What an amazing Sunday roast lunch we had. Our hosts were super friendly and service is the best we have had in the UK so far. Pub has a wonderful and homey atmosphere. Our first time in the UK and this is definitely the experience we had hoped for. Food was amazing, if you are visiting Stonehenge you must simply get yourself here.

Great place for a stopover. Locals were helpful and gave us directions to a lovely Riverside walk. The pub was very friendly, had their brew under the vine entwined pergola before having a very tasty and large fish platter from an interesting menu . We will certainly find roads to the Bell again.

Delightful little old vintage village pub with excellent food, plenty of parking, and just off the A303/A30 a much better option than the service areas. Serving nice beer and cider, cool inside, thanks to the thick walls. Friendly efficient staff. Both the Ploughman's and Chicken Parmigiano were excellent. Nice small village location with eating outside as well.

We stopped here on a drive down the A303 - it's a fantastic 'proper' country pub, with a good beer selection and a great menu. Gluten / dairy free very well catered for with individual menus, and the option of a gluten free fryer. The staff were super friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. We had the churrasco steak, and the chip shop platter (large but worth it!) And the desserts were fantastic - a dairy free creme brulee, and a light and airy sticky toffee pudding! We can't wait to stop by on our next trip, thank you!

What an absolute gem of a find! We stopped in on a whim, and were treated to an absolutely perfect lunch and a pint. The regular menu of home cooked pub classics is amazing, but better still the vegetarian menu is just as good, and extensive to boot. The cask ale we had was brewed onsite by the landlord, and the welcome and service we received was first class; I believe the lady was the publican’s daughter in law. Spring has sprung, but there was still a log fire burning… definitely our kind of pub.

Nice place to go out with or meet up with people. Unfortunately won't be returning due to their high prices £5.10 for a pint of Carling. REALLY???? No disrespect meant but I won't pay that. I'm aware that the owners are now moving onto the Courthouse around the corner. I said in my review of the Courthouse that if your prices is anything to go by, then the chance that I give the Courthouse will be short lived. £5.10 for a pint of Carling is far too much.
