A lovely atmosphere. The owner must be a decent person. Apart from perhaps selling the false grass that we walk on the Bean Machine and play area can not make a fortune Thank you Mr Geoffrey.

Love this place! super quirky and unique to other venues locally and a bonus is that the kids are entertained, which allows us to actually have a catch up! X

came here last week with friends and our kids. We ended up staying for 4 hours and had multiple drinks as it was just soo lovely! It was busy but the staff managed it very well and it did not take long to get any of our drinks/food. The bus is gorgeous, such a lovely feature and the kids loved being able to sit in the drivers seat. Such a lovely place to go to and we loved it soo much we are coming back today!

I loved their drinks and the staff seemed super friendly. I got a hot chocolate from here and it was the best I’d ever had. 10/10 -I would definitely go again and I would recommend the hot chocolate or even some of the special items. I love it here, the staff are always so friendly and the drinks are delicious 😋. The food takes a little longer to come out but it is nothing of concern (2-5 minutes). Great place for catching up with some friends!

This place is great for kids / families! They have a bouncy castle for the kids and also sheltered areas outside. The food and drinks were amazing, i had a bus off hot chocolate and my kids had milkshakes. We also had their bagels and they were delicious, the staff were also lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitly be back!

Embarrassed for them. Paid £5.50 for stale bagel from supermarket and 1 slice of the thinnest prepackaged salt beef tiny pickle and a smear of mustard. it was tasteless and pathetic. Inedible and total waste of money. Add insult to injury took 25 minutes for this pathetic specimen to arrive. Spoke to one of the members of staff she agreed that they needed improvements but didn’t know what to do. A suggestion a fresh bagel generous portion of homemade salt beef, decent pickle and mustard. Not difficult.

I was looking to join the Rayleigh club as a member after relocating from Wales and had hoped to play on the South course. I explained that I was previously a member at the Vale Resort and had a certified handicap (WHS). When booking a tee off time, I was advised this was okay when I contacted over the phone. The South Course was closed today and I asked whether I could book the East course instead. When I went in to do so, the gentleman in the pro shop advised that I wouldn't have been able to play the South Course as 'they don't recognise the WHS handicap system.' He further said that 'there's no way he can know whether it is valid or whether I am pretending to be someone else.' Instead of insinuating that I am fraudulently trying to play on the South course, he could have contacted the Vale Resort directly who could have verified my previous membership and handicap, irrespective whether they recognise the WHS system. I had hoped to play the South Course and potentially become a member. My late Grandfather had his wake at the Rayleigh club in 2015 and it was a special day of commemoration and I was very grateful to the staff that day for being so attentive and welcoming. This is in stark contrast to my experience in the pro shop today. In my experience, questioning the validity of someone's registered handicap is not the best way to encourage new members so I'll look to join elsewhere.

£45 and every thing was cold and it was delivered by car. Not great when you have ordered Steak and jacket potato

The oldest (apparently) coffee shop in Rayleigh lived up to the claim, and we do recommend a visit in all earnest. A cosy room with comfortable seating and friendly people serving enjoyable food. The menu is quite extensive and can be a trifle confounding to come up with your preference, but yes, there's every option. The coffee (much acclaimed) didn't disappoint. Having seen the menu, we will be back to try out the afternoon tea.

We visited on a Tuesday evening, warmly greeted at the door and taken to our table promptly. Our waitress Sarah was very professional and attentive, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and cosy.

This morning we went to Breakfast with Santa at The Cherry Tree in Stambridge. It was amazing! Breakfast was gorgeous and the entertainment was so good! All our family enjoyed it! The staff worked incredibly hard, they were so welcoming and it made the whole experience so fun! My boy wants to go again next year, and after this year, I am massively in agreement! Thank you The Cherry Tree! We will be back.
