Ordered 3 pizzas they only fetched one it's was like a brick couldn't chew though it when I rang them to tell them where's the other pizza's they put the phone down on me also ordered chicken biryani don't know what meat that was but it wasn't chicken probably rabbits foot or something then they rang me cause they seen my last review tryna get all aggressive 🤦😂never ever again will I order from these guys I'm ringing the food hygiene people cause that was no chicken in my biryani 😡 minus a million star's gross place

Just like other people have stated , this place has the worst customer service ever! I ordered food to be delivered and they never delivered my food and when I contacted them they were dismissive and shouting. Never order from them it’s honestly terrible.

Placed an order here, I tried to cancel the order. Because I did not see the 3 star hygiene rating, it wouldn’t let me I contacted deliveroo and they said these people wouldn’t cancel it on they’re end. Anyway the delivery time just kept going up and up and my food took around an hour to come. The chips was stale the curry sauce was runny, also forgot 2 drinks. DONT ORDER FROM HERE. It is VILE always make sure to read the hygiene and reviews before ordering🐀🤢

We made a big mistake we ordered without looking at the reviews on google. We ordered a special 12" pizza, peri burger meal and 2 milkshakes last night. I couldnt leave a review last night I've had an upset stomach. The pizza we nasty. The pizza dough must have been sat around for a good few days. Crust was hard and the colour of the dough was different. Pizza had a bad smell to it. Toppings weren't any better. They looked the had been sat around for a week in the prep station. They don't rotate stock and the toppings were off. The onions had mould on them. The topping were all shrivelled up and looked nasty. The chicken donner topping had bones in them. Pizza base smelt and tasted weird. Next the peri burger meal. The burger was a frozen chicken burger which got grilled and put some peri burger sauce to make out that it was a fresh peri peri burger. They slashed a tonne of mayo on it and loads of salad on it which we didn't ask for. I couldn't taste peri peri burger because it was drenched in mayo. The chips tasted of old oil which hadn't been changed in ages. Milkshakes were really bad also. Something was off either the ice cream or the milk they used. We threw everything away. No wonder they've got an offer on. If you spend £25 you get 40 % off. I bet hardly anyone orders from this place. That's why they've got these offers on. My total came to around £27 with the discount I wasted around £17 on horrible food. I don't know these guys are still in business. Worst takeaway we've had. Please don't order from here. You'll be getting the runs and get food poisoning. Stay well away!!

Gross. Uncooked chips that stink of old cooking oil. Kebab was a sloppy mess full of salad and about 5 bits of tastless chicken. Horrible. Avoid. Dont think the bin enjoyed the food either.

I had Chicken briyani from here and I felt that the chicken was too soft like processed with something. My toddler ate it and started vomiting. He also had blood. I would recommend not to get anything from here.

Hidden gem really good food Keema Chips on point Just don't expect stellar service

AVOID...ordered fish , chips, gravy, and a chicken balti and garlic nan . Don't know what they gave me but it was not a balti, it was like a really thin hot sour sauce swimming in grease with some reheated chicken..two pieces pepper and mushy onions. No spices at all. The fish batter was really greasy, chips soggy small portions, not that this was an issue as it all went straight in the bin..

STAY AWAY from Fish and Chips or Chips & Salad !!! The fish was soggy and the salad mixed with the chips and spicy !!! 🤮🤮🤮🤮 Never again.

Ordered 2 biyanis Had a 1 spoon. Was absolutely awful. Had to put put both in the bin. Absolutely waste of money and food. Will defientaly not go there again. Nor would I recommend it. Just ordered a chicken tikka and dona kebab. Both chicken and dona meat was chucked into a pan and fried and poured onto the nan! The nan was saturated with greese and oil. It just tasted salty and greasy. Please dont waste your money, just go elsewhere.

Just had my order and i can honestly say this place is DISGUSTING! I paid £2 for watery bland marrow fat peas instead of mushy peas, the gravy was clotted and the chips were beyond stale and old!!!!

Previously gave 5 stars but now changed to 1 since new ownership/staff. Been a regular customer here for over 6 years so take this as an honest review. Food is now always stone cold when delivered as drivers do not use the keep warm bags. Staff also do not use foil to wrap food either. Raised this with staff who basically said I was lying and then changed to "its impossible to keep the food warm as the salad makes it cold when its put on!" Chicken donner meat is now very bad quality. Every 3rd mouthful is full of hard fatty gristle. Half the time, staff now hardly speak English when answering phone which makes orders very hard. Shame because this was our go to takeaway for years. Won't be ordering from here again. And the fake reviews on here at not kidding anyone.....

Ordered food from here on Uber Eats. What we received makes a mockery of the review system on that app. Naan breads had very little taste. The chicken dhansak my wife had was below average. Nothing offensive but not good by any stretch. My sons chicken tikka masala was absolutely awful. The only reason I very kindly gave them two stars is because a donner kebab that was with the order was okay. Not nice, but passable. The portions were a little mean too. These places are all charging top money for this food now. As such, it was massively overpriced for what we received.

Make a Super piece of fish for your fish and chips really yummy.lots of other nice food, kebabs,rice,pizza,kemma,shish kebab drinks.

Asked for no salad got extra salad by the looks ofit. No drinks with the meals which I paid for. Cheese and garlic bread is more like burnt cheese on bread with no garlic. Pizza needs seasoning as it's bland. Pretty poor and disappointed as they are usually on point with this stuff. Lost a customer now 😒

Very good Chips. Fish is good too. Plus a whole host of other foods too Including kebabs 🍢 Burgers Etc It's Halal to boot. Definitely worth a visit. I gather that they do deliver locally. Prices pretty good. Am told the staff are friendly and helpful.

The Ben Special Kebab is a truly fantastic creation. Every so often I decide that I am very hungry and, with a bit of help from Susan I will defeat this beast. I always fail, it tastes fantastic but is too huge for even two greedy people to finish in one sitting. You will be defeated but not disappointed.

Absolutely disgusting. Fish was cooked from frozen not fresh and not edible. Chips were undercooked. Garlic mushrooms had been boiled and put in a garlic butter which leaked all over everything. Asked for chicken spring rolls and was given falafal. Nearly 30 pound wasted. Would never order again!!

Kebab and ch tikka was full on red, tasted horrible and paid for a £4 milkshake but got a £1.50 tub of icecream from iceland.

I popped into the Ben Chippy today for the first time, as my regular chip shop (the Golden Apple) was closed. I was also interested to see if the Ben Chippy did decent chips (as those from the Golden Apple have gone downhill a bit since the recent change of ownership). The staff in the Ben Chippy were friendly and welcoming. They told me that their chips were freshly made but when I tried them I came to doubt that as I found that they were lukewarm and sadly soggy. In my view chips should at least be hot so I found them inedible and that education cost me £1.20. I didn't want to waste them so I put them out for the pigeons but even the pigeons wouldn't eat them (true) so they went in the green bin. This review is from my own experience, it was based on one purchase of chips (I wouldn't buy from there a second time). I reiterate that the staff in the Ben Chippy seemed nice folk, I don't want to damn them with a bad review based on only one sample so I must advise that you may have a different experience - maybe I'm just too fussy in expecting chips to be hot and fresh when I'm told that they're freshly made?

Told my mate to bring some fish & chips while i was at work he went and when he came back with the food and I opened it it was not looking fresh at all fish was cold and seemed not properly done only ate half couldn’t stand more even that i was really hungry and after that I’ve been ill for 2 days vomiting my mate even told me that the staff picked the dirt from the floor with their hands and with the same hands they were cooking the fish soo nasty and disgraceful
