After two weeks in England we can say that we’ve had our best pub meal and experience at The Blackbird. Excellent menu, wine list and service. And an accessible toilet on the main floor to boot! We ordered the meat and cheese platter and enjoyed a variety of deli meats and local cheeses, served with sourdough bread and a lovely chutney. A neighbouring table ordered the selection of pies and the patrons declared it as delicious! We seriously concerned the Sticky Toffee Pudding but sadly, we’re just too full! We fully intend to return on our next trip to London.

I booked your hotel for 4 people, 2 rooms at just over £400 shortly after obtaining Oasis tickets. I received a confirmation and then you cancelled my booking and now the same rooms are available to book at over £1000! Disgraceful!!! Pure greed!

Bel pub in South Kensington, della catena Fuller’s. Arredo in legno, ottima scelta di birra e bevande. Menu classicamente inglese: Fish & chips molto buone, larga scelta di ottimi pie, qualche stuzzichino, tutto cucina con qualità. Ottimo servizio, rapido e gentile e buon rapporto qualità/prezzo

The prices are acceptable. There is a restaurant on the ground floor that serves breakfast included in the price. The rooms are small and on a lively street. In general, they are acceptable.

Cozy pub with tasty food. I wanted to order the pie with lentils and mushrooms, but unfortunately it was gone. I then opted for the nut roast and it certainly did not disappoint. The dish was served with vegetables, a delicious cauliflower dish, Yorkshire pudding, roasted potatoes and a very good gravy. The roast itself consisted of nuts and was quite tasty. Some notes were just too loud unfortunately. Friendly staff. Very pricey; I paid around €27 for just a main course.

Nice pub with good atmosphere, getting a table may be a bit difficult without reservation. The staff were very friendly, music was just to my taste (Smiths, Siouxie, ...) and - what is important - was not too loud, so that one could easily understand and get understood. The food was excellent, so was the beer. Prices are at the "usual level", a Sunday roast dish cost just above £ 15, a pub classic around £ 12. Update 2024: back here, prices have gone up (like elsewhere), and the menu has changed, but still in love with this place. Excellent!

Stopped here for a quick pint and some food! Reasonable prices and the food was lovely! Would certainly come back. Seems like it would have a good atmosphere when it’s busier. I had the burger and it was decent, better than what you get at a green king etc!

We had a two night stay at a hotel close to the Blackbird and didn’t fancy their restaurant, after reading the views for the Blackbird we gave it a try and came back a second time! A busy bustling pub, great atmosphere, staff and fabulous food! The fish pie was sublime. Would use again and throughly recommend.

Over priced for pub food. A pint of beer and a pie with chips 27 pounds is a bit rich.

We made a reservation to watch the match. We sat comfortably with our child and watched, the atmosphere was very enjoyable.

Nice small hotel ideally located for Earls Court underground station Handy to get to all of SW and W London Rooms were nice and clean but a city hotel size so not huge The bar downstairs was busy and had a great selection of drinks Breakfast was good but could have been a bit warmer for my liking . All in all a good hotel with nice staff.

Really excellent pub both in terms of food and environment. Everything was clean and the food was not messy at all, in fact I was very surprised. Excellent fish and chips, not at all greasy and heavy. Highly recommended!

We are so glad we picked this pub for our Sunday dinner, as it had a traditional Sunday Roast! We had the beef and chicken roasts. Both were delicious! Sauce was great! Service was great!

Really great place. Great room, great service, great food throughout our stay. They even put out breakfast early for us when we were checking out early. To the morning staff: We ended up having to leave too early for that breakfast - our apologies for the extra work you did for us!!!

This used to be one of my favorite pubs in the area but the food isn’t what it used to be. The steak and ale pie, although still listed on the menu, is no longer available. Instead I ordered the beef cottage pie which was 90% mashed potato with just a little bit of ground beef with some chopped veg on the side. Nice atmosphere but will not come back.

My daughter and I came to the Blackbird after a busy day at the Natural History Museum. Excellent location and the premises is clean and vibrant. Friendly service from the start. The food portion was huge and prepared very quickly. Excellent service from Romain and Sashauna. We will be back soon

Excellent everything on a previous visit... this visit not as amazing. The fish and chips could have been a little more done. It was a little undercooked. I wish we had gotten the Apple & Blackberry Crumble. It looked amazing.

I didn't use the hotel, but the pub. The pub has a very atmospheric atmosphere, with a nice decor. Nice, communicative service. The food is very good, affordable, large portions, wide selection on the menu.

We didn't stay here but wound up eating breakfast here every day. Breakfast is served from 08:00 every day and we thoroughly enjoyed everything we tried from the excellent breakfast menu. The staff were friendly, efficient and professional.

What a find! All the neat little touches of a boutique hotel with all the advantages of a good pub. Two minutes from Earls Court tube station, the food and beers are great plus you get 10-15% off the price of any meal when you stay there. Our room was described as “petite” but had a very comfy bed, TV, Nespresso, etc and the en suite shower room was plenty big enough with a very refreshing shower. An excellent breakfast was included in the price which, considering what you get and considering the location, is decent value. Definitely recommended.

Breakfast was terrible with inedible under cooked pork sausage, terrible bacon, and the rest was average. At 40 pounds for 2 breakfasts and 2 teas it felt like a rip off.

All in all a good pub, well kept and good selection of beer, not very knowledgeable about the house wines, slightly blinkered as to clearing tables but hey ho I am here for enjoyment not criticism, food exactly what you would expect, my only query is why red wine gravy with all pies, even chicken, great proximity to underground for meeting up with friends, will return

Stayed in the Jacques room of The Blackbird. Room was lovely, clean, stylish, practical. Nice view of a street and gardens. Breakfast was good. Staff was professional. The Earl's Court tube station is only a few steps away. Overall an excellent experience. If you're a light sleeper, however, I would suggest you bring earplugs, because the floorboards are quite creaky, so the upstairs neighbours might wake or keep you up. Other than that I whole-heartedly recommend this accomodation.

Place with rude and unhelpful staff. Little clarity in the bill, where a different amount was loaded from what would have appeared on the menu. Impossibility to exercise any control, since the receipt issued was immediately thrown away by the waitress. Not recommended, I will never return.

Busy …. early evening drink and good atmosphere. Couple drinks nice cider and definitely visit again when we’re in the area. Didn’t eat but various food looked good. Thanks

Loved this pub. Food was great. Good portions. Had exceptional staff the night we were here. Not cheap. Location was so close to out hotel, transport, and essential shopping.

Service was nice but the breakfast was barely passable. Just about warm and lacklustre. For a sum of £14.50 I would’ve expected more, even by London standards

Lovely experience! We stayed nearby and were walking the neighbourhood and decided to pop in to relax and have some cocktails. The waitstaff is courteous and professional. They are very knowledgeable about different draughts and cocktails. We really enjoyed our time at this traditional English pub and look forward to trying food the next time we visit.

Came for breakfast only, so this review is about their food and service in the pub. Breakfast was bland, hardly seasoned. Service was nice and quick. I wouldn’t recommend this for a breakfast spot.

I ate in the restaurant/pub and the service was fantastic. I have pretty severe allergies and they have an app that contains up to date allergens. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was INCREDIBLE!!

Just popped in for breakfast but found it overpriced for what you got. Service was good, but the breakfast came out very quickly, which explained it was and tasted that it was pre-cooked Not the best sausages, very weird texture, and looked uncooked. The streaky bacon was very fatty. But hey ho, that was our opinion, but don't think I'll pay £45.00 again for 2 full English, 2 coffees, and an orange juice.

Been here a couple of times.. once pre COVID,once this week. A great pint of London pride, and lovely food, all ina lovely relaxed bar. Recommended

We were in London before Covid and felt that the accommodation and pubs were very old and worn down. We wondered if a visit back was worth the trouble particularly with the on going never ending rail and transport disputes. Its guerrilla warfare. Well we still had the transport hassles and delays on the railways but it was manageable. The real revelation was the vast improvement in accommodation standards and the pubs have been transformed into places that a nice to visit have a drink and a meal. Food was very good as we had just arrived after a long flight . Well done. I have included a few images of the new retro bathrooms which after my last visit looked like third world have been transformed into works of functional art. So will we be back? yes but we will have a Plan B incase the railway guys dump on us again

We stayed at the Blackbird in the Potter Room. It was comfortable, homey and clean with a good size bathroom. The staff were very accommodating and even carried our luggage up three flights on arrival as the lift was out of order. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast as it was plentiful and delicious. We also enjoyed the discount if you ate in the pub. The location is great as it is a two minute walk to the tube station and amenities across the street. The food was typical British pub fare and found it delicious. We enjoyed the small dining room behind the pub for a quieter venue. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return again. Thanks to the management and staff at the Blackbird for an outstanding job!

Booked table for 7 of to eat before going to football. There is nothing on the website to say this is a Chelsea fan pub only. We're a family group and were refused entry. Had eaten here before, but won't be back.

Gutes Pub, das aber eher den Stil eines Restaurants hat. Das Essen war klassisch und gut - die Bierauswahl ebenso. Allerdings bezahlt man für die gute Qualität und den sehr guten Service, selbst für Londoner Verhältnisse, einen etwas zu teueren Preis.

Sorry but this was my worse pub food in London tried the Cornish pasty and the Yorkshire pudding both dry and boring the pasty was nearly 18 pounds and was mainly pastry not a traditional Cornish at all

Mix tra un pub old style ed un ristorante,un buon compromesso anche se i prezzi sono leggermente più alti della media... Buonissime le pie e le patate fritte home made! Complimenti allo staff!

A very nice and quaint boutique hotel that has nine rooms the top of their Blackbird Cafe restaurant that is on the first floor. The food was very good at the restaurant both for dinner and for the buffet style breakfast. The staff were super friendly. The rooms were very clean and decorated nicely. There was a good size bathroom stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash and hand soap. There was a desk area as well as a small refrigerator and good sized TV in the room.

Ein nettes Pup nahe der Undergroundstation Earls Court. Hatten Hunger und aßen Fisch & Chips. Waren sehr gut (extrem großer saftiger Fisch mit guter Panier!). Waren die besten die wir jäh gegessen hatten! Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich.
