drop ins when in town and we are always served in a timely manner. Just wish we where charged the same price everytime we order a round.

Typical English pub. In the good sense of the word. A large selection of alcohol, many TVs (mainly "English" sports), and above all, a dartboard hanging on the wall. You know what... It makes you want to play. In addition, a few meters from the pub there are several stops, thanks to which you can get to various places around Chesterfield (if someone does not live there). Just like the author of the opinion. All in all, I recommend it 👍.

Average town pub very cheep beer and ciders. Great for sport plenty of TV SHOW
