Wanted to get chips on promenade as you know . .. best place to get fresh fish and chips ... well all was closed (midweek) locals have redirected us to this chippy and omg well worth it!!! Great service great food!! Well done guys!

Absolutely great food, fish was cooked fresh and cooked perfectly, the batter was light and crisp and not oily at all. The staff were super friendly and it was easy to park up outside, even better was 2 mins drive from the beach so nice to sit in the evening sun and enjoy the meal afterwards. Portion size was great, not to big, not to small and felt like really good value. Would go again if I was in the area again.

Local fish and chip shop which is absolutely fantastic. Food is amazing with friendly staff. Being able to pay by card is a huge bonus.

Good, proper chips. Lovely breaded plaice. Lovely friendly service. I was also going here because while the pandemic is on it’s been one of the very few chip shops that accepts card payment for chips: much, much more hygienic than cash.

Chips taste like oil hasn’t been changed ever noodle box’s taste like wok is burnt through and staff always make me feel like I’m inconveniencing them by going in and ordering,plus even simple orders like a fish 2 sausage and a ptn of chips can take up to half an hour , but otherwise good

This is my only go to Fish and Chips on The Wirral! Great customer service when you walk in and always taking orders with a smile no matter what the order is! Fish and Chips comes prepared in a well designed box and is made fresh while you wait! The best fish, the best chips, the best mush pees, the best curry sauce 10/10 all round! Best gaff on the Wirral for your fish and chips! You dont know what your missing out on! You dont know until you try 🙌🏻

Fish & chips each time have been freshly prepared, not just reheated. Presented in a box which is a little different. Staff really pleasant. Would really recommend 👌

Lovely food, Great Fish and Chips

This IS THE BEST chippy for miles! The chips are genuine chippy chips exactly the way they should look and taste. Chicken and chips is amazing and the carry, gravy and peas are fab!! It’s like going back in time to when I was young (70’s and 80’s) genuine excellent quality food 👍🏽

We eat out of hear last week and all 5 of us had food poison off the chicken we went the doctors cause we were all sick they said it was food poison an we eat hear 2 days before wont be going again

I went for fish and chips, the fish was perfectly cooked in a light batter, chips were fresh and tasty. Service was welcoming and very helpful. Would highly recommend.

A simple straightforward friendly chippy who provide very good food at a fair price. They kept going during the lockdown which deserves our thanks & respect.

I know not many chippies open right now but I feel really ripped off asked for two portions of chips two cartons of peas two cartons of curry £8.20 really , the chips were only a few the peas undercooked like bullets . really disappointed. wont be going there again think they have put prices up . disgusting .

Don't get caught out parking in "The Nelson" as they charge now. (Same as "The Lighthouse"........ robbin' gets.)

If you like chips you will not find better than these, they are just superb! Add a chicken breast and curry sauce and you will be in heaven! We go every week and have not been let down. Thanks guys keep up the great work 😁

RIP OFF!! Asked for fish and chips and automatically paid for ‘large’ although the woman did not ask which I wanted. Fish was the same size I’d seen used for small and literally a handful of chips! Chips were anaemic, fish was okay but very small.

My favourite chippy for fish and chips. The chips are done just right, not anaemic like some places do, and you get a good size portion. They also do yummy fish bites for kids and the staff are super friendly!

First chippy of choice in Wallasey for some good old fish & chips (and mushy peas of course!)

Used to be good fish and chips but really gone down in quality. Would not go there again. Go to the Village fish and chips in Wallasey village by roundabout, far better.
