Julie Clare was an amazing waitress and a credit to Miller & Carter! Jon’s meat was very tasty!

The speed of service was exceptional. Julie was friendly, informative, and generally a shining example of excellent customer service. The food was excellent. Thank you for such a great first visit!

My family and I have visited Miller and Carter Silver Jubilee countless times over the years We keep returning, as it must be one of your strongest restaurants in your entire chain! The food is ALWAYS absolutely perfectly cooked, and your chefs in the kitchen there deserve enormous praise and credit, that I would be extremely grateful if you could be kind enough to pass on to them for me please. In addition, the service staff are ALWAYS absolutely amazing too!! On this visit, we were lucky enough to be served by Sarah, who was nothing short of superb! She managed to perfect the tricky balance of being incredibly attentive and immediately on hand - without once making us feel rushed. She was massively friendly and professional, and demonstrated an excellent knowledge of her job, by recommending several dishes across the meal - ALL of which were exactly as she described - and utterly delicious! Again, I would be very grateful to you, if my feedback and thanks, could be fed back directly to Sarah please. People are often quick to complain if something goes wrong, but not so much when everything goes perfectly - which Sarah ensured it did. Thanks ever so much Sarah for making our evening extra special by being so amazing at your job - and GENUINELY caring about your customers!

Overall, my dining experience at Miller and Carter was good. I did notice that two of the courses seemed like they were pre-packaged and were served cold, which was a bit disappointing. The staff were quick to rectify the issue, and their attentiveness was commendable. Despite this minor hiccup, the rest of the meal was fantastic. I'm giving it a 4-star rating because of the exceptional service and the quality of most of the dishes, but I felt it was important to point out the areas that could be improved.

We were served by lovely Sarah who was upmost professional and accommodating, also recommended which wine is best, polite and not in a rash which was nice, dinner was fantastic, atmosphere great, mini desserts were massive compared to other restaurants! Definitely will be back again

Unfortunately the seating is squashed for 6 average sized people. Service and meal took absolutely ages to come. Its as if there is not enough staff for the number of tables. Not my first visit here but it will be my last .For the cost of the meal is not worth it.

Excellent all-around. Food was great. Staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommended. One star less on atmosphere just because it was a little noisy but I'm just being picky..

I expected this place to be amazing, seriously disappointed..the staff had no idea about the menu more interested in chatting to each other..the steaks were poor and the food luke warm. When I complained they told me I should expect that as there busy! Won't be returning

So booked this for mother's day and this place is normally top notch but today's experience was terrible. Sat down after a long wait which we had booked and the they had a power cut which I know is not there fault but was told can't have any drinks or food until the the systems have rebooted. We was all very hungry and asked if we could have some rolls while we waited only to be told no because they can't add it to the systems. We are talking bread rolls not prime steak. Food for people that was already seated seem to come out no problem. Can't understand why we was refused any water or drinks or any snacks are miller and carter that tight? In the end we was told we are shutting. Completely ruined my wife's mother's day ! We would have been happy if they would have given us something like a said bread and butter but that was obviously too much. What bad service. I'm diabetic and felt rather unwell from being denied food and water when it's clearly not my fault they have a problem with there systems. I think everyone they turned away and ruined the mother's day should be given a chance to return with some sort of discount.

Drinks,starters and main courses were really slow . Steaks were good but it would be better if the food could be quicker. We must spent about 3 hours in the restaurant for lunch.

Came for a work night out and the service was incredible, so efficient which I can’t imagine being easy with how many of us were there! Came here for my dad’s 70th birthday tonight and was served by Kira. We were a big table which normally earns the look of dread from a server, but Kira was brilliant, she was so patient and kind, there was no dramas serving our food or taking away our empty plates. We had everything we needed without having to ask, she was so attentive. The food was perfect, everyone enjoyed their meals. Thank you to Kira for making my dads birthday special

We love to go here for the food, it never fails to be anything but amazing. However, the service and cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. The last time we went the service had improved, however the majority of the time we find trying to get drinks is very slow and the floor has food bits dropped all over it. (One night a dirty fork was dropped by our table as we were shown to it, every waiter/waitress then walked over it and completely ignored it all night). It's a shame as the food is top notch

Got there and had to wait 10 minutes in reception with no one to greet us. Eventually had to wander round the restaurant and find someone. Food is OK but pricey so expect a high standard. Our mains turned up and we were supposed to have coleslaw with the meal. I enquired where it was and was told they'd run out. I asked for an alternative and they said there wasn't. The staff couldn't cared less if they'd tried. Sounds a bit petty not having coleslaw but when your paying a large chunk of money you expect to be told before you order so you can adjust your order. Had to wait 20 minutes to get a bill and had to ask twice. Things like that are really annoying. Feel like the staff are just going through the motions and aren't that bothered. Won't be returning.

First time here - Quickly served our little girls dinner as she was hungry and the food we had was amazing. Perfect service - will definitely be back.

Went here for a Valentine's Day dinner, the service was 5* and the food was fresh, delicious and very nicely presented (although it barely fit on the rather small table for 2). The drinks (I had non-alcoholic) were amazing, they tasted like they were made with fruit just picked from the garden! Had a lovely time, although I don't think I would choose it again for an occasion like Valentine's Day, it doesn't feel like a very intimate place (at least not where we were seated). On any other day, though, I absolutely recommend it :)

Miller and Carter in Rayleigh exceeded expectations! From the ambience to the perfectly cooked steak, every detail was impeccable. A must-visit for steak lovers!
