The Bell Inn in Wiltshire

Every single thing we ate was beyond delicious. David was the consummate host, and Belle had the softest ears. We couldn’t have asked for a better host or accommodations. Thank you again so much!

Such a lovely family own this pub and have clearly poured their hearts into it. The rooms are very comfortable and homely and the food second to none - you will need a good appetite as it’s too good to leave! Highly recommended!

OUTSTANDING lunch, with amazing service! Very close to Stonehenge. This is a must if youre looking for a place to stop close by!

Beautiful pub, lovely accommodation, and great service from the owners set up were amazing, couldn't fault the rooms very private and clean, fantastic views, all round worth a visit, and not forgetting the Beautiful but shy Belle (family rescue Dog).

During our ride from Devon back to Suffolk, we decided to stop here to escape the torrential storm we were in on our Motorcycles. We walked in and they pointed out radiators where we could put our very much soaked gear and ourselves to warm up. We ordered food and it was perfectly cooked. The tea was a god send and warmed us up. Once again thank you to the staff for being so accommodating.

Stayed for 2 nights and we were very happy with the experience. We stayed in room 5 and were pleasantly surprised by a few nice touches, including the quality bedlinen, good quality coffee machine and the breakfast arrangements (continental style pre-issued the night before, utilising the mini fridge in the room). We did not hear any road traffic and were also very lucky to have good weather each morning so we were able to enjoy breakfast in the garden. The location is convenient for accessing Salisbury City centre and also Salisbury racecourse. On our first night we dined at the pub and were very happy with the menu choices and the quality of the meal, which was good value including reasonably priced drinks. My only wish was that the room had a double bed instead of twins, but we had left booking late and this was known to us beforehand. Would happily recommend!

Stayed via campervan/ britstops scheme David, and dog "Bell" were most welcoming . Allowed us to just sit n play games, there's a pool and darts in the bar area. Car park is safe with a lovely river view. Ehu available for a small fee.

Nice place only put 3stars because on a very busy main road and at times hard to get across to ur car also we had a twin room nice and cosy but a bit small if u were staying longer than a weekend for storage but lovley friendly place and nice atmosphere in pub

I was on my travelling around Europe and and my business log in picked up my uk trip. I'm the owner of the business. My family stood with you overnight with our rv, you we busy but the food was amazing and you were very welcoming to us. We thank you. Apologies for the confusion.

Stopped in here in a whim on the way back from a rainy day at Longleat and wow!! The food was amazing! Obviously alot of love and care has gone into this place! The resident dog is beautiful, the garden is phenomenal and the inside is do comforting and warming. The only thing I will say is I didn't enjoy listening to the owners talking about customers behind their backs. However, that aside we would definitely come back! Thank you for being so welcoming.

Food was excellent. Gated car park required a code to exit.

Vam tenir un problema amb el darrer hotel i vam escollir aquest. Una habitació davant del pub. Molt correcte. Sorprenentment es menja de fàbula al pub. El lloc molt a prop d'Stonegen.

Was on the area visiting family and wanted to stay local , so glad we did , spent Saturday evening and night at the Bell Inn , the room we was put in was beautifully presented and very clean , the food was delicious and the company fantastic , very warm welcome from Dave and Nicky and Bell the dog , highly recommended. Will definitely be staying again . Ohhh and by the way Dave and Nicky the Disney mugs were in our room 😁

We went here last night and had fabulous food! We tried fresh veg soup, tempura prawns, the beef burger, sweet potato fries and ceasar salad. All were delicious and served beautifully. Staff are really friendly with a good choice of beers. Excellent value for money. We also bought a beautiful unique piece of art from local artist M.R.D. of Stonhenge on wood. If you're in the area you must go here. Small menu and tasty!

Hier was echt alles voorzien. Het was héél netjes, een 10 op 10 voor hygiëne. Een tien ook voor dineren. De kaart was eenvoudig, maar wat we aten was super lekker. Ook heel vriendelijke mensen. We verbleven slechts één nacht omdat we op doorreis waren, maar we hadden er wel een langere periode willen blijven. Sterrenhotels kunnen hier gerust hun master halen!

Lovely lunch today with the kids & grandkids. Spotlessly clean, food was delicious & staff friendly & chatty. Had a dog with us which the landlady made a fuss of and was very welcoming. Will definitely return

Have driven past this pub so many times before but today……Stopped off for a bite to eat. I’m very happy we did! What a fabulous little pub!!! Friendly and welcoming with the best fish and chips I can ever remember having!!! Will definitely not be driving by again without stopping!!

The best roast dinner in salisbury without a doubt

Toller alter Pub, sehr nette Betreiber. Wir waren auf der Durchreise und durften eine Nacht dank Brit Stops auf dem Parkplatz des Pub‘s übernachten. Tolle Brit Stop Location. Mit Wiese an einem Bachlauf und Bänken. Gutes Bier😊 Update: Da es uns beim ersten Mal so gut gefallen hat, haben wir spontan entschieden, bei der Rückreise nochmals auf dem schönen Stellplatz direkt am Pub zu übernachten. Das Essen war gut und die Besitzer sehr nett. Es war wieder ein schöner Abend👏🏼

A stale place run by two very angry people who can get aggressive-the landlord shouted at us and we're not the first apparently! They argue with each other as well, it's awful, they clearly hate the business they're in and treat guests like a nuisance. About the place itself: there are no proper curtains so you get all the light in the room at 4 in the morning. There were whiskers in the sink, old decor, a super strong air freshener to presumably hide bad smells, and a dirty coffee machine. Awful awful awful.

Came here passing by on the way through and were super glad we did. Friendly owner, amazing food all home cooked which you can absolutely tell we would recommend if passing by to stop in for decent food for a good price. Thank you.
