The Bistro in East Lothian

We arrived before the first race of the day, lovely friendly staff awaiting our arrival, where very attentive to our needs, including a lady who works there called Lynny who came out the kitchen to greet us. Hadn't booked a table , but we were offered one very quickly. My friend who I was with me was adaquately helped with seating and a view of the races on TV. My friend had fish and chips with veg and I had roast from the carvary with all the timmings, both very full plates and beautifully cooked. We can certainly recommend this lovely modern clean restaurant to anyone. certainly be back again. Thanks to all there who made it very special.

Después de un viaje de cinco horas en coche que no podría haber pedido un mejor almuerzo domingo sirve personal encantador y amable. Sopa de zanahoria y jengibre era divina y el cerdo asado, y especialmente los chefs patatas asadas eran excelentes. Es una pena que no podía decir lo mismo de mis dos caballos que tenia corriendo el día!

Visitamos el Bistro con mi esposa en el día de la familia en el Hipódromo de musselburgh. Nos las arreglamos para conseguir una mesa en el Bistro gracias a una camarera muy servicial (Recomiendo reservar con antelación). Nos sirvieron por personal educado, amable y servicial, cualidades que se reflejan por todo el personal en Musselburgh. La comida era deliciosa, las raciones generosas y una buena relación calidad-precio. Gracias a todos los implicados.

Fuimos para las carreras recientemente. El servicio y la comida eran - reímos con el personal y disfruté de mi pescado y patatas fritas enormemente!! Volveré.

Doreen y su equipo ofrecen una cálida bienvenida en un entorno limpio y bien presentada. La casa fresca comida casera es encantador y el personal, muy amable.

Not the greatest fan of going to the races in the rain, but the Bistro is one great reason to visit no matter the weather - you can sit and watch the racing from the comfort of your seat! My missus and I are veggie and they always seem to have great home made options, and the desserts are divine. Doreen is the Maitre'd there who apparently runs the front of house AND makes all of this yummy food as well. How awesome is that! I'll definitely be back, hoping for better weather! :-)

A few friends and I booked into the Bistro for Edinburgh Cup in June. The food was fantastic and I will make sure that we come here again when we come through for the next races :-) Couldn't recommend enough!

Attended Musselburgh Racecourse today and ate in the Bistro!! Made to feel very welcome by the manager at the door and just took us right to the table.Ordered our food, Home cooked roast lamb and mint was to die for!! Roast potatoes were perfect!! Finished off with a generous serving on home are Apple crumble and Luca ice cream!! Can't wait to go back!!!
