I enjoyed the food at this restaurant, very good. Excellent value for money, and very welcoming staff.

Delicious food and excellent service. Only marked down because of pretty wobbly table and loud, high pitched AC noises throughout.

Their weekday specials are worth visiting! I enjoyed my visit and trying their Friday special. Edit: The following week I popped in at around 7pm on a Friday I was told they were not seating any more people, even though the restaurant was pretty much empty. It felt like the server was being a bit dismissive. I decided to give it another try another day, and again, the service was subpar. I really enjoy their food, but their service doesn't always feel the most welcoming.

Angel served me and she legit is AWESOME. THE SERVICE WAS PHENOMENAL. This was my first time here but maybe my last due to the egg shell being found in my pad Thai rice. I took pics and videos and sent it to this establishment since they don’t have a phone number but nobody has reached out to me yet.

Food just wasn’t great, probably one of the worst chinese places i’ve been too, couldn’t finish my food the food was bland and extremely oil, ordered the prawn squid egg fried rice and more and was not enjoyable what’s so ever - staff were extremely kind however.

We shared the beef rib tacos, katsu curry and beef rendang and it was all so good! Highly recommend!

Really tasty food just steps from the British Museum!

Had the chicken teriyaki and the chicken sewers were raw inside. Charred on the outside and raw inside. Hope I don’t get sick.

Me and my friend came to the restaurant to have indo Chinese food the service by “”bunny”” was excellent she took care of us in a very proper manner and she suggested the food according to our taste we loved everything and would like to come in future and will recommend to our friends also.

Close to Tottenham Court station. Asian fusion with nice deco, but the service was a bit slow (looks like understaffed, they are nice tho). Ordered beef short rib ramen, the meat portion was amazing, but not the noodle. It's not the proper ramen noodle used, but I guess this is a fusion. Considering the price, it's not bad. Other dishes look small too.

The pad Thai was the worst I've ever had. It was sloppy and the prawns were undercooked and not very fresh. Maybe they had an off night but based on that one experience I would not recommend the place.

We were told the tables were sticky by nature. Lights were flickering. Service was friendly, but slow and inattentive. Several items were not available. The food was average. We've been to the restaurant a year ago and came back bc of the excellent service, the tasty dishes and the good drinks we had back then - now the place seems to be close to shutting its doors.

The food was great and at a fair price! I had the beef curry with rice and naan, my naan was my favourite! Service was great, Vandana was lovely and so helpful. Atmosphere was calm and relaxing, will definitely visit again.

Sadly not good. Had 2 Bao buns, one beef (good) 2nd char sou pork (bad) one tiny cube of pork and the other piece was a soggy slab of pure fat yuck,! Inedible When this was pointed out politely to staff they weren't bothered, didn't discount my bill but I refused to pay service charge. 84 Holborn, London

The food is very good, but the portions are tiny. They greeted us with a smile, but they warned us that there were many dishes not available. The place was very nice, but quite soulless because it was almost empty. They have gluten free options.

The food was okay, won't recommend the Pad Thai Chicken Noodles, smelt funny - was told its the fish smell (what fish I ordered chicken). None of the drinks were available only soft drinks. I asked for water, but had to ask for it again, only then was given 4 glasses when there was 7 of us. Waitress seemed moody, was inattentive, always had to call out loud to get her attention, when the place wasn't busy at all. The toilet was absolutely disgusting, the corridor and toilet smelt of really bad urine. Wouldn't go there again neither would I recommend.

I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. We tried to order a few vegetarian options that were unavailable. Two rice sides with our dish were cold and uncooked, we were afraid we would get sick if we ate it. The waitress was very nice and offered to replace it but it would take 15mins and we had to leave for a show. Overall extremely disappointed and surprised it was highly reviewed

The food is great. It was my first time trying. They also adjusted with my spice level and I got a complimentary milkshake too as there was slight delay. However, I did not mind the delay but they wanted me to feel welcome. Staff is lovely. Yashasvi is great. Kudos to your kitchen team as well.

Taste bad, service bad. Raman is bad because noodles are really soft. The broth is the broth of instant noodles. The Chau siu pork is too thick and hard to eat. the bun with Korean bbq beef is not good. The bun is the cheapest bun. The price is higher than it should be.

This is my second time visiting and I enjoyed it just as much! Amazing food and great service. Shoutout to Swetal who was brilliant, will definitely be back again!

Swetal and staff at Chi took care of us and really made our visit special. We enjoyed their take on ramen and especially liked the thai green curry and thai fried rice. The strawberry fizz was a hit, and don’t miss the mochi at the end of your meal.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat before going to the museum.Both the service and the food were excellent. Highly recommended.

Enjoyable lunch, pleasantly surprised at the value and differential flavours. Chicken dumpling ramen was a hit (missing pickley goodness though on the carrots) peking dish interesting, fresh and both dishes lovely different flavours. Beer nice and cold. Can’t complain - staff could be a bit chattier but didn’t affect our experience !

At the CHI restaurant, I had an incredible experience. The ambiance was inviting, with soft lighting and cozy seating. The chicken tatsu meal was outstanding – crispy, flavorful, and served with delicious sides. The staff were attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Very dissatisfied with the food, hardly any batter on the Korean fried chicken and the fried chicken bao bun and squid was dry.

Horrible quality. Ordered on 4/29 at 8pm. Chicken bao bun - chicken was overcooked to a point of burnt crisp. Shrimp bang bang had so much breading the shrimp couldn’t even be found. How this place has good ratings is beyond me. Please checkout any other one of thousands of amazing asian food spots in london.

My visit to Chi was truly exceptional. Amidst my exploration of vegetarian options in London, Chi surpassed all expectations with its Veg Katsu curry and Crispy Cauliflower, both extremely delicious. The delightful addition of a refreshing Pina Colada elevated the entire meal. I also had a Raspberry Mochi which was a perfect ending to my meal! What truly made the experience unforgettable was the remarkable hospitality of the manager, Seerat. Her genuine warmth, attentiveness, and valuable recommendations ensured a truly memorable dining experience. I cannot wait to return here soon!

Excellent food. Great choice for vegetariand and vegan, great service and nice chilled out atmosphere. Definetely one of my favourite places to eat in London.

I recently dined at Chi and was thoroughly impressed! From the warm ambiance to the impeccable service by Seerat, every aspect of the experience exceeded my expectations. The menu boasted a delightful array of dishes, each expertly crafted with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. I particularly enjoyed vegetable spring rolls, Thai fried rice, KFC bao and bang bang prawns. The attention to detail and commitment to quality truly shone through in every bite. The vietnamese dirty fries were incredible, the fried chicken was nice, the bao bun and the cucumber salad were average. It was very quiet at lunchtime, and our server Swetal was very helpful and friendly.

I came to this restaurant at 9pm this evening. When I asked table for one person, the waitress literally said NO and didn't say why. There was plenty of empty seats. No wonder no customers coming to eat in this restaurant because the waitress keep refusing customers to SIT.

A good casual spot, however the service was very slow. Unfortunately the reservation fee was not removed from final bill, I have tried to contact the restaurant to have this refunded however all forms of communication I have tried have not been successful; nobody answers the phone, or responds to the requests entered on the site.

If you’re looking for a quick munch to eat when you’re near by shopping and not sure where to go then its a option here and its halal. I think it could be a bit better in terms of portion size and seasoning for bao bun/mandu, but flavour of the curry was nice. Service was quite slow, not very enthusiastica staff. Atmosphere was absolutely freezing in the bathroom and the seating area.

Casual dining, not very busy but very slow service with out a smile! Inattentive and uninterested! Food was overall good, chicken katsu not the best, chicken rice was lovely but mains came out at separate times, not great when we had planned to share as a meal! The employees are rude and neither greet nor speak to you, they serve you badly without enthusiasm and wishing you to leave, if you are a traveler DO NOT come here under any circumstances. Local NOT suitable for tourists.

I got some taka away food after a long day of work. I wanted pad Thai noodles and asked for recommendations between chicken and prawns. The lady said I could do a mix for you is nice. I said great thanks but I wasn’t expecting to pay nearly £16 (instead of £11-12 in the menu) for the mix! There were no more ingredients, just a mix (5 prawns!). Not a great surprise but I was to tired to say anything. The quality was average.

This is a perfect example of a decent restaurant on a bad day. The food was really good but little cold. Mains came out before starters did. Drinks were not served on our table until nearly the end. We voiced our opinion to the manager and she couldn't have been more polite, professional, clam and understanding. She took time to listen carefully of our concerns and she offered us a wide range of options to make it up to us. One being to offer a totally free meal! We turned this down as everyone has to earn a living but agreed to part pay for the dinner which was best for both sides. When making payment she refused the tip and said she'd rather we visit back and tip when we were fully happy with the experience. This is a good restaurant but they were just having a bad day. Every establishment has bad days. Its normal. I would 100% go back on the basis that the food was awesome and the aftercare on our issues were dealt with properly.
