Great food & service, friendly staff.

Had a loverly family sunday lunch thick cut beef slices would have liked veg not to have been in one dish but all very good excellent service highly recommend kind regards dave ward 😁😁👍

Stopped in for Sunday lunch today and had a great time. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, decent portions with heaps of veg and very well priced. Would definitely come back

Stopped for a quick drink while on route to our son's new home, very nice public house, very pleasant staff will definitely return for a meal. A return visit, this time for food, excellent food and service for our family of 5,children's menu lovely and generous also main meals really worth tasting we visited on curry night with an extensive menu but I decided on cod and chips which exceeded my expectations. Pudding was fabulous too, well worth a visit.

The table was too small had to put plates on the floor. We ordered starters and mains and because the table was too small we had to put the starters onto the main plate and the plates on the floor, we hoped that the starters and main was staggered so have one at a time. Food was lovely but by the time we ate our starters the mains were going cold. We also ordered drinks at our table at first and then half way through our meal had to go up to the bar and ask but they brought the wrong drink and then someone had to come up to ask for our drink order. We was in and out within the hour.

Dogs are allowed in the pub but some improvements needed for it to be more dog friendly (treats, dog bowls etc). Garden was a little dated, benches looked tired and there was bottle caps in the grass. Good lunch menu options. Little scampi portion was 5 pieces. Overall it was an average lunch, near nice walks (Kingsbury water park)

***** GLUTEN FOOD ISSUE***** Big health and safety issue here for those who have intolerance. Surely they have knowledge of this these days and have to cover this for their food safety/hygeine. The meals marked gf on the menu are not gf. The meals come with chips which are not gf here and could have made someone really sick. Understand if an apology was made but there was a complete.lack of care about it. Very disappointed. You have to get this kind of stuff right these days!

Our 3rd time to the malt house and so so disappointed, I was looking forward to trying a nice Indian curry as I had the katsu before and Sunday dinner before that, Sunday dinner was ok, katsu was vegi but wasn't great for the price, so thought we would try curry's but I didn't get that far because I'm vegetarian and I couldn't have a no chicken tikka massala becuase they wouldn't give me any of the no chicken like with the katsu, so gutted as we was ready for a large order like massala chips rice's panyang curry poppadoms naans, looked at others and they looked great so really wanted to try but the chef wouldn't do a chicken free meal only sauce which to me is just boring, spice up your vegi and vegan menu and maybe we 'might' come back

Fast service, delicious food, friendly staff always checking in, 100% return.

Went with work colleagues and ordered lots of different dishes. Everything was cooked perfectly and the portions are great for your money. Would recommend to visit and try everything on the menu! You will not be disappointed :) service was professional and quick.

First time going. Was really impressed. Got very busy. Obviously popular with other regulars. Tried two course menu. No complaints there. Would definitely recommend and go again.

We had two very tasty meals. Lamb shank and the steak pie. Fresh vegetables. Pastry was exquisite on the steak pie. Plenty of meat on the lamb shank. They do special prices during the afternoon. Well worth a visit. We shall be back.

The Indian food part of this place is amazing,the service second to none. Quite extensive menu. A bit different from a normal Indian restaurant. A bit more expensive than normal but then again, I don't mind paying for quality. The only downside is the Indian doesn't start until 4pm. The everyday menu is good value for money as well and quite extensive, children s menu is available. Highly recommended.

Our server Babu was amazing and very attentive and friendly. It made our whole experience even better. Who ever made the lemon cake was the best I've tasted

Lots of choice on the menu. I had an issue with my fish but it was swiftly replaced. Staff are making sure you are happy with everything and upbeat and polite.

Me and my friend decided to visit here to have a catch up over a late lunch. My friend brought her young daughter along too and we had a great experience here. It wasn't too busy as we had arrived just after the lunch rush. We were seated at a table straight away and the waiter got us a high chair. We ordered our drinks and were given 5-10 minutes before someone came back to take our order for food. We decided on the lite bite menu, which was £13.95 for 3 courses. I had garlic mushrooms to start, a chicken burger with chips for my main and then a lemon and blueberry cheesecake for dessert. The food was lovely and great value for money! We enjoyed it very much and would definitely return. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. We really enjoyed our experience here and would definitely recommend!

This place has become our regular go-to place for food now. Tonight I had the Chicken Tikka pizza which was really nice. Staff are very attentive and friendly and prices are very fair considering quality and quantity. I will of course visit again :)

Had Sunday roast for £12 and have a frozen flat Yorkshire. veg was hard. Not happy did tell the guy and the looks we kept getting from the lady not going there again rip off

Booked for B/H Monday for 11 but wife not well so 10 of us ,1st time back since change of management. Friendly staff, warm welcome. Something gir everyone and great service, great food .Straight forward great food at a fair price, good size portions on all mains. No fancy garnish, what you see is what you get . Everyone was very happy, from double burger ,beef sizzler, bbq chicken ( which my mother in law took half home ,giant York pudding was great as was my belly pork . All in all a fantastic choice fir 1 great granny, grandad daughter, son and 4 grandkids. Thxs to all staff for a wonderful lunch .we'll be backbto try the curry evening

Absolutely loved our meal here for Mothers Day with my son, his partner and her family. Baring in mind it was very busy, the service was first class, food amazing and great value for money. The atmosphere was lovely. All staff deserve a pat on the back :) We will definitely be back soon. Thank you.

Food was good quality and the quantity was acceptable, the staff were friendly and helpful and it was not too loud so conversation was easy.

After our 4th visit we was pleasantly surprised yet again to be served by BABU , always a lovely greeting ., his jokes and his welcoming smile all contributed to the excellent food we ate ,,, My partner and I had the rump steaks which was lovely , juicy tasty ..we will definitely 👍 give a 5 star ⭐️ rating the 3.5 rating figure ?????????? must obviously 🙄 be a mistake ,, see u soon 🔜 babu even with his old fashioned knock ✊ jokes ,, but we smiled all the same !!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Average food for quality prices

Chose lasagne. Comes with salad, salad is just iceberg lettuce nothing else and small portion, also garlic bread Lasagne strange and made without a proper ragu no tomatoes seemed to have been used very dry, apart from the bechamel sauce and cheese, wasn't keen would not recommend, needs an Italian recipe!!!

Came for the first time under this ownership. Massive Indian menu and another massive normal menu. The food was amazing. I had the jack Daniel’s honey steak sizzler with half rice half chips. Will definitely be back again soon

Service was good. Very attentive. However the ambiance was flat not very welcoming. Food was average. I had sweet chillies chicken sizzler which was nice but served with bland frozen chips. Wine choice was very poor. So I would rate it average overall

Very tasty meal! Garlic Coriander Naan was crisp yet fluffy - not doughy which i love! Masala Chips were super tasty also, very strong garlic chilli flavour with a nice tang from the chaat masala and the Paneer Makhani was super sweet and buttery. I’d truly recommend this place. There’s 2 menus so it suits the palettes of everyone.

Just been to the Mother’s Day afternoon buffet meal, we couldn’t fault the food, service or the staff. The staff were so attentive it was refreshing to experience so quick and so polite. (I haven’t been paid to say this). We brought my birthday cake to share but had to take it away again as we were so full. Will definitely come back, highly recommend this venue.

I'm somewhat shocked to see this place with only 3.5 stars at time of writing. It was way above that for us. We had a lovely meal and, with 4 young kids, know we are not the easiest group to work with. the staff were brilliant, a young team with plenty of enthusiasm and very helpful throughout. You cannot ask for more and the establishment was busy when we arrived. The food also delicious. The fish and chips I had was not the most appealing on the eye when it came out, compared to my wife's lamb shank. However, it was delicious and a thoroughly tasty meal. Also the Bailey's cheesecake for dessert was a treat. We didn't know about the place before this visit and will almost certainly be back. thank you

This place is amazing and I would totally recommend to anyone. We visited with a party of 12 and the food was nothing short of amazing - we had a vast choice of food from the menu. The service was firstly class even though they were busy. We have stayed in the area for a few years now and have really struggled to find a place we can all go out for a successful meal … we have cracked it with this place and I’m sure we will be back. A big thank you again to all the staff who were incredible.

Lovely pub and restaurant. Very busy which I guess is a good sign! Mixture of traditional pub and full Indian food menu, at very reasonable prices. Toilets clean and tidy. Good parking facilities.

I’d give this place 10 Stars if I could!!! I took my family last night for a meal and OMG! The service, the staff and the atmosphere were all very lovely, but the food!! I had the large Indian mixed grill platter, I haven’t tasted such awesome tasty food in a long time, everything was so tasty!! my wife had the katsu curry and our kids had the pepperoni pizza and cheesy chips, everything was faultless, i cannot recommend this place highly enough, when I read the low reviews I thought maybe I’d gone to a different place but no, it was the same venue, our new favourite place to eat.

The food is all precooked and then reheated. The chicken breasts that came out were inedible and were sent back. The staff did replace them with what they said was a fresh meal but it was the same again dry hard meat that had been reheated.

Possibly the worst Christmas Dinner I've ever had, if I'd paid a tenner for it I'd of been moaning but £70 it was shocking, I know plenty of people felt the same too.. no organisation in there, waited over an hour for our seats then what was the most bland rubbish I'd had in a long time, give it a miss!

Unfortunately this was one of the worst meals we’ve ever had. For the money you were charging we were expecting something fairly special, at least something served and not a buffet of Fish cakes from the cash and carry and chicken nuggets, the prawn cocktail was non existent and half of it was over the table, out of 10 people we managed to get 3 starters. Then the mains came out, well for £80 a person we was expecting something a little more than what you’d get for a £10 carvery, in fact I’ve had better carvery’s. If we were lucky to get a parsnip on your plate it was literally the size of a child’s little finger, some plates didn’t even get any, packet mash was average at best and the bowls of veg were……. Well again, average at best. Then finally the dessert, again wasn’t expecting for the money to have to serve myself to a buffet, a well presented dessert would have been better, but still, who doesn’t love a Costco cash and carry Yule log or cheesecake, just unfortunate the cheesecake was fully frozen in the middle when my sister in law tried to eat hers and when we bought it up with the staff member we got told pretty much, eat it or don’t 🤷🏻‍♂️ If you are planning on being in hospitality at least do it right, clearly took on far to many customers than you could handle and everything felt rushed and just a bit slap dash, and we spoke to other parties there and all said the same, definitely a waste of over £700

Well I've come up from London to see a friend 200 mile trip, we went to the Malt House and was well worth the journey! The food was second to none, we both had curry, very spicy 😋 good portions, service was excellent from start to finish, Babu served us and was charming, great place for service and food, atmosphere great, clean and tidy, toilets spotless, I'll be back 😋 xx

Bloody Fantastic! Turned up on the off chance.. not been since it was occupied by the "funky bears" group. Menu was good. A wide selection of dishes.. including a really good value lunch bites menu.. & Indian Cuisine that they serve in the evening alongside their main menu. The food was really tasty and the portion sizes were generous. Highly recommend and will be making this our new local. 👌 Thank you for a lovely visit.

Lovely family Sunday lunch. Served quickly by friendly staff. Nice roasts, delicious desserts and a lively atmosphere.

Large party so food was prebooked. Mains were ok, indian was brilliant. Very cold if sat in conservatory, wear layers/jumpers!

We went for a family meal and cannot fault the restaurant at all. We were shown to our table and drinks ordered straight away. Food was delicious and staff were very friendly. Definitely be back again!
