What a gem of a find! I had the momos which were packed with flavour, tempura green beans - perfectly done, chicken katsu which had such a delicious rich katsu sauce, coconut rice which was super fragrant and the burrata which wouldnt have been my usual pick at somewhere like this but it was recommended to me and I'm so glad I listened! The servers were really lovely - very patient with my deliberations over the menu and very friendly. There are so many places in the area to eat it can be hard to know what the top picks are - this is definitely right up there! Oh and the lychee martini was SO GOOD, definitely get that to finish off your meal!

All the dishes were overall quite bland. Asian food is known for being flavourful and full of spices but these dishes were not it. The butter chicken although described as tomato and creamy was lacking in the tomatoe flavour it was just like a bland smokey creamy sauce. The truffle zucchini had no flavour of truffle at all the bowl with zucchini and mushrooms had a mild garlic and chilli flavour. However the zucchini had been poorly cooked and this resulted in it being very wet. We were encouraged to order rice with our food however the rice portions are really quite deceiving, you get way more than you expect. Finally we had the fondant and cheesecake for dessert. The chocolate fondant was pretty good quite rich and gooey inside, but again somehow the icecream was bland there was no vanilla flavour it was just cold and wet. The last disappointment was the basque cheesecake which this was not… a basque cheesecake shouldn’t have shortbread at the bottom and the texture was crumbly which is all wrong. If you don’t have basque cheesecake don’t call it that. Overall just a disappointing meal, I would not recommend this restaurant unless they change their chef or menu. The waiter was friendly and we got one on one treatment as the restaurant was empty… now I know why.

Super tasty food and friendly staff (Swetal)

staff was very friendly and helpful, atmosphere was also nice and pricing was good enough. when i saw the place i wanted to try their ramen but unfortunately i really didn’t like it. there was too little ingredients, (2 thin shredded nori, red pepper but it was really spicy that’s why i couldn’t eat it, egg was toooo salty that’s why i also couldn’t it and finally a little bit of onion.) For me, there should be mushrooms, pickled onion as well. We got the bowls and then they served the soup from pots but broth was different than usual. I really liked the place but i don’t think i can go ever again, it caused stomach problems in me.

Food is served as tapas, it’s delicious and I really recommend the steamed momos, proper traditional Chinese buns. Good atmosphere, never too busy nor loud (very important). Our waiter Swetal was friendly and checking on us. I’ve already visited twice and will be coming back again.

Chicken Kaarage and Chocolate Fondant really nicely cooked. The waitress Swetal, was very pleasant and attentive.

I have been to china town today and wanted to eat lunch near by and found this place . The food was amazing also Yashaswini who served us food was very calm and organised

A great pan-Asian place. The staff was friendly and service was excellent. Tapas style dishes are an interesting twist. Really liked the truffle yuzu salmon and teriyaki skewers. Definitely coming back!

As a traveler visiting London, finding tasty and healthy vegetarian options has been quite a challenge, but discovering "Chi" was a delight! The pan-Asian cuisine here is exceptional, with a perfect balance of flavors and freshness. What truly made my experience memorable was the incredible service by "Shwetal". She was welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure I had a great dining experience. Her knowledge of the menu and friendly demeanor truly stood out. Because of my parents who were little bit awkward for trying totally new culture dish but due to the kitchen guy who was probably Indian I request him to add more spice and he fulfilled it as well. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for delicious vegetarian-friendly pan-Asian food and outstanding hospitality! Once again thank you Vhir Team to make my visit memorable and giving attention to details towards the taste.🙏🏻🌟

Food just wasn’t great, probably one of the worst chinese places i’ve been too, couldn’t finish my food the food was bland and extremely oily, ordered the prawn squid egg fried rice and more and was not enjoyable what’s so ever - staff were extremely kind however.

What amazing food! This was my first visit to Chi and I thought the food was delicious. Freshly prepared, the Asian tapas dishes came out as they were ready. Yashaswini was our server at the New Oxford Street branch. She was very friendly and helpful.

Such a great place with good food and reasonable pricing. I miss their weekday specials, I wish they would come back. Now it is Asian fusion upscale dining. I got the ramen, which was tasty but was missing the appropriate ramen noodles.

We came for the baos but got to try their new menu instead. We ordered a selection of different dishes including peppers, dumplings and ramen which were all good. The ramen was really filling. For dessert we got the miso crème brûlée with yuzu curd and ice cream and the basque cheesecake. The cheesecake was beyond delicious and a must try for anyone going there.

The food and atmosphere of the restaurant was splendid. Above all Swetal Makwana's service was pneumonal. She was so attentive, had the biggest smile and asked all our queries to utmost respect. She noticed it a 'happy birthday' gift bag my cousin had and asked who's birthday it was. She wished my cousin and 10 minutes later she brought a wonderfully plated dessert with a candle. This kind and thoughtful gesture brightened our day up. I hope Swetal gets a rise as this kind of genuine service is very rare. I noticed she was treating all customers with care and made the whole experience warm.

Rubbish rubbish service. They do not meet any requirements. Ive asked for no chicken in my meal they still gave me the meal with chicken and didn’t change it. I repeatedly asked for no chicken. They don’t care they just want their money. I wouldn’t recommend here if you have requirements

Angel served me and she legit is AWESOME. THE SERVICE WAS PHENOMENAL. This was my first time here but maybe my last due to the egg shell being found in my pad Thai rice. I took pics and videos and sent it to this establishment since they don’t have a phone number but nobody has reached out to me yet.

We shared the beef rib tacos, katsu curry and beef rendang and it was all so good! Highly recommend!

Had the chicken teriyaki and the chicken sewers were raw inside. Charred on the outside and raw inside. Hope I don’t get sick.

Best taco and wonderful service

Me and my friend came to the restaurant to have indo Chinese food the service by “”bunny”” was excellent she took care of us in a very proper manner and she suggested the food according to our taste we loved everything and would like to come in future and will recommend to our friends also.

Lovely food for a good price, friendly service

Close to Tottenham Court station. Asian fusion with nice deco, but the service was a bit slow (looks like understaffed, they are nice tho). Ordered beef short rib ramen, the meat portion was amazing, but not the noodle. It's not the proper ramen noodle used, but I guess this is a fusion. Considering the price, it's not bad. Other dishes look small too.

The pad Thai was the worst I've ever had. It was sloppy and the prawns were undercooked and not very fresh. Maybe they had an off night but based on that one experience I would not recommend the place.

We were told the tables were sticky by nature. Lights were flickering. Service was friendly, but slow and inattentive. Several items were not available. The food was average. We've been to the restaurant a year ago and came back bc of the excellent service, the tasty dishes and the good drinks we had back then - now the place seems to be close to shutting its doors.

The food was great and at a fair price! I had the beef curry with rice and naan, my naan was my favourite! Service was great, Vandana was lovely and so helpful. Atmosphere was calm and relaxing, will definitely visit again.

Sadly not good. Had 2 Bao buns, one beef (good) 2nd char sou pork (bad) one tiny cube of pork and the other piece was a soggy slab of pure fat yuck,! Inedible When this was pointed out politely to staff they weren't bothered, didn't discount my bill but I refused to pay service charge. 84 Holborn, London

The food is very good, but the portions are tiny. They greeted us with a smile, but they warned us that there were many dishes not available. The place was very nice, but quite soulless because it was almost empty. They have gluten free options.

The food was okay, won't recommend the Pad Thai Chicken Noodles, smelt funny - was told its the fish smell (what fish I ordered chicken). None of the drinks were available only soft drinks. I asked for water, but had to ask for it again, only then was given 4 glasses when there was 7 of us. Waitress seemed moody, was inattentive, always had to call out loud to get her attention, when the place wasn't busy at all. The toilet was absolutely disgusting, the corridor and toilet smelt of really bad urine. Wouldn't go there again neither would I recommend.

I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. We tried to order a few vegetarian options that were unavailable. Two rice sides with our dish were cold and uncooked, we were afraid we would get sick if we ate it. The waitress was very nice and offered to replace it but it would take 15mins and we had to leave for a show. Overall extremely disappointed and surprised it was highly reviewed

The food is great. It was my first time trying. They also adjusted with my spice level and I got a complimentary milkshake too as there was slight delay. However, I did not mind the delay but they wanted me to feel welcome. Staff is lovely. Yashasvi is great. Kudos to your kitchen team as well.

Added service charge is a big no-no for me.

Taste bad, service bad. Raman is bad because noodles are really soft. The broth is the broth of instant noodles. The Chau siu pork is too thick and hard to eat. the bun with Korean bbq beef is not good. The bun is the cheapest bun. The price is higher than it should be.

We are visiting London and had a wonderful experience at Chi! Our food was delicious and our server, Yashaswini, was exceptionally helpful and lovely to speak with! This is a great place, highly recommend!

Swetal and staff at Chi took care of us and really made our visit special. We enjoyed their take on ramen and especially liked the thai green curry and thai fried rice. The strawberry fizz was a hit, and don’t miss the mochi at the end of your meal.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat before going to the museum.Both the service and the food were excellent. Highly recommended.

Enjoyable lunch, pleasantly surprised at the value and differential flavours. Chicken dumpling ramen was a hit (missing pickley goodness though on the carrots) peking dish interesting, fresh and both dishes lovely different flavours. Beer nice and cold. Can’t complain - staff could be a bit chattier but didn’t affect our experience !

At the CHI restaurant, I had an incredible experience. The ambiance was inviting, with soft lighting and cozy seating. The chicken tatsu meal was outstanding – crispy, flavorful, and served with delicious sides. The staff were attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I'll definitely be coming back!

Very dissatisfied with the food, hardly any batter on the Korean fried chicken and the fried chicken bao bun and squid was dry.

My visit to Chi was truly exceptional. Amidst my exploration of vegetarian options in London, Chi surpassed all expectations with its Veg Katsu curry and Crispy Cauliflower, both extremely delicious. The delightful addition of a refreshing Pina Colada elevated the entire meal. I also had a Raspberry Mochi which was a perfect ending to my meal! What truly made the experience unforgettable was the remarkable hospitality of the manager, Seerat. Her genuine warmth, attentiveness, and valuable recommendations ensured a truly memorable dining experience. I cannot wait to return here soon!

Horrible quality. Ordered on 4/29 at 8pm. Chicken bao bun - chicken was overcooked to a point of burnt crisp. Shrimp bang bang had so much breading the shrimp couldn’t even be found. How this place has good ratings is beyond me. Please checkout any other one of thousands of amazing asian food spots in london.

Excellent food. Great choice for vegetariand and vegan, great service and nice chilled out atmosphere. Definetely one of my favourite places to eat in London.
