Really cannot wait to go back to the bistro!! I seen it advertised on Facebook one day, never heared off before, popped in today was pleasantly surprised that this lovely place existed!! I had quiche, chips and salad, was amazing, they had a very good selection of cold drinks I had a bottle of fentmans dandelion and burdock, took me back to my youth. For dessert I had bakewell sponge and custard it was amazing!!! I was seated and had table service by a lovely friendly waitress, nothing is too much trouble can't wait to go back with friends. Definitely good value for money and very clean aswell!

I popped in for a quick bite to eat. The menu was varied and I eventually settled on a ham and cheese panini and it was absolutely delicious! I would recommend to anyone who is looking for great service and reasonable prices.

if you want the choice of a filling of cheese toasties on either white or brown bread its a great choice , which can be followed by a good choice of fresh homemade deserts.

The food was excellent and the staff were really friendly. I popped in for a snack whilst my elderly relative went to one of the Age Connects clubs. I didn't realise that Age Connects did outside catering as well - going on the standard of the service and the quality of the food I received in the Bistro, I am definitely going to use them in the future - Highly recommended!!!!!

Visited during the Olympics and the atmosphere reflected this with an Olympic theme, flags/ staff wearing red/white and blue. Staff we're warm and friendly, nothing was to much trouble for them. Excellent menu choice from breakfast , light snacks , lunch to a delicious desert board. I had the special of the day which was a homemade burger, this came with a side of caramelised onion, salsa and chips, beautifully presented and all homemade, didn't have room for desert! ! But will definitely return to try the waffle stack

I have eaten here on a number of occasions and can say that the food is amazing. The menu changes regularly enough that you won't get bored of having the same menu over and over but they do seem to keep on popular favourites if you fancy some 'comfort' food.

Every one was so friendly. Traditional afternoon tea was amazing, served with vintage china. I took my mum back for lunch, bubbly battered fish was so light. Recommend.

I was privileged to enjoy afternoon tea at the Bistro to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday. The Bistro looked so welcoming with bunting, and tables decked out in red white and blue with fresh flowers on every table. We received a very warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Our tea was delicious, and beautifully presented. It consisted of an assortment of finger sandwiches and various pastries, and a continuing supply of tea or coffee. The tiny tartlets, which were particularly delicious, were filled with fresh fruit of various kinds. Of course no afternoon tea would be complete without fresh warm scones with jam and cream, which we duly enjoyed. I have been for afternoon tea to 5* hotels and the Bistro's tea was equally as delicious, and at only £8.50 a head, to include entertainment, excellent value.

I have enjoyed lovely meals and a friendly warm environment at the bistro. There is a wide array of food on offer and if your not stuffed after your lunch there are many types of dessert available, it's just hard to choose which one!

I received first class service at the Bistro in Widdershins. I attended with a group of friends for the St Davids Afternoon Tea Celebration. It was a wonderful event and the afternoon tea was just splendid. It was great value, only £8.50 including musical entertainment.

This is a dog friendly restaurant that caters for all breakfast, lunch. Open from 9am until 4pm daily, Closed on a Tuesday. The food is scrumptious and so reasonable with large portions. Their ice cream is yummy. Sunday lunch is amazing and their evening menu is unbelievable given the quality and cost. Even on a budget you can justify eating here.

We've been going to Brown Bears for over a year. We have never had a bad experience. The coffee, cake and service are all excellent. A 5 score is not enough..they deserve 10 out of 10.
