A very nice pub with a chill atmosphere 👌

Stopped in here while on a walk around Devizes. We found the staff behind the bar friendly. Though we only stayed for a couple of drinks the atmosphere in the pub was pleasant and friendly, we would definitely suggest this as a stop on a tour of Devizes.

Firstly, I'd like to thank the whole team for hosting the Euros! You all worked so hard, always smiling and totally professional! Thank you. Secondly.. the food is amazing, great quality, huge portion, very reasonable prices and a great choice of food.

Always a lively atmosphere in The Bell and is the place to be when the sports are on. Reasonably priced drinks and great food. Pool tables, darts, more TVs than I can count. Staff couldn't be friendlier, always putting on events. Get down to The Bell. 🍻

A lovely pub full of friendly staff and always has a great atmosphere! James, Trish and Elysia are an amazing team and nothing is too much for their customers! They are welcoming and attentive and they pour a great pint! Ample selection of lagers to choose from and always enjoy coming to watch the footie.

Amazing family run business food is plentiful and reasonably priced James and Trish and there lovely and courteous Daughter are always very accommodating

People don't go anywhere near this pub. Family run and they don't care about their customers. Extremely gobby daughter who serves short measures and tells you straight to your face she doesn't care. Unbelievable. The only customers they get are football fans who come in to watch a match at volume 100. Otherwise the place is empty and subject to their dreadful attitude and behaviour towards their customers. I have reported them to the brewery and to weights and measures, but as the daughter says, she doesn't care.

Wonderful pub full of lovely staff. They really care about their customers and get to know any regulars really well. It’s obvious the owners really care about the pub and the people in it. Always feel comfortable and safe there. Have all different kinds of sport on with a juke box for when there’s nothing on and pool tables. Good drinks, good food, good vibes.

Such a great pub, staff are amazing so kind and friendly, make me and my friend always feel welcome when we come in. Best place to go in town if you want to watch any sort of sport. Would deffo recommend to anyone who wants a good night.

Family based pub with excellent service and great variety of drinks available. Pool tables and dart boards readily available along with many screens for live sport. Music on when no sport is live. Couldn’t recommend more!

Really friendly staff, lots of drinks options. Really relaxed vibe with loads of seating and space to hang out with friends. Only small criticism, nothing vegan or marked vegan on the menu, so didn’t order food when the rest of my group did.

Great food. More of a sports bar than a food pub.

This is a sports bar that happens to do great food. Burgers hotdogs cooked well and make it your own way. Want a triple stack no problem. Pulled pork on your chips sorted. Also great ales and normal lagers at a good price. We go as a group of 8-10 older men and always the service is brilliant food hot beer perfect.

Popped in today to kill some time before a rugby match up the road. What a find! Really welcoming, amazing burgers, chips and onion rings, the salad was fresh crisp and varied. Can't wait till my son plays rugby against Devizes again 👍

Great atmosphere, good pool table and lovely cider

Very friendly service, food was delivered quickly and was plentiful and very good. Not a huge amount of seating though. But I would definitely recommend if some substantial grub is needed!

well what do you want if you are catching up with mates with a burgyand a pint. You want a good value tasty well presented burger and a Wadsworth pint. You get both at the Bell. The burger was the one you remember from the past, meaty tasty and a good bun. The chips were skin on skinny fries, hot and crisp. The beer was clear an flavourful and the team were attentive interested and proficient. All in all a great experience for 6 blokes aged from 33 to 56. Highly recommended.

Sadly it would seem Covid has hit the pub hard. Landlord and landlady are great, friendly and knowledgeable. Shame there are no cask ale

This place is always my go to when I'm in town! It has a relaxed atmosphere and great to grab some food and a bit of sport on the huge mainscreen and many flat screen tvs around the bar. The portion sizes of food are very generous and can fill even the most demanding of appetites; excellent value for money! The staff are always helpful, friendly and chatty. I would reccomend The Bell By The Green to everyone.

Popped in here for a bite to eat and a quick pint as this lovely little pub was highly recommended when I asked someone where to go. And I can see why it was. The food was outstanding everything was cooked to perfection and the staff were brilliant. They couldn’t do enough for you to make sure you was made to feel welcome as soon as toy walked in to the pub. I will definitely be going back in to this pub again and again when I’m in the lively little town of Devizes. And I would highly recommend this beautiful pub to anyone who was wanting a nice meal and to be made welcome.

Hate sports bars,and bar too small. Why on earth take out beautiful old style bar and replace with modern rubbish. Destroyed pub atmosphere completely. Don't drink there any more.

Decent pub, great for live sports, 7 screens so wherever you are you get a view. Not a fan of Wadworth beers really and it would be nice if there were sandwiches available rather than just nuts and crisps.

Came in looking for some dinner quite late and they were absolutely lovely. Wonderful couple who looked after us fantastically, even with our late entrance. Food was great and service brilliant. You can really tell those who run it genuinely care about their business and customers, a breath of fresh air compared to most establishments in bigger cities.

The Bell has been revamped looks lovely very well done I went to play a game of skittles in the back hopefully that will get done out next have to go in for a drink one night to get proper feel of the place

Not really my type of pub but needed a place to meet some friends and as they were from some way away,and this was the only place they knew. Recently refurbished, it's more of a sports bar these days serving overpriced Wadworth ales, none of which were particularly well kept. Lots of kids in there, noisy, and totally not my scene. But each to their own I guess.
