You really need to check how you price impromptu requests. 2 slices of toast (which my wee one decided she didn't want to eat) £3.95. This, when chicken nuggets and chips on the menu are only 55p more at £4.50. So, I asked for 2 bananas... £2.00.

Food is absolutely delicious. Fresh ingredients, great portion sizes. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful food, i recommend the all day breakfast. Fresh looking salad and very clean. The only negative is the ocean terminal ambience. Absolutely delicious and more than value for money.

Great wee eating place. Proper tasty honest food with a good selection from coffee and patisseries to wholesome jacket potatoes and salad; Greek salads to burgers and fries. Staff friendly and efficient and good value for money. Would come hear and not bland limited Starbucks everytime!

Can only share my own experience, but everything is great, the coffee, food, and view. Staff are friendly.

Visited this nice place today with my wife and kids and staff were toally amazing. Coffee was perfect and the hospitality was just so good- their turkish baklava was delish!! I recommended everyone to visit Blasta Bistro Attached a pic of our coffee and baklava devoured because it was so good

Dude really not very friendly, kinda rude. No wonder he's empty and next door McChans is rammed.

I’ve travelled in many places in the world, but this has to be one of the worst food I have tasted. Everything tastes like cardboard, no sauce, no salt, the steak was horrible and fat. The staff was polite.

We visited here this morning and it was fantastic! The staff were so friendly and helpful. My Dad has recently had to start using a wheelchair and they carried our items to the table, moved chairs for us etc All our food and drinks were excellent and we will definitely be back. Thanks again Lynne

My friend and I came for a cup of coffee and the view after a busy hour at the car boot sale. We weren't expecting anything special, but the coffee was utterly delicious - one of the best I've had in 40 years of living in Edinburgh - the view was brilliant, and the service was charming. We will definitely be back. The food menu looked good, so we'll come for a meal next time.

Chicken burger was a joke - bun with chicken cutlet. No sauce, no vegetables inside. You could pour yourself ketchup and mayo inside. Fries with no salt. View on the sea is debatable. Do not go here, much better options nearby.

The sea view is the only good thing . However the business have blocked the full stretch of the promenade so you can't walk fully out and enjoy the sea breeze. This business served Greek coffee for near to £4 and the serving of coffee was miserly and heavily watered down. It was poorly made . They also gave me a cold cup when I dared to request that the cup be warmed . The owner sitting with his family ordered a hard working women out to seek further justification from myself . I felt it was interrogatory. When the waiter who looked like he does not like his job had already rectified the issue with no drama. I'm surprised at the poor quality of non indigenous establishment within the food court of Ocean Terminal dark and dinky . The place has down at luck feel about it. Why did they not turn it into some tea rooms or something which has greater relevance to Scottish or British naval history port history or the docks of Leith ????? . Why the heck does Ben McPherson get huge sums of public money for doing what for Leith exactly ??? If you go to Portsmouth you can find cafes selling Pasties near the port side. A soul less vibe post globalisation vibe seems to permeate . The people who run this centre must be without local pride . The SNP are national scammers and really have no national pride . This is a place of national and historical significance and one for a great potential in terms of visitors to Leith. Yet it left to drift with high prices and a uninviting ambiance .

It's a really nice food down there but an owner doesn't give you option to pay by cash 💸 and freedome of choice to pay that way !!!! So it's a big NO I was about to give a tip to their stuff but I also disagree that tips should be taxed for employees when they work for minimum wage !!! I do support cash payments!!! No to virtual transfers and additional transfer fees from our businesses !!! Thank you

Pathetic food ever after eating I started feeling stomach aches

The food was awful! Moussaka a soggy, tasteless mess and very overpriced! Houmous bland. Pesto wrap was dripping in oil. Service cold and unfriendly. Server came to table to take payment before food had arrived. Can understand why now!

AWFUL FOOD! Ordered a bacon and tomato panini; specifically asked for no lettuce due to not being able to eat it and this was reiterated twice by the woman who took my order and myself. Order arrived as a dry panini, filled with boiling lettuce, tomato and dry fatty bacon; with cold, stale dry chips. I removed the lettuce and tomato, then had a few bites and struggled to swallow those! Thus resorted to eating the bacon in between some flatbread that my partner offered me. She ordered a vegan mezze; the hot food was just reheated and not cooked through properly. This is the worst meal I have ever had out and wouldn't even consider calling it a meal as the food was not made fresh and was inedible! Alongside it being quite expensive for shop bought rewarmed food, it is £27 (1 panini, 1 mezze, can of coke and a double espresso) I will never see again. Would avoid at all costs and seriously consider heading to Starbucks, Frankie & Bennies or Zizzi's which are a few feet away.

Good coffe, horrible, tasteless stale carrot cake. Nice coffee and my son was served a cartoon of Lidl apple juice. Difficult to recommend given its in Ocean terminal

staff are lovely and helpful .. great choice of menu big portions and great price ... plenty of tasty cakes and pastries especially their home made fruit scones (yummy) the feta cheese and spinach panini with black olives chips and side salad is one of my favourite dishes or the chicken burger with chips and side salad absolutely amazing plenty choice of beverages or even different flavours of smoothies (freshly made) love their hot chocolate is rather creamy!!

Very good and friendly customer service on site. All meals tasted very good View is amazing on the sea site I recommend the place to everyone .

Everything was great. The waiters were very friendly and polite. We went to see the royal yacht and we recommend this authentic cafe, just one floor down, to everyone.

Had a great meal here today. The authentic eastern Mediterranean cuisine was just what I was needing and the coffee was superb. The staff couldn’t have been more pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

Great views over the water and the food was fantastic. Had the mezze plate and everything was delicious and tasted home made and authentic (although I'm no expert, don't come at me!). Bought spanikopita, baklava and cakes to bring home and just had them for dinner. Brilliant. Loved it!

Ordered sharing cheese nachos that coat £6.95. Arrived and the tiniest portion of cheese was so overcooked. Portion size was about the same as a small bag of crisps. Rip off :(

I bought a vegetarian mezze. I bought it a few times and has always been a big hit in our family. This time I could taste the difference of the bread heated up in the microwave, becoming soggy and crewy instead of the grill or oven as it had been in previous times. The food arrived fast, which I appreciate but I would prefer to wait a bit longer and have the food heated up the proper and safest way. This is just constructive criticism as the food has always been nice and we still really like the place above all of the other ones in ocean terminal.

Greek gyros and "Greek iced coffee" not authentic at all and overpriced. Freddo cappuccino is not freddo cappuccino so shouldn't be advertised as that. It was just an iced latte.

I think my star says it all AVOID this place. The food is awful! And the wee waiter has weeman syndrome.

Just had an amazing breakfast, bacon and pancakes, yoghurt with honey and walnuts and an egg and sausage roll. Food and coffee was fantastic and staff very welcoming.

Ordered Steak Beef Burger. Thought with the reference to Mediterranean cuisine that this place would be something special. How wrong I was. The burger was super thin very salty and obviously poor cheap quality. The reference to steak was very misleading. This was served on a dry very white bun which wasn't buttered, no lettuce, tomato, or burger sauce just burger/bread. There was a side salad which I used to construct the burger something like I expected but it was still nasty. Pass the indigestion tablets please! . Once I had used the side salad I realised it came with about 5 chips. What a disappointing experience. I've had better burgers from a fairground caravan.

Honest Greek fayre. We ordered the mousaka and a chicken burger. Both very good and good value. Nice place to sit looking over the bay at Newhaven harbour.

Just had my breakfast in this cafe . I asked for a poached egg and I got something not sure if there's a name yet . Will not go back again. Wasn't a good food too .

Worst "cooked" food I have ever been aerved Luckily I was sat next to the dustbin, where my food ended up pretty swiftly. One member of my party had to send theirs back and get a refund as what was served was visibly ghastly. It seems that there is no cook or somebody is just winging it as whoever is making the food has either no experience or no pride.
