The Bedford Tavern in City of London, Westminster

The selection of beers on tap is one I’ve not seen in pubs in London, from the blue moon to the Leffe. The ambient is really great with red brick walls, timber, chesterfield sofas, a poker table even! Many sitting areas and massive, massive warehouse windows. Such a cool environment. The guy serving was v friendly too - highly recommended

Nette Kneipe, super höflicher Barmann , haben spontan beschlossen einfach noch ein paar mehr drinks hier zu nehmen ! Kann ich echt empfehlen.

I popped in with some friends before going to the Emirates for a concert , l did try a few pubs along Holloway Road and the Tollington but all packed and competitive, walked straight into this pub and was greeted and served straight away, then chatted with some locals , great experience really nice place

I came to The Bedford Tavern for a few drinks on a Wednesday evening in August. Overall the staff were friendly and drinks were reasonably priced;there are also screens that show sport. This pub is worth considering if you are in the area.

Were easily accommodated in this big pub on a Thursday afternoon. We all had drinks we enjoyed, and it was moderately priced. Would come again. The foldable chairs are great for a big crowd outside, and fries were tasty.

My friends and I just had to leave this pub because a guy started hitting aggressively on one of us and when another one gently stepped in, the first guy called him homophobic slurs. Instead of responding as he should have, i.e. kicking the homophobic guy out (who was breaking the law), those running the bar did nothing and in fact asked us to leave because we were all upset. It was an extremely upsetting experience to begin with made even worse by a bar staff clearly unable to deal with this kind of harassment. I can’t recommend this place less. I should also note that it was suffused with a smell of faeces coming from the downstairs toilet, all of this suggesting a dangerous lack of care on both hygienic and social terms.

Brilliant pub on Seven Sisters Road, serving a range of soft drinks, wines and spirits, oh and beers - loads of choice and some great options available. Food also good, we only had a quick snack as we were on the way to The Emirates, just around the corner, but it came quickly and everything is made right in front of you, with an open kitchen next to the bar. Staff are great, very friendly and welcoming, and the venue itself is well styled with the option of chairs and tables to sit at, or large couches to just chill out on. Was so good we went back after the game, and will return again when we are in the area.

I couldn't help but write a review about the Bedford Tavern and the incredible chef that runs the kitchen. His beef burgers , made from a secret personal receipt, are hands down the best burgers I have ever had in London, maybe the best I've had my entire life. The Pub also offers a wide range of beers and occasionally live music. Just an amazing place all around

Disappointed that the reviews are very positive here but this is not a great pub really. Food is ordinary and small portions for the price, beer range is ok but not exceptional. Much better boozers in London than this.

Truth- I stopped the car to pop in to use the toilet. I gave in and had a 'glass of my medicine' - a glass of red wine. It was really lovely even though I had a couple of ice cubes in it! The service & atmosphere was GREAT . With the Natural very old bare brick walls, old fashioned windows, wood floors, interesting array of paintings on the walls and an amazing range of draft beers including - a draft cider made and stored in wood barrels previously used for Whisky - the result is a cider with a slightly woody/whisky flavour - it had the nose of a good champagne and an incredible mellow & smooth taste. There is a small kitchen and menu - limited but very tasty. Problem for me - is that it is on my drive home from the City- going to find it difficult not to stop off on a regular basis 😊 But PLEASE - don't let that stop you from calling in and partaking in the delights of the Bedford Tavern.

I go about once a month for the live music. Even when busy, I can always find a nice place to sit with friends. There's a couple of plug sockets about whenever I bring my laptop or need to charge my phone. Free Wifi! Food is a little pricey but yummy and drinks are well priced, service is fast and friendly. Would recommend to anyone who wants a drink in the area with a really great atmosphere.

Great place to eat- burgers, small plates etc. All really tasty. Good service. Good selection of beers and wine. There was live music on and it was just great! Fantastic atmosphere and a great night. My only criticism- sort the toilets out! They smell really bad before you even get down the basement stairs to them

I've visited the Bedford on a number of occasions as they are a part of the local Darts league that I play for however this particular visit was my first on a busy Friday evening. The beer selection is good (with myself usually opting for a Guinness) and at a standard price for the center of Croydon (give or take 10p or so) and taste wise, it's a nice tasting beer with the pipes clearly cleaned fairly regularly. Very friendly bar-staff and a nice big heated outdoor area to counter the rather small interior. Lovely pub and great for a cheeky pint after work.

We are regular customers in here. It's a great atmosphere, very friendly and engaging staff and great beer! We tried Sunday roast here but unfortunately we had to send it back and eat somewhere else. We still like to come here for live music and a pint as they have good range of craft beers most importantly pale ales!

This is such an amazing place with friendly lovely people, a great place to chillax, to relax, listen to live funky/jazz music, eat amazing food and drink such an amazing variety of wine, beer, lager you name it... and they have it...

Just had one of my best pub meals in all of England. Come to this place!!!!!! I had the halloumi burger with rocket salad and sweet potato chips. So unbelievably delicious!! Great service too!!!!! Thanks guys👌🏼

Visiting a friend, tried their cheeseburger and it was really good! Other items on the menu were delicious as well. Some 15 different tap beers as well as bottles, wines, spirits... And the best of all - friendly staff!

Went in to meet some friends before the last game of the season. From outside it looks a bit rough but the inside is all dark wood and exposed brick work. Price of a decent pint of Guinness is reasonable and the service is fast and friendly. Didn't eat but friends who did praised the burger and a pint deal for £10. Good range of other beers and lagers on offer

I usually visit pubs with friends that live in London, and this was one of the finest. It has a nice and cozy atmosphere, excellent service and different beers to try.
