The Beehive Inn in North Warwickshire

Been using the Beehive for some time ,booked a table for Sunday lunch thought it was strange when I pulled into the car park it was empty it's normally busy, walked in and there were a handful of people normally every table Is full we ordered a carvery and was told it would be a 45 minute wait, 2 people sitting by us had their food brought to them after a couple of minutes the guy called the waiter over and told him it was cold the waiter took it away the couple walked out 4 other people sent their food back, after 1 hour our food arrived it wasn't hot the roasted potatoes were hard and raw the mash was cold the only hot part of the meal was the meat not an enjoyable meal won't be going in there again, was told it was under new management well all I can say is get your act together as this was a nice place but not anymore.

Updated my review, as new owners have lost the soul of this once welcoming, friendly, packed pub, which has lost all its charm since the new owners took over the pub. Won't be going again.

Had a lovely meal at the Beehive good value for money and staff are lovely Tristan and Adam doing a fantastic job…would highly recommend a visit

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Can't comment on the atmosphere because we were there early Monday lunchtime and not many in. However, it suited us having a nice catch up. Best wishes to the new landlord and staff.

Really surprised to read the 'disgruntled staff' comment on here, family member works here and absolutely adores working there. New management have taken it over and full of enthusiasm and innovative ideas. Really good Managers who treat their staff properly with fair pay, contracts, training and backing staff up and on hand all the time. All staff work hard and enjoy their job, their opinions are valued with staff contributing their ideas of things to put on at pub. Food is absolutely fine, absolutely no complaints. Some great activities and events being planned and can't wait to take the grandkids to meet Santa and have breakfast. Bit shout out to fab barmaid Olivia who brings lots of fun and laughter and looks after all the customers. Well done Beehive Pub.

Absolutely lovely time at the Beehive. Had a Chicken Tikka Masala and it was sooo good. Coulda had a second plate to be honest! Can get quite loud, so for anyone who can get a bit overwhelmed, just be prepared, although the folks here, in front of behind the bar, are so friendly!

Absolutely love this place. Staff are lovely and the atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming. The steak was really nice. All round lovely place highly recommend! 😁

Great village pub with a friendly atmosphere. All staff are extremely friendly and make you feel like your part of the family. The service is speedy with great quality food and good portion sizes for the price. Kids menu was fantastic and both my boys were treated kindly and with respect. They were both also given colouring to do which is proudly sitting on the pub wall which both kids were extremely excited about. I will definitely be heading up there a lot more often now and want to thank the staff for all their hard work in making this pub a great place to visit. Can't wait to see you all at one the quizzes or live music nights!

Came here to support one eyed dog band. Lovely pub in the Cudworth village. The service and the atmosphere was great. Would visit again.

Staff are polite. some issues are firing staff for absolutely no reason and making them work 8+ hour shifts with no break because it’s so busy. Food they claim is “fresh” but is actually all microwaved, kitchen is dirty and so are the microwaves that everything is cooked in. They also tell their staff at the last minute that they need to stay extra time or ask them to come in for a shift at the last minute. This is a real shame as the place used to be so good before, and the fact they own two pubs as well is bizarre to me considering the new owners can’t do their job properly. Hiring underage workers and taking them off shift for no reason as well. They need to sort their priorities out, threatening staff and swearing at them as well. Complaining they don’t have staff yet they fire people for absolutely no reason make it make sense mate. this place is such a disappointment and it’s so unhealthy to give customers microwaved food instead of fresh food, and it’s also putting the staff’s health at risk making the work so many long hours with no break. you can tell they don’t care about the staff’s health because they never tell them “oh you’ve worked so hard you deserve a break” besides i know some of the staff there who have asthma and heart conditions and making them basically break their back at work can be detrimental to their health. absolute disgrace.

When the manager tells the bar staff to concentrate on the restaurant because the bar customers are less important didn't impress me one bit

Very dissapointed went for a birthday treat booked in advance. On arrival no table set for 9 guests .this was then done waited a long time at the bar for drinks .then waited a long time to place food order. Only three staff on for a Saturday. So a lot of people getting a bit fed up.food arrived after 50 minutes and all meals were cold one was still frozen in the middle. All food was returned. The three staff members did their best but the place was very under staffed .a terrible experience spoiled our family meal. I will never go again. The chef could do with some help or re training as food should never be sent out like that.

Turned up place was completely locked up. No notices complete waste of a journey.

Went for our evening meal rather than eat at the hotel, excellent steak meal with quality ingredients cooked to perfection and very reasonably priced Well worth the trip out

My wife and I met up with friends at the Beehive in Curdworth. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and the price was very reasonable! The mixed grill was fantastic value for money. It has plenty of parking and seating , it seemed a bit quiet for a Saturday night, I hope this was not normal, as it is a nice place to go, relax eat good food, with friendly efficient staff. A big thank you to the Beehive team for looking after us.

Staff were friendly and engaging, food was nice and a good atmosphere...what more could you ask for. Oh yes and with the sunshine the beer garden was fab Tried the shared platter and thoroughly enjoyed it

Did not stay could not get served in a empty room very poor it must be a locals place would not recommend it

Could not wait to have my pint and move on. Cannot comment on food, because I did not eat. But went in and ordered a pint of ale and it was plonked on the bar like you would expect in a bar where the bar staff don't care. No offer of top up of the beer spilt when it was placed on the counter. Happy the beer was well priced. Beer prices good, a lack of consideration to the customer on this occasion.

Great little village Pub that produce good quality food at great pricing making it affordable to pop in and have good food at good price. Also dog friendly which is a bonus as we always have our dog to join us and allows relaxed atmosphere and more time to relax and have a drink with everyone. A little gem.

Came here with my husband and 3 children, ended up walking out after an hour waiting for food! Understand it was bank holiday but Only ordered baguettes and people coming in after us and being served their food 1st!

Visited The Beehive on Saturday, 18th May 2024, for a family celebration of my mother's 78th birthday. Planned 6pm, on arrival, there were plenty of people sitting outside enjoying drinks, chatting in the beautiful sunshine. We received a warm welcome from all staff we meet on the evening, the food, drinks & service were excellent. Our meals consisted of 2 steak & ale pies, 2 mixed grills, lasagne & traditional fish & chips no issues encountered & all thoroughly enjoyable. Pure and Simple, would I visit again? 100% Yes.

Went for an early evening meal for a 78th birthday, lovely sunny day, plenty of people outside. Inside quieter than expected but thankful, excellent service, excellent food.

Went to the Beehive for a meal and a drink last week. The service was speedy and the food excellent and we received a really welcoming reception from Ang and her staff. Prices were competitive also. Well worth a visit.

Great rural pub serving decent food and cold drinks. We shall return.

My wife and i use the beehive quite a lot and today was no different…excellent food which came sizzling to the table and fantastic range of beers and spirits…staff are really friendly and make you feel at home and the young waitress who looked after us was superb….looking forward to visiting again soon..

This is a lovely pub, serving good food at affordable prices & the staff & owner are very friendly.

We visited the Beehive for a family get together, 19 of us in total. The food and service were great and staff really friendly and helpful. We had a lovely evening and will definitely visit again, hopefully to try the Sunday Carvery.

The food and staff were absolutely first class,would i recommend the Beehive to my family and friends also to anyone, the answer is most definitely yes.

The manager was awfully rude when myself and husband arrived we had been shopping and looked for a local homemade pub nearby...her attitude was awful..she said can I help you in a rude manner! She didn't even provide a menu! She did not smile once and then after leaving came running out and accused of not paying when we said its on the table!! No apology! Just walked off! We left the staff a tip also! From the minute we walked in we knew she didn't want us in there as not regulars! Food was nice although had to get cutlery from another table and no side plates for sharing starting!

Good food.quite large portions. welcoming staff and a great atmosphere. Very reasonably priced.would highly recommend.spend was for starters main and 2 rounds of drinks!

Amazing home cooked food really delicious and would recommend for any kind of occasion! My partner loves a mixed grill and he said it was best one he had ever had! We always have a lovely time when we visit, staff (managers) are always really friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is always really relaxed and calm 👏🏻 Definitely would recommend 👌🏻

I took my wife and children to this pub. The food was fine. In all honesty. The owner was so rude I would never dream of going back having spoken to others. This seems to be the norm

So support the locals......got there tonight one table of 6 in this was 5.40pm. We were given a table drinks orders taken and then our order..Great....starters came out..lovely..just half way through starter the able of 6 were asked if they wanted to order as they had a couple of big tables due in..fab. Starters finished...waited....waited...waited. the table of 6 get all there meals, we are still waiting(only 2 of us) ask 5he waitress we have been waiting ages and that table have got there meals??? Answer you had a starter???no sorry for your wait...couldn't look us in the eye. Meal eventually came out 2 mixed grills. Lamb chops blood running out loads of fat....vile steak, not best quality. No one at any point came and asked if our meals were OK? Go and pay and I believe the owners took our payment, again, never asked if our meal was OK???? Where is the customer service??? I work with customers everyday....I would never treat the customers like this!!!! Such a shame, a local independent pb have lost our support and remember 1 bad customer tells at least 10 other people....power of word. Also 2 other meals sent back from another customer whilst we were there

Absolutely appalled with the service we recieved from here today , not only was the food not edible when we tried to complain about it didn’t get acknowledged and was sent out people who didn’t know how to sort the situation out, to then hear that we was getting slagged off by the staff it was very unprofessional of the staff then to be told to shut up by the apparent manager was appalling never ever experience anything like it. The only person that sorted the situation out was the husband of the manager maybe manager too he was very respectful and understanding I applause him for being professional in the situation. Thats the only reason it’s 2 stars for service

We came here a few days ago to celebrate my husbands 50th with a meal. It was absolutely gorgeous- the chicken goujons are enormous ! The place was warm, inviting, friendly and the staff couldn’t do enough. They handled our large order (11) with absolute ease. They even sang happy birthday to my husband 🥰❤️ Thank you for making his birthday lovely! Will definately be back 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳Xxx

Enjoyed a traditional Sunday lunch today with delicious cheese cake. Everything tasted homemade using fresh ingredients. Good old fashioned welcome and pub atmosphere. Friendly staff who were all warm and accommodating.

First visit to the Beehive after 15yrs, and it's a nice change, it's an ongoing refurb, it's clean and the food is excellent, specials board and full menu with kids menu, nice choice of beers and wines. The couple running it are friendly and hospitable , well worth a visit, will definitely be going back..

I had the fish and chips and I can honestly say in my 60 years I’ve never had cod as good as this.

Food came out cold.. appearance wasn't the best . Never got asked off a member of staff how my food was..but good value for money. Had been here on a few occasions..but for the last visit I was disappointed.

Nice little independent pub. The staff were very friendly and the food was great, and the prices were very reasonable. Six of us went in total; I had the triple chicken, which was cooked all the way through but still juicy. Meals were home made, rather than the microwaved stuff you find at many pubs nowadays. Definitely worth a visit.

We have drove past this pub many times and we decided to go for Sunday lunch. Wow what a beautiful place i love a good old fashioned pub with real traditional pub grub. Staff were welcoming from when we stepped through the door and service was brilliant and could not fault the food we will definitely be returning.

My elderly mom & dad are regulars here. Angie is so lovely and looks after them. The food is always great …a fab menu and very reasonable prices. It’s a cozy environment and home from home cooking and atmosphere. What’s not to like?

This is our 3rd visit to the beehive, the staff are brilliant, friendly and helpful. The owners/manager's are especially friendly and welcoming. Always felt welcome here so we will always come back here when we are in the area, lots of parking.

Absolutely awful service, waited 1 hour 20 mins for seabass and combo and were still third in line. And they still had the cheek to charge for the drinks. Never again

Went to the beehive for sunnday dinner the service was not very good went up the bar only one person serving the waiters was give him orders the drinks so at to waiting to get served very badly run not enough staff be hind the Barwell not be going there again all so not heating very cold by the time I got back to my table my dinner was cold not one of the waitresses ask us if we want a drink or ask if ever think was ok I think you should training you staff in customer service

This place has been rejuvenated the food is lovely plenty of choice, at the right price you have to wait a little while , but it is worth it. Plenty of parking space nice welcome decor is nice plenty of room selection of tables.
