We arnt from the area but stumbled across this little gem! Landlady is lovely. Great atmosphere! Amazing prices and lovely and clean!

When I arrived they were trying to fix an issue with the speakers. So I was ignored, the landlord looked at me but didn't even acknowledge my presence so I left. The decor was a dull greenish colour. Won't go again.

This place has cheap beers, and big screen TVs. I noticed some of the people here however are so drunk you will need subtitles to understand what they are talking about.

They made repairs in the facility, but the toilet lid in the men's toilet fell off 2 years ago and is still falling off now, so it is constantly dirty. There is cheap beer and pool, free darts. Cozy backyard

Another traditional local pub. Nicely located in Leytonstone High Road. Situated directly between the Fire Station and what was the Police station (get it?)☺️ (edit) August 2023 There is a Caribbean food hut outside, I assume on weekends only. Very nice food. Pub as far as I know doesn't do food in general (Edit) May 2024 Not sure if the food van is still outside. I'm guessing not. ** Pub under new management ** Friendly bar staff, lively (but friendly regulars). Changes on a few draft beers. Low prices and live sporting events (many screens). When sport isn't showing or request the staff controlled duke box or MTV on screens play popular 80's 90's music including club classics. Now back to being a good pub to visit.

Went lunch time. No one was in there only one customer. Atmosphere was not there maybe was time I went. But will go again when in the area.

The best pub in East London. Great atmosphere and quality drinks. It has that Leytonstone vibe.

Nothing wrong with it we had a wake here only problem I HAD was they made kids leave the premises at 7 and wouldn't serve untill they left even outside but kids don't go pub so can't complain I suppose nothing wrong with the bell

Terrible place, every time they open people are fighting on the street even at late night. Just stay at home and have a camomile.

a locals only pub i have drunken in a couple of times and it's seemed fairly harmless from the outside but i often sense a great evil lurking inside late at night

Great cheap pub in Leytonstone with a great crowd, service and an authentic atmosphere... Also a great place to watch the footie or any other sports... Did we also mention that they've got a pool table

Nice pub. Pop in here sometimes. Staff are always polite. And people that are there are always friendly. Its deft a locals place. Always see someone i know in here as i live in leytonstone. Been here on a Friday night and sat nite as well. Always had a great time. Good music. Good local place to go. I dont think they do food. But if they did they would make a killing. I recommend this place

I went to meet up with friends for a drink and catch up, we did not order food. Very nice welcoming atmosphere great landlords.

The Tomahawk steak was by far the tastiest ever. But with the potato gratin instead of fries this dish was more than anything in food heaven. Lovely decor, Friendly staff. I can't recommend this steakhouse highly enough. Thank you Landlord Kevin of the Bell Pub across the road for recommendation.

Popped in here with a friend as it is her local pub. I have to say it was very welcoming and had a lovely atmosphere with the locals doing karaoke and the friendly, helpful bar staff. They drinks are very reasonably priced, and there is a great selection on offer of alcohol and non alcoholic drinks. There was a bit of a wait for the pool table, but it wasn't too bad. The toilets were clean and well stocked, and the seating area was also very clean and tidy. There is an outside smoking area and always has polite security too. I would return here

Great boozer , and unusually good and cheap pints! Sadly went back on Sat to watch the England Vs Springboks rugby, but they didn't have the channel so a few of us went elsewhere. Still a great spot for a pint.

There was a dead fly in my drink! I told the lady bartender and she questioned me how it got there, then reluctantly replaced it without an apology! Awful stroppy service!!

A plain but welcoming pub on the High Street. The Bell is a great place with plenty of beer from the keg on offer with a couple of pumps available for cask offerings. Even a pool table for the sporty among us! There is also a sizable courtyard garden at the rear for the outdoor lovers. All in all, a fine place indeed!

Disappointments Disabled toilet is a store cupboard . Happy points Visited while Ska n mash was DJing the Jamaica independence gig. Cheap and cheerful. Had a satisfying evening with the regulars.

I have mixed feelings about this place. It's an old-fashioned boozer of a type I thought had disappeared, being devoted to football, with absolutely HUGE screens on every possible wall, so when a game is on, there's no escape. Given the location, it was full of West Ham supporters, who were in an unusually jovial mood, as their team was winning, and going top of the league in the process. Devotees of the kick up the grass will know just how unusual this is, and a look at the fixture list and league table is advisable for anyone who is not a fan of the hammers before your visit. On the occasion of mine, I was disappointed to see that no ales were available, and as I don't enjoy the gassy mediocrity of the yellow stuff with nicknames such as wifebeater, I had to settle for a pint of the black stuff, which was its usual bland and boring self. The staff were friendly, the local cribbage team companionable, and my partner and I were able win, thus salvaging something from an otherwise unrewarding evening. The chips were nice as well

Had a quick pint thete yesterday with a mate. All decked out for Euro 2020 and table service currently. Their Pizza's are really good and they bring 'em out with your booze. Backgarden in shade for summer evenings drinking! Great place to watch live sports.

The Bell pub is a proper pub..Clean toilets and good service. Seating area to front of pub. Garden area with television and garden seating. BUT most of all,the prices of their beer are cheaper than the over priced pubs local North Chingford where the prices 30 to 40persent more expensive. Same beer much more expensive ?????

A pub with no think going for it management whevere new or old seem to allow the same riff raff in to keep a dying business a float the pub is segregated as you walk in on the right is an area often filled with drug dealers or intimidating figures and the left side is the regular bums that have no think better to do all day and night often a lot of trouble there involving management and customers there is no security often people are way to intoxicated people have often smashed property e.g. doors and windows when drunk in anger and are still allowed to come and go this place is better left to die and hope that the owners realise they need to drasticly change that venue over than that it's ok I would recommend finding a better pub close by
