The Bistro in Forest Heath

All of the fried food that we ordered gives the appearance of being cooked earlier in the day or shift, and then stuck back in the fryer once ordered. The chicken patties, chicken strips, french fries, fried pickles, and jalepeño poppers were all lukewarm to warm even though they were cooked to nearly burnt.

Id give it 5 stars but they dont ever answer the phone. I cant just be waiting there for 30 minutes for my food to be done

The sides were pretty terrible but the steak was spot-on. And for this price, not a bad deal. Always love the staff. They make everything so pleasant! Spaces are clean and tidy.

First time going as visited a friend on base, the food was superb

The French toast breakfast sandwich was yummy! My husband loved the breakfast burrito. Good go to on base, and we really enjoyed one of the staff members - such a personable and friendly dude!

Not a bad place to grab a bite to eat. Never really had a bad experience here. Also, 10 out of 10 recommend the coffee from here over the Exchange! I also recommend the double dipped chicken strips!

The Bistro is NOT accessible to the British public because it is located on RAF Lakenheath, a base operated by the USAF. No base access, no eat.

Never answers phones for breakfast. Ever. Website checkout doesn’t work. Ever. Horrible service. Do not recommend. Go get a tornado from the shoppette.

Friendly service and very good food

Certain dishes are really good, while others look/sound really good but are usually just OK. This is especially true for the cost.

Staff is nice, food is garbage and coffee is even worse —— not worth the price even on their deal days !!

Top quality service, the food servers go above and beyond the call of duty, to ensure good and speedy service. The food is amazing, fairly priced and presented well, and extremely tasty. The range of coffees is outstanding, and again, fairly priced. Rugbies is the place for me, always very accomodating to everyone's needs, I rate 5 + stars. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND RUGBIE'S MODERN DAY BISTRO

Food is always good and service is usually pretty quick. I like going here to get the brunch burger. Super delicious. Their potato salad is also really good.

Yummy American breakfast. We had french toast, fried eggs, pancakes, and french toast sandwich. All was delicious, but husband said the sandwich was really really good. He devoured it all.

I’ve eaten here many times, I think it is very over priced the service is the worst. Every month I get breakfast here with someone to celebrate, and I love the food but today they refused to serve me breakfast. I was very upset by this because I was there before breakfast ended and the people infront of me in line got breakfast, and I was mid order and another employee told the man taking my order to cancel because they are no longer serving breakfast. I stood in the line for 10 mintues and I also was the last person so I didn’t understand why they didn’t want to serve me. Another time I have ordered the salsa and they gave my table A LOT but only 6 chips with it, we kindly asked if we can have more, another employee addressed my table saying “we have more chips....to buy” I just thought the way she said it was very rude. Another time I was ordering my favourite salad, the fuji apple salad, and every time I ordered it something was ALWAYS missing. One time the apples, next the dressing, once there were bugs in The dressing. Just a sum up of this rant is the food is ok but over priced, the service AWFUL.

Best coffee you can have in the area. Used to go for breakfast but food has been making me and my girlfriend sick. Might be because they use fake eggs for everything. The seating is also not very comfortable, nor does the place have the homey ambience of a normal diner. Not a place I’d choose to go to.

Choice of roast beef, pork, Turkey or baked ham. Roast potatoes and mashed potatoes. Corn bread dressing, green beans, broccoli with cheese sauce, carrots and stir fry vegetables. Apple cobbler with cream for dessert. Price is less than $10! Friendly helpful staff on duty. Great atmosphere in the dining room.

One of the best places to get breakfast and coffee if you don’t like the chow hall. They stop serving breakfast at 1030am A really nice atmosphere too👍👍

We ordered our food and our friend ordered after us. All his food came out before our. It took almost 30 min to get our food and it was overcooked.

Hours changed to only breakfast and lunch. Just another restaurant on base that doesn't cater to maintenance

They could do a lot better. It's very iffy if it will be good. Depends on who is working. Overall: Save your money/time unless this is the only place you can eat.
