Not only best ever brownies but also best ever milkshakes, pancakes, rolls, breakfasts and more! We were very well looked after for my daughter’s birthday brunch treat.

Really lovely lunch out. The savoury food was wonderful. Hot and freshly cooked. Nice portion and pretty quick despite being really, really busy. Staff were very kind. The 20 lunch for 2 offer is really good value. However, really limited vegan options (1 pre packed brownie). And the cookie sandwiches (which look amazing) are so sweet the family who had them couldn't finish them. Ice cream on the side or some berries to cut through the richness would be awesome. However, please don't think of this as a negative review. The milkshakes looked phenomenal and the coffee was really good too. Definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely incredible visit making Mother’s Day very special, we pre booked and glad we did as it was full with others being turned away so absolutely must book. We had coffee and brownies and they even gave the children a little pack containing a slice of brownie, colouring, sweets etc which was just lovely. Tea, cake and coffee were all incredible and we took some away to enjoy later too. They couldn’t have given better service or better food especially being so so busy on Mother’s Day we loved it and will return again.

I went with a friend at lunchtime on a Sunday. I phoned half an hour before I was planning to arrive to ask if they would reserve a table. No problem. I thought it might be a bit busy and it was, but no drama I had a table reserved :-) we both had hot chocolate., I went for BLT bagel and my friend had New York Deli. Annoyingly, wish I had spotted the meal deal of 2 regular drinks, 2 bagel/toastie and 2 classic brownie for £20 nevermind. I think it’s a March special. We also had brownies as dessert. Was a great visit. Brownies/Bagels delicious

We thought we would take little one for a birthday breakfast after hearing good noise about this place. The cafe was well presented in a lovely refurbished barn. The full English breakfast was amazing, great tasting ingredients and never seen so much bacon on a breakfast. I wasn't going to let it go to waste so ended up stuffed. Milkshakes...wow they were huge and tasted great. The staff were so attentive and welcoming. I would advise to book as most of the tables were reserved which tells you it's own story. We will definitely be returning. 5 stars

We visited at 3pm on a Friday afternoon. The kitchen closes at 3pm so toasties/bagels are off the menu. We both had large lattes and shared a chocolate brownie scotch egg and Nutella cookie stack. We asked what was in the brownie scotch egg and told it was a crème egg but it ended up being biscotti filling. We had knives to cut in half, but these both were solid and very hard and dense to cut. I was expecting the Nutella cream in the cookie to be soft but it was very hard going. Both were 4.95 - the most expensive items. I will say though that the scotch egg is easily a 2 person portion. I think one of the issues is they are kept in a fridge so this adds to the firmness and the chill factor masks the taste a bit. We took half away with us if of each. A couple of hours at room temperature improves the taste of both and softens up the cream filling in the cookie. It’s understandable why these are kept chilled, but they are nicer at room temperature. The cafe itself is nicely large d out. I will return to try the lunch menu sometime. This place is in the middle of the countryside so it’s more end destination than drop in. Lovely views and makes a change to the normal high street choices.

I've been meaning to hike from Calne to this café for lunch for such a long time and finally managed to do so today, whilst my husband and I are on Christmas leave. The barn was warm, cosy and clean and there was a lovely vibe. We ordered the vegetarian three course Christmas lunch of soup of the day with crusty bread, followed by brie and cranberry toasties with veggie pigs in blankets, dipping gravy and potato wedges. We couldn't fit in the warm chocolate brownies with brandy cream, so selected two delicious-looking brownies from the cabinet to take home for later. The food was tasty, the portions excellent for energetic, hungry people (we often come away hungry from meals out, but not today!) and the service was friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be visiting this little gem again and will be factoring in walks to do so.

What a find!! A beautiful cafe in a lovely rural setting. Fabulous choice of brownies to tempt you. Breakfasts and lunches. I chose a toasted cheese and tomato sandwich. Gorgeous bread, plenty of oozing cheese, a little pot of a dipping sauce of your choice and a little pot of crisps. Great, friendly, service, in a beautifully fresh, relaxed environment. Space to sit outside as well. Excellent view. Bought a couple of brownies to take away!! 😋

Lovely location, and beautifully decorated barn. The brownies were very good but extremely expensive at £3.95 EACH! Disappointing to see that on a farm location, sourcing Kelly's ice cream all the way from Cornwall (guessing it is cheap) but still £3 for a single scoop (or buy a whole tub in Tesco for the same price!). Should be sourcing local, no excuse really with Marshfield Ice Cream down the road.

Visited Cafe in Foxham to purchase Brownies having bought for my son in Bath’s Christmas Market. Certainly not the easiest of places to find, thank goodness for SatNav. Lovely selection to choose from and I have to say my son describes them as the best brownies ever. Sadly I wasn’t able to sample them because the brownies which contain nuts are not kept separated from those that don’t, in fact they are displayed side by side. The lovely assistant did offer to get me a particular brownie from the fridge but unfortunately they were all on display. The risk was too great for me - to my health and waistline!

It might look like this review is biased....it's been 19 years since I last saw the owner of this business and her husband. They have a dream and have worked hard to get where they are today. And today that is a thriving on-line mail order business and local cafes. There is an excellent selection of brownies and blondies and flavours even tailored to Halloween, Valentine's, Christmas and other special dates in the calendar. I can't recommend this Company enough and have sent numerous boxes to friends and family, all of whom have been impressed with their quality. So all I can say is order a box or head to a cafe to try for yourself.

The Best Brownie is a short drive from our home and is worth the trip on a sunny day. The setting has improved with the completion of a covered Cafe offering drinks, meals, ice creams and the like. Seating is available under the new 'barn style roof'. Outside bench seating with sun umbrellas is our preference. Service is good, prompt and with a smile. Along with our coffee we enjoyed The Best Brownie that comes in a variety of tastes; orange, salted caramel and others. They really are very good Brownies. We have visited this location several times, both prior to the new building and since it was completed. We will return and take family and friends with its.

Had no idea what to expect tbh, its a new cafe but we live local so had to give it a try. It’s really rather nice! The barn cafe is really sweet with plenty of room for the kids to run around outside but the food is the star of the show. As a group we had burgers, loaded fries and several brownies. The quality is high and the fries and burger portion sizes were much larger than expected! Only thing I’d describe as average are the milkshakes. We ate certainly going to make this a regular stop for us and that is probably the best recommendation I can give.

I thought twice about writing a review because I want to keep this place all to myself! It is fantastic! In a beautiful location, the cakes are insanely good and the staff are helpful and friendly. I visited with my friends and children (who were able to run off the sugar in the field) we all had trouble deciding which treat to try, brownies, ice cream, milkshakes and coffee, everything you need. There are picnic tables outside with parasols or tables inside the nicely decorated cafe. Don't all go at once please 😅

Agreed these are the ‘best ever brownies’. A friend and I visited the farm for a mini picnic. We had a coffee and the vegan sandwich (hummus and rocket). They had alternative milk and decaf available for the coffee. We tried the boxed selection of vegan brownies which included vegan salted caramel, vegan pistachio, vegan banana and date and the vegan coconut and raspberry. Such a lovely treat for someone with a dairy intolerance! Absolutely delicious, just the right combination of flavours and not too sickly. My favourite has to be the coconut and raspberry for a little bit of sweetness. I did treat my (non dairy free) chocolate eating hubby to a snickers brownie and he said the flavours really did remind him of eating a snickers!
