Came here after the beautiful arsenal win on wednesday, love the decor, vibes were incredible and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful (lost my passport and they managed to to reunite us 😭😭) thanks again team can't wait to be back !

My son (19) and I arrived in Finsbury looking for decent pub to base our sporting weekend around. We happened upon the Blackstock and called in for an afternoon pint whilst making plans and stayed for the rest of the day to watch the Ireland/England rugby. We then, on recommendation from the lovely landlady ordered an amazing Yard Sale pizza to our table. We were welcomed back the next day on an Arsenal match day and included with other fans and regulars for the rest of the day, including being welcomed back for the post match celebrations. We found the staff were welcoming and engaging, service was prompt and attentive and the door staff were genuinely friendly and helpful all weekend. Great selection of craft beer on tap and the best Guinness we had all weekend. Will definitely be back if in the area again. A fantastic, no nonsense, well run, gimmick free pub -highly recommended.

Perfect location! Situated in Finsbury Park with great choice of transport. A very friendly ambience and caring staff. Cozy, Clean, Warm and Safe place to go on a day or night out. Has outdoor seating and a DJ. One can order pizza. Very clean and well maintained restrooms. At the BlackStock, it is not just about the great selection of drinks; it's the cozy chats, match days, late night dancing ...The BlackStock is a Community.

Had a friends birthday and came to the Blackstock and had a great night served with very high professionalism and welcoming atmosphere but lost my flat keys and coat wich was returned thanks to the the kind person to hand it in and the staff for letting me know it had been handed in

Another fantastic night at the Blackstock! A group of friends met up for a mini college reunion and we had a great time. The owners are so wonderful—warm and welcoming and totally invested in everyone having a lovely, safe time in their pub. The decor is eclectic and stylish, the cocktails delicious and dancing into the night was an unexpected treat. Highly recommend!!!

We had a party here for my wifes 60th. The night could not have gone better. Darlene who looked after us from our initial converstation through to the event on the night could not have done more for us. On arrival she asked if we wanted some presecco for the table. There were about 20 of us there for the party, so I said yes maybe a couple of bottles, assuming that I was buying these. But Darlene would not let me pay for these as it was her way of helping us celebrate the night.. To be clear we did not have the whole pub and never intended to. The pub was open to the public, we just had a table by the DJ at the front of the dance floor. The pub is a very lively place once it gets started. It was super busy but I have never been in a pub where the bar staff are so on top of things. Getting served, even though it was really busy, was never an issue and we were not getting specialy treatment. I was watching the staff at one point and they did not stop! Bar staff 20 out of 10, if you are reading this you are rockstars! The night went well and we all felt very safe. Finsbury park is not the greatest of areas but Darlene and her staff take security and safety very seriously. The security guys were 100% paying attention and you felt looked after. I 100% hand on heart recconded the Blackstock for a secial drink or a good night out, regardless of age. Our crowd ranged from early 20's to me at the top end 65... We loved it.. The crowd there was a mixed bag of ages all just wanting to have fun, no agro! To the Blackstock team, thank you soo much we will see you again in the future.. Keithx

Went to the Blackstock for a friends birthday. From the minute we arrived to departing in the early hours, it was a fantastic experience. The team were welcoming, created a safe environment and engaged with us throughout the night. The music was fantastic, eclectic and dancing/singing encouraged. I absolutely loved it and would advise anyone celebrating to book a table and have a wonderful time.

If you are going to an Arsenal game this is the pub to go to! The best atmosphere, and the staff are lovely! I left my coat behind, they responded to my message straight away and have kept hold of my coat for me! I couldn’t be more thankful!

Amazing after a matchday or for a night out

A gem of a place in the heart of Finsbury Park. The staff are friendly and personable and you often get greeted by the bar manager or owner. They make you feel very welcome. There are bouncers in the door who are also friendly. They do not make you feel intimidated by their presence and will often chat and have friendly banter with you. The bar itself always has a happy crowd, although it is an Arsenal pub in match days, so avoid if they are not your team. There is always music playing, it's nicely decorated with lights and a variety of different tables and couches to enjoy your drinks at and has a DJ and late licence on some nights playing a range of music and the crowd are always up dancing along. The service is great. The location is great The staff and management are fantastic. A great place to come for a few drinks, or indeed a night out. They also do Pizza!!! Who doesn't like pizza?!!!

Probably my favourite casual drop-in pub around FPK, a little bit divey. Bar staff are always friendly and on it. Nice little selection of drinks and spirits if that's your thing. A pint of Guinness will cost you £6.50 as of early Jan 2025. Generally rather clean pub. Excellent, well worn in sofas. Love chatting with a friend on one of those when it's quieter. On the busier evenings, it can be extremely loud and even more so if a DJ is on, which is my only really compliant - Whenever evening music/ dj has been on, it's been way too loud, even when there isn't any sort of crowd looking for it yet. From what I've noticed, accessibility isn't ideal, however there is a side door with a bigger width.

I like the seating and sofas, however, no hot drinks are offered and the food has to be ordered online from another restaurant with delivery fee as well which makes it inappropriately expensive.

Mo the bouncer was amazing and looked after everyone, he is great at his job and an amazing man!

Decent place, gets busy, loads of seating and has a dance floor. Gets busy on a Friday night. EDIT: I tried to go here again and one of the bouncers said he didn't want to let me in because he didn't like the look of me. I'm either in smart business attire or smart/business casual. Anyways, not going back here again.

We came to this pub looking for a place to watch the match... at first they didn't want to let us in because the pub was only for people with a match ticket or a season ticket. However, the Lady took pity on us and let us in. The atmosphere in the pub was great, it was also nicely decorated - everything tastefully :) Unfortunately, as it turned out, in England there is a regulation that you can't show matches between 3-4 p.m. and ours started at 3 p.m., so we didn't manage to watch it... However, this is of course not the bar's fault, so there is no way to subtract a star for it :)

My Friday night out at the Blackstock was SO much fun with SO much dancing that I literally danced my necklace right off…! When I emailed to check if the staff had found it, they were unbelievably kind and told me that my ‘beautiful necklace was very safe’. They had it for me behind the bar. This pub is a BRILLIANT night out and run by the loveliest people. Thank you so much to The Blackstock staff!!! ❤️

A nice traditional establishment which offers a variety of beverages. The pub had an agreement with a takeaway restaurant in which you can order takeaway food to be brought into the pub. A great idea. Its a very popular venue with the LGBTQ community and is near to the tube /bus and rail station.

We went to this pub on Saturday evening and once during the week around late lunch. Both times there was a good atmosphere. Both the waiter and the guests were super nice. The prices are really quite reasonable for London. Always my pleasure.

Nice and cosy pub near Finnsbury Park station, the waiters were polite and very welcoming, the prices were decent. Just one thing though and excuse my French, but NEVER put water in a glass of red wine 🤓 I honestly don't know if it is something common here in the UK but oh my, please quit doing that guys 🙏

Avoid at all cost very arrogant staff member. Ask to use rest room was refused. Asked to buy a drink to use restroom was refused. Offered money to use restroom room refused. Mocked me when I told him I suffer from weak/over active bladder
