Exceptional, as always. Regularly get a take away and the food quality and flavours are delicious. Had one this evening, spot on from the ‘no fresh coriander please’ couple. Always a treat, thank you Hassan and co. For your hospitality and service. We have tried many, some of which are closer but nothing compares. Look forward to the next one already :-)

Absolutely amazing, food was heavenly, staff were wonderful. I went in late (10:30pm) and they were so welcoming, waited on me and were super friendly. Had the whole place to myself. Best ever experience in a restaurant ever.

Didn't care that the delivery was late. Kept on saying that the driver had already left.

I ordered a take away at 6pm to be what I thought was helpful a e-mail telling me my delivery wait time….. oh how wrong was I… I got my delivery at 8.15pm. I rang 3 times and every update another 10mins its out for delivery! So it wasn’t that hot when I did receive it! 😡

Went on Tuesday with three friends on my mate Cookies recommendation, had a banging Chicken Balti, beer was cold and the staff were great. Very good, very nice.

Placed an order for two and was told it would be delivered in 1 hour, 1 hour 30 mins later still no delivery. I called to ask and told another 10 mins, because its raining!!!! I have had the same issue the past two orders, this place has really gone down hill. Not even an apology or refund of the £2.50 delivery charge. Not acceptable......

It’s our local Indian, usually it’s spot on, tastes delicious. Once again usually quick service but tonight it was shocking food was cold and not cooked properly. it was over an hr wait for delivery of food what is absolutely shocking. Tried to get hold of the restaurant had to phone them at least 7 times before they answered the phone. Really shocking behaviour for a restaurant.

Ordered online for delivery and can’t complain at all. Asked for chicken korma, chicken tikka masala, plain rice and plain naan. All arrived in time and was delicious with generous portion. Will definitely order again.

The food and service was amazing as usual. Unfortunately it was so cold it took away the enjoyment from the family meal we went out for. You do not expect to go into a restaurant and have to eat with your coat on!

Apsolute Robbery. Family ordered and waited to point we all just give up and went to bed after hours of phone calls and just eat only warranted part refund. A case of buy and don’t recive and family grumpy. Shame on local Indian. Bad bad bad wish I could wright more

Ordered a takeaway last night for a friend visiting from London and I have to say it was one of the best. If not the best Indian food I’ve had in the past seven years. They have an amazing vegan section for my friend. I had onion bhaji, chicken, curry and onion rice and it was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant it’s very special.

We ordered a takeaway and thought we would try somewhere different. I am so glad we did, the menu and food options are so varied. I normally only have a choice of 2 dishes that I like but here I had 7! We really loved the ginger rice. Our dinner was fantastic and we will be ordering again. Our favourite takeaway from now on.

Appalling customer service. Failed to deliver a takeaway after more than double the time estimated and when called to query we were met with lies from an aggressive, rude manager. Will never order from here again.

Four of us went on a quiet Sunday night and found it to be just as good as ever.Not that local to me but worth the drive.The service was first class and the freshly cooked food was excellent for all 4 of us in every way.We had a wide variety of mains and side dishes and each one was faultless. Was very reasonable too and am sure we’ll be back soon.Thoroughly recommend

Love the curry here, always get a chicken silsila and peshwari naan. Staph are always super nice and friendly too. Couldn’t recommend more

We often order here for home delivery. It's probably one of my favourite curries I have had in Andover. I usually have Chicken Tikka Saag which always has great flavour and the chicken is always tender. The only thing I would say is the jalfrezi usually isn't hot enough so we have to call and ask for more chillies to be added and it depends on who you ask as to how many extra chillies you get. The flavour is always nice but the spicyness can by hit and miss. Delivery is a tad expensive but is so worth it for the flavourful food. Never order from another curry place ever these days! Price range is about average for a curry in Andover.

Myself and my partner ordered from this establishment and when the food arrived and we began to tuck in we were greeted with undercooked rices and chicken , so we phoned the restaurant to inform them with this information they passed it off as it was our fault and they couldn't do anything about it. We won't be ordering from this places again we are very disappointed

Ordered takeout from here chicken was not cooked had to throw away when tried to call and say about it they didn't want to know would not recommend eating here or getting a takeout from here

It has been several years since we last ate here and during that time, the restaurant has changed hands. The menu included numerous items I had never come across before. My wife had a chicken Makhanwala which she thoroughly enjoyed and I had a chicken Silsila. If there is any criticism it is that we found both dishes to be too sweet. Service was friendly and attentive.

Brought my family of three, although we were a bit late for lunch we were warmly welcomed and feasted on an absolutely delicious meal! Will come back again soon!

A great experience, we felt very welcome and were well looked after. The food was excellent, presented beautifully, and everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. I had the mixed grill, which was a feast for the eyes and the stomach. My wife was very happy with the vegetarian and vegan options.

Never order drinks from here with your meal I have never received one on delivery. Doubt you would get a drink sat in the restaurant 😆

We have ordered from Mughal several times since moving to a local village. Delighted they deliver and the food, every time, has been very tasty which has brought us back. However, as a spice lover I found the spice levels lacking in certain dishes. This evening I write this review after having the Chicken Naga dish delivered and I have to say it was beautiful. Spicy, tasty and the flavour of the chilli really shone through, no powders here.

Another absolutely lovely meal from Faz and team tonight. Always welcomed by all the staff. No rushing you, Nice cold beer and food cooked to perfection.

Have ordered delivery around 5 times now, and everytime it tastes amazing and arrives hot. This time something was missed from my order, however after a quick phone call a replacement and extras were delivered to my door within 30 minutes. Great service and great food.

Came here to meet up with a friend. Booked a table online which was easy enough. Had popadoms to start which were really nice with the garnishes. Then when it came to taking the main course order it did take a while. We did find out a server was off sick so there was only one server working the restaurant. There were takeaway orders going out throughout the evening with the various delivery drivers. The food was tasty, just service a bit slow.

Wow this was the best Indian I have had in a long time and so we are clear I come from Bradford in Yorkshire and it was on par with some of the best curries I've ever had. Likewise my friend fro me Bolton said exactly the same. The owner was also fantastic very friend. Don't carry on reading any more reviews put your phone down and go here now you won't regret it.

We had the most amazing takeaway this Saturday night, 17th September. This restaurant deservedly gets excellent reviews for four reasons: extremely high quality food, consistency, really good value and friendly, efficient staff. They still offer military discount which is so patriotic and respectful of the armed services. My yardstick for measuring consistency and quality is a dhansak; my chicken tikka dhansak with extra sauce was excellent, and all of our dishes were fresh, generous and not at all oily. Whilst waiting for our takeaway, I met another customer waiting for his takeaway; he was a regular, and he waxed lyrical about the quality of food and service over many years. Overall, I would commend this restaurant as exemplary for how a top quality Indian restaurant should be. We very much look forward to our next meal there.

APPALLLING - NO SERVICE at all!!!!! Took my payment, and emailed to say order went through. Then nothing - drove there and it was closed. Trying to get my money back - but no response at all!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!

We have been here once before so thought we would book again so I booked online for a 1pm lunchtime with my wife when we arrived it was shut so we knocked on the door and the chef came out and we said we had booked online for a 1pm sitting but the chef didn't know that they had any bookings So he invited us in and he was very polite he said he was the chef and that the waiter wasn't in would we mind if he served us to which me and my wife said that was absolutely fine we had poppadoms for starters and then we had chicken korma that the chef cooked for us which me and my wife had to agreed that it was the best korma that we both have every tasted ,the chicken was succulent and the korma sauce was to die for ,we have booked again for Wednesday night banquet night The chef even gave us a onion bargee free of charge ,he was very accommodating to our needs so 10 out of 10 for a first class service and we would 100% recommend to anyone who wants a tasty Indian meal Thank you from the guy on the crutches and his wife

Yet again, we had a lovely meal this evening. Tender lamb, succulent chicken and so well spiced. Efficient service and good value for money.

Although an unplanned visit when we visited, the four of us had a superb meal, no complaints whatsoever. The food was excellent, the waiter attentive but not pushy, we have had a couple of takeaways from here, but sitting in the restaurant the food tasted even better. Would thoroughly recommend.

Sadly having been our favourite curry and go to place they have dropped in service and seem to prefer putting takeaways first 🥲. Our last visit we sat for over 30 mins just waiting for a drink then the main meal took over a hour and half whilst we watched take away after takeaway going out!! There were other tables also waiting for a longtime!! I suggest when busy you take the phone off the hook and catch up on your customers front of house give them the service they deserve and not rushed out burnt food. All the food was such a lower standard due to rushing when you had a gap in takeaway. Such a shame you let your selfs down for what seemed like greed for money. 8 people will not be returning for a long time now such a shame. Not even a drink offered on the house or a popadoms!!!

We have been here a few times now and every time we have been, it has been excellent. The food is great quality and there is plenty of choice for vegetarians and vegans. The staff are always really friendly and helpful and they will tailor dishes to suit your needs and preferences. I would highly recommend. I have only ever been on a week night and I haven't needed to book (even in the current pandemic) but I don't know how it would be on a Friday or Saturday.

First time here since it was taken over. The team where great and pleasant, unlike the old owner, and had a good chat while waiting for our order. The food is just as good if not better than it was before. Definitely will come back as normal as it's still the best Indian around. Thanks guys.

The restaurant is under new management and whilst that doesn't always mean an improvement on previous standards, in this case it does. The new menu includes many new dishes and the presentation is good. The staff are friendly and polite to a fault. Food can be ordered online and there is free home delivery on orders of £15 minimum. There is a 10% discount on takeaway collection on orders over £15. Highly recommended.

New owners are now putting their mark onto this established restaurant. The menu has changed slightly, the standard of food is just as good and the staff are friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone passing through who fancies a good reasonably priced meal.

What a fantastic evening Faz and the team were outstanding food was top notch and the service was excellent .Faz really went out of his way to put his professional customer service to test and believe me it was welcomed by all. Highly recommend. Fantastic food and fantastic staff, I would strongly recommend the Mughal to anyone. As a heat lover they have always been more than willing to accommodate my requests whilst consistently delivering a curry packed full of flavour and tender meat. Sides and breads are also top tier. Genuinely a business that takes pride in the food and service they provide. Update Seems to have recently changed hands (09/07/21 update), last few curries i had (Vindaloo) were watery and tasted like someone tried to make the previous orders korma hot, flavours lacking and not complementing of a Vindaloo. Tandoori chicken excessively salty and Peshwari Naan lacking flavour and over sweet. Hopefully quality improves as previously was consistently good
