I was here for the second time on my trip to England and I'm thrilled again! The food is great, you get a warm welcome and the atmosphere in the pub is cozy and very welcoming to travellers. I had many nice conversations and was able to spend the night in my van in the hotel's own car park both times. My dog was also really pampered :) I would love to come back!

We stopped here on our way for a Sunday roast and were not disappointed: staff really attentive and friendly (and generally very dog-friendly) and we loved their hospitality. The food was fresh and extremely delicious, nice atmosphere and reasonably priced. We were amazed at the vegetarian and vegan options for the roast, which were also exquisite! We can really recommend stopping by (reservation might be advisable, it filled quite fast).

Great little pub! Thursday nights are pie night apparently, so that was an added bonus on our visit - and they were awesome! Staff were great and really friendly and helpful and even brought out a bed and bowl of water for our puppy!! Its got a big car park and even a dog station with water, treats and even 💩 bags. There's also a village shop to the right as you walk in to pick up a few essentials. All in all a great pub and happily visit again 👍

What a lovely find! A group of cousins all met up for a meal and this was half way between us all. Quite varied menu and very good value for money. Decent sized portions too! Also, on arrival, we were asked about allergies. Well done to the staff as not all places do this. Oh....and very importantly....the toilets were spotless! All in all, thoroughly recommended. We will be back!

What an absolute gem, we came for the lamb shanks and they did not disappoint!! We then thought it would be rude not to have dessert and since they all sounded yummy we couldn’t decide and ordered the “ dessert platter” that was delicious and has to be the best dessert idea I have seen. Karen thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality your premises is gorgeous and so interesting. We had a wonderful evening

Lovely British pub with a perfect British pub feel and perfectly kept ales and perfect service. We understand hospitality after running our own pub and understand how difficult kit is to stand out. The food was simple fresh pub fair. Our only thoughts where that with everything else that the pub had right the food felt a little bit plonked on the plate, lacked attention to presentation. And for the money wasn’t particularly memorable. Chef this is meant as a constructive opinion. We would visit again next time we are in the area. All the best to The Bell Inn Team for the future. 🙏🏻

Incredibly racist people in this place. My family and I went in to a mostly empty pub at 1pm and they turned us away being “fully booked.” No welcome, no offer to sit outside with the plenty of empty tables, turned us away. The only POC in the restaurant. Never. Ever. Go.

The pub sits alongside the road and has a car park around the back, the church is to the other side of the pub, it's a lovely looking building nestled in a quite village. The hostess/bar lady was fantastic, making all visitors very welcome and had a great sense of humour. What was very nice was she checked for any dietary requirements and if vegan/vegetarian too, which is important to some. The fireplace is lovely and warm on a winters night and the atmosphere and internal look is very quaint and almost like stepping back in time, in a good way. Very relaxed and a cosy feel, which is very welcome. The food was certainly varied and very good quality/standard, also prices weren't exorbitant which was very pleasing. Overall a great pub, lots of atmosphere and a very warm welcome awaits you, what more could you ask for. We'll be back for sure, hope you try it too. Enjoy soaking up the atmosphere 👍

Nice place to go out with or meet up with people. Unfortunately won't be returning due to their high prices £5.10 for a pint of Carling. REALLY???? No disrespect meant but I won't pay that. I'm aware that the owners are now moving onto the Courthouse around the corner. I said in my review of the Courthouse that if your prices is anything to go by, then the chance that I give the Courthouse will be short lived. £5.10 for a pint of Carling is far too much.
