The Beef Bar in Doncaster

I asked for a smash burger and got a normal burger? Not sure if something got lost on translation but this isn't a smash burger. The beef itself has barely any seasoning. Based on this will not return.

This place deserves a great review. Had a family meal on Father’s Day as Dad loves burgers and wanted to try a smash burger for a while. 5 people including 2 vegetarians there was something for everyone. Every meal was spot on and so reasonably priced. Have recommended to all! Thankyou

Dropped on this place by chance and am i so glad that i did. Great staff, atmosphere and comfortable settings are all good but the main question is the food: well, is it of this world. Truly the greatest (and largest) burger i ever had. Tip: go for the one drenched in molten cheese. Fantastic.

12oz Excelsior was brilliant - overflowing with quality cheeses. House burger - 6oz, perfectly cooked. Skin on fries and a stack of onion rings. Hobgoblin pale ale, Mudhouse NZ sauvignon. Total cost £30! Great value and top quality. Late afternoon dining, so quiet in the restaurant, but buzzing atmosphere outside as its next door to The White Lady micropub.

First of all they have removed our initial review. I wouldn't expect to eat frozen food from a place that has 5 stars but that's exactly what you get here, frozen onion rings, frozen halloumi fries, frozen chips, frozen cheese sticks. We know this because they took them out of the freezer right next to the table area and put them in the fryer. Could get a better meal at home, would not recommend. The only good thing was a polite waiter. Edit after their response : had the frozen food been cooked well this review may have been slightly different but the halloumi came out burnt and completely solid. I think you'll find if you visit GOOD establishments who take pride in their work, the food is not frozen. My partner's initial review has 100% been removed as it was there for over a week and now is not. 👍

I had BBQ bacon fries & the rodeo burger. It was absolutely gorgeous. Best burger I have tasted In a very long time. I will be recommending it to everyone I know and I will definitely be back. Thank you very much.

So pleased we chose to eat here. The food was fabulous, staff welcoming and friendly. Also allowed our dog in , which was great. Prices are good too. Happy to be supporting our village businesses .

We’re were able to book a table for 7 at short notice which was great for a Friday night. The food was freshly cooked in the open kitchen and served quickly. It was nice to be able to fully customise each burger meaning everyone got exactly what they wanted. The food was amazing, a proper burger full of flavour. It’s only a small space, but had a lovely atmosphere and the staff were super friendly and helpful! We were pleased to find out that it’s dog friendly too and do take out, so all bases are covered. 100% would recommend if you’re looking for a good burger at a reasonable price.

Wonderful burger and fries. Came all the way from Lincolnshire as family had told us how good the food was. Was not disappointed great tasty food and good service would definitely recommend

Saw a comment on Facebook advertising this bar’s 1st anniversary in business so decided to give it a go. Really pleased I did, best burger I’ve tasted in a long time, will definitely be back. Lovely people too, well done guys👍

Absolutely amazing food the burgers are gorgeous 😋 and the chips with garlic mayo and crispy onions is beaut, lovely staff with brilliant service . Will definitely be back. Its also child and dog friendly which is a bonus 😊

One of the best burger places I have ever been to, the staff are amazing and so so friendly , the atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming. The burgers and fries were so good arguably better than five guys, and the prices are so so cheap £7 for a burger that will fill you up for the whole day with quality ingredients. 10/10 place and i will definitely be returning:)

In the heart of the village, The Beef Bar is a real hidden gem. It serves a range of 100% Aberdeen Angus beefburgers as well as offering a chicken burger plus vegetarian & vegan options too. They've also recently introduced a kids option of chicken nuggets, chips & a fruitshoot for a fiver! The Beef Bar itself is a cosy little place, with friendly staff ready to greet you. The food is cooked fresh to order in the open grill and is spot on every time. There's a wide selection of drinks too, including draught beers, bottled beers, spirits, wine & soft drinks. Whether you live locally or are just passing through, The Beef Bar is definitely worth a visit.

Fabulous food tonight at The Beef Bar. Tasting evening where we got to sample various burgers, great combination of flavours, £15 per tkt included any drink of your choice. All burgers made fresh using top quality ingredients, the Angus Aberdeen steal and Beef brisket burger was amazing. Great place to spend an evening. Amazing burger taster night all of them ( and I’m stuffed) truly the best burgers I have had - all different with chilli and various mixes but the beef was the best

Visited this new mini restaurant situated in Excelsior court, Conisbrough it has tasty food, good service, fab lager. Will be going again!

I visited here for the first time and wow. It’s time I stopped going five guys. The burgers here are amazing. Full of flavour at half the price. Really enjoyed it. We had seen some reviews and socials about this place and it was certainly worth the visit, hope you open a branch in Armthopre soon!!!!

Very welcoming, can see your food been cooked! Beautiful larger and I can say the best burger I've eaten ever! Also have burger fires which were delicious! Would definitely recommend a visit to anyone! Went as a family with 2 children. They were also well catered for with drinks. 10/10!!

Went here on Saturday and shared a Detroit burger and the cheese burger fires. It did not disappoint! The food was amazing and il deffinetly be going back again! Would highly recommend!
