Jake and his band apparently play 1st and 3rd Weds evenings every month, so next gig is Weds 21st Aug '19. Tonight they had a guest sax player Alex Garnett - they were all awesome! From about 8pm thru to 10.30pm with a break in the middle. Short simple menu on offer, a burger 'n chips 12 quid. Bottle of wine 20. All good. The gig is listed on the jazzlondonlive website so you can check who is playing. Great to have such a nice venue for music in London !

As a previous visitor to a dark garden, overpriced food and expensive drinks, what a lovely surprise. The garden is a beautiful, hidden gem. The menu is accessible and very reasonable(food was great.) the drinks were reasonable and staff were friendly. If like me, you avoided this place, please come back for a second go, you will have a lovely surprise .

Nice interior, spacious and comfy. Ordered the xmas dinner. Parsnip soup starter. All delicious. But 3 times more vegetables put out than you could eat. And extra potatoes. Would have gone to waste if one of our party hadnt asked for a doggy bag. Service was very good from the waitress but the manager (i think) was a bit intense. If he tried a bit less hard to gratify us and if a wasteful attitude to food wasn’t evident, it’d get 5 stars.

Excellent service, the best Sunday roast, in a warm and and friendly place. If you find yourself in Camden town it worths to move away from the crowd and have a proper lunch or dinner.

Fabulous pizza - try the truffle! Annoying that tripadvisor insists on 100 characters minimum. I don’t need to add anything else! It was really good, try it.

We went late 7pm roast finish at 5 but we called and they saved it for us had one starter chorizo which was good 3 roast beef the meat was outstanding we had chips as roast potatoes had gone hard with the wait but cant blame them we were the ones who were late 2 puds the salted caramel which was a bit bland i had the nuttella caniloni which was great We had 7 or 8 drinks total bill was £98 not cheap but its the area! Jason the waiter was on point

I appreciate that this is a relatively new venue so its right that the owners should have the chance to get the restaurant running well but my experience there was not a good one. Whilst the starters were good and some of the mains were equally good too, some of the other mains ordered were not good and the waiter completely forgot to put an order in for one of our party so by the time everyone else had finished their meal he only just received his. We had to ask repeatedly for our drinks and ketchup too. Our server was a little too familiar and unprofessional. I'm all for friendly and fun service in a casual venue such as this but our server was just too unprofessional and actually a little overly cocky! A great shame but we will not be returning. I hope that the owners sort out these issues.

Originally just dropped into this pub for a few drinks but the atmosphere was so good we decided to order pizza. Proper pizza oven cooking really thin crust pizza. Nice topping. Probably the best pizza I’ve had in a very long time.

I visited this pub for a birthday party and was pleasantly surprised. This was the first time I have been back to the pub since its been refurbished, decor was lovely. Really welcoming feel to the pub. Food was delicious and the staff were very attentive. Really enjoyed myself and will definitely visit again.

i've been at The Belrose in the end of September. I never been efore but I know really well the area and all the places. the pizza and the pizza choices are fantastic, not that much, but all authentic italian pizzas! the rest of the menu, especially for a pub, is awsome. I tried a coupe of starer and was amazing ("polpo" and potato and the burrata with datterini tomato and pesto). they had also a good selection of main course, but they have probably to add some different burger? anyway I spok for a while with a waiter (jason,I think)he was friendly and polite. he told me than in a two or three weeks, the belrose will have a sunday roast as well, I can't wait. looking forward to come back in this fantstic new pub-italian restaurant-pizzeria

After months of waiting the doors finally opened. Decor is an improvement, staff are friendly and helpful but the menu is a disappointment. It is basically a pizzeria with a burger option. I am dairy free and there are virtually no menu choices that are possible, with the Italian cheese-based slant (and I have never been a burger fan). I have been twice now, the first time I had a mackerel special but it was tiny, along with another starter; the second occasion the special was finished by 7 pm so I was flummoxed for a choice; don't want a salad in the evening, don't eat red meat, and no fish on the menu at all. You may say I am picky - actually I think I am fairly normal for NW3! Anyway we ordered a bottle of wine and some food, and waited and waited...only to be told there was a fire in the kitchen (someone left something on the oven which caught fire - duh!), we had to evacuate (finished the wine in the charming garden) and the kitchen was closed. The manager missed a PR opportunity and we paid full whack for the wine despite suggesting that hungry diners might need compensation. "We're off to the Steeles!" is my parting shot, also recently re-opened and hot competition as the menu is large, varied and good. Seriously, the menu is far too limited to attract a returning clientele unless they are pizza addicts. A quick fix would be a more varied section of specials which include a daily fish dish. And make sure they don't run out! I am sad to write this review as this has been my local for years and its lost its appeal.

My girlfriend and I have just had the most amazing brunch here. I think it’s newly opened, but they seem to be doing everything right so far. The Bloody Mary’s were excellent too. Highly recommend for Brunch. We can’t wait to check out the rest of their menu!

Very happy with our dinner here, I tried a diavola pizza and my wife the burger. Neither dish disappointed, very reasonable price for the pizza of 10£. The refurb has been nicely done, and is leagues more inviting than the previous restaurant at this site. They have a good range of beers and ales on tap so it retains some pub style legacy.

We went into this pub/restaurant, not expecting much. The food was really outstanding and very well priced given the quality and the location. It is not the usual gastropub fare. The drinks list is varied and interesting and the service is faultless. Highly recommended.

A welcome addition to the local area, we had incredible food here during their first week. It was super busy the first time we tried to come along, but the second time the service was really slick. Particularly good food, especially their Rib Eye steak, the burrata and the salads. Quality food, simply done. Oh and that pistachio ice cream.
