The Bay Fish & Chips in Aberdeenshire

Have been many here may times and would always rate it highly but the smoked haddock supper is the best chippy I have ever had. Lovely home made sauces and coleslaw and tasty mushy peas.

Spent the afternoon Puffin spotting at Fowlsheugh. My daughter raves about The Bay, and how it’s the best chippie ever. Was really looking forward to trying it out. Stood in what we thought was the queue, only to discover it was the queue for the ice cream shop next door. Signage not very clear. Went to to the window to order, only to be told as others have said, you can only order online!!! Checked the App to discover we would have to wait an hour. It’s not clear on the App the you HAVE to order online. Really disappointing experience. So ended up going elsewhere.

Have had takeaways here twice this week. The first was good (4 star quality) but the portions were smallish. Quality was very good but not exceptional. The second visit was dreadful. Overcooked scampi and if you tempted by the fish platter you receive a VERY small piece of haddock, a fish cake, one small breaded scrap piece and one small battered scampi. My wife ordered the breaded scampi which had been seriously over cooked - she could not eat any of it. We were drawn in by the hype but will not be returning. I think this is a case of a restaurant trading on its reputation which I think, sadly, will now diminish.

Not impressed with service, stood at the window for ages with the young man the other side who chose to ignore me totally, didn’t know if I had to go inside or wait outside at first, he only needed to acknowledge me so I knew he’d seen me waiting, portion size was meagre, I feel I was let down big time! Picture shows size and how I received my fish portion, and the cost was £5.60p

What sort of place only does online ordering? My pensioner Mum & Dad are currently holidaying near Stonehaven in their motorhome and were desperate to have a chippy tea tonight and having seen The Bay and how busy it seemed they decided to head there after their long day out and about for their evening meal.Dad joined the end of the long queue and gradually got to the serving window only to be told it is internet order only. When he pointed out they don't own smart phones or have internet access he was more or less told tough, it's internet orders only. Restrictions on Takeways were lifted weeks ago and not everyone has the ability to access the internet especially holiday makers with no internet or non smart phone owners.Tourist places have obviously suffered financially during lockdowns so how does denying custom to folks at the door help boost income again? Tourist places often complain that motorhomers don't bring money into the local economy and here you have a place that turns good money away at the door if you haven't pre-ordered online.

We decided to order here after hearing about their awards and when we approached the window there was a sticker saying online ordering only - which is strange as restrictions have allowed normal ordering for weeks now and you are allowed to enter the premises. Are they putting an easier order system for staff ahead of customer service? Because not everyone likes to order online and there should be a choice. We went back to the car and ordered, when it came to choosing a time slot the nearest one was 1 hour 20 minutes away, which we were surprised at but also thought that if this is how long you have to wait then the food must be brilliant! How wrong were we? We asked for salt and vinegar on everything but when we opened our boxes there was the tiniest amount of salt and no vinegar on anything. The portion size was tiny - I’ve seen children’s dishes that are larger. The fish supper was also not presented in the usual brown boxes that appear all over their advertising and social media but standard white cartons. The entire meal was tasteless and the batter on the fish was bland. The onion rings were overcooked and the chips were not very nice either. Overrated. Save your money and go elsewhere.

We were in Stonehaven for a day out walked along to order but was ignored at window, tried to call the phone number,no answer , then had to walk back to car parked round corner to look online and register the chipper online account then book a time and pay online and order then wait 20 mins , I understand with Covid but was not very easy my phone ran out wifi so then had to use the kids phone to order Chips were fine enuf but 3 didn’t of us didn’t like the taste of our haddocks was disappointed after all that effort , The white pudding was fine enuf.

We were travelling north, ordered online from the car from Dundee. Ordered 2 haddock suppers and 2 small haddock suppers. Fish was fresh, a large fillet and cooked to perfection. Chips were absolutely lovely. Collection was at the exact time requested, and food was piping hot and clearly just out the fryer. (Food was still piping hot even after my mad run to try and get a pic of some killer whales in the bay) Portion size was perfect, smaller than our local chip shop but that is reflected in the price. What was not comparable was the quality and freshness of the fish, streets and streets ahead. The kids are asking to stop again on our way home!

Supposed to be a great chipper -IndeedWe are both in our eighties and don’t have mobile internet to be turned away saying internet orders only. Honestly what’s that all about ? We only wanted chips and maybe some pleasant service.Major Ego trip I’d say !!! Anyway good service at nearby Carron

Delicious fish and chips which we enjoyed after a long coastal walk sat on a bench looking at the sea- yum.

We thoroughly enjoyed our food from The Bay - piping hot and very fresh! The app was really easy to use when pre-ordering and collection was very efficient and friendly! Thank you for a lovely meal.

Came back since our last visit was awesome. Omg so dissapointing.... onion rings were cold and over cooked. Mushy peas cool. Meagre portions for regular fish and small fish. ( half of what anywhere else would call a portion). Such a pity as we have been raving about this place but not now. I know covid has a lot to answer for but come on guys. This is an absolute treat.... but this time I'm sorry it wasn't.

Bay, we are from Scotland on a staycation, NOT A TOURIST! My local chippy in Bathgate does better fish and chips, was looking forward to 'the best in scotland' sooooooo disappointed, 7 bits of scampi from farmfoods, tartar from a tin wifes fish and chips pathetic, should be fat and meaty, so not. YOU WILL GO ONCE AND NEVER RETURN. You are well above your station in a very bad way, just because you serve tourists isn't good enough, not proud you are scottish, VERY PISSED OFF, you should be proud of what you are serving, bow your heads in shame. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Due to covid you need to order online – I thought it was a bit cheeky they didn’t give an option to opt out of the bag, and then charged you for it. I had breaded haddock with chips, which was really lovely and cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend if in the Stonehaven area.

I ordered our lunch via click and collect through the website while the kids played on the beach. The window at the chipper opened and the lady handed out a brown bag with our order including wedges of fresh lemon (an option you can request when you place your order).It was delicious and the best fish we have had.

Fish and chips were poor. Not much more to say. Due to Covid, you have to order through their app. This all worked very well. My order was bang on time but I get the impression it was sitting about for a while as I ordered it about 3 hours previously to get the time I wanted. Was looking forward to the meal but the chips were pretty poor as was the fish. Sorry guys.

Not impressed on first visit, so gave it a second visit only to find it not much better. If in stonehaven give this one a body swerve and go to the carron fish bar instead where the staff give more help and service with a smile and the fish and chips were also better

Two visits to The Bay while on holiday in Stonehaven. Excellent freshly cooked fish and chips, tried battered one night and breaded the other night. Both yummy! Ordered online and given collection time. Ready on time. Good service.

Less than average food, not like a traditional fish and chip shop! Chips were awful, fish was over cooked and part of the order was missing. There are better fish and chips shops in Stonehaven. I wouldn’t visit again.

My wife and I had a takeaway on Tuesday and were most disappointed at the fish suppers supplied. My standard fish consisted of a half fillet and my wife's small haddock was the size of her palm. In each case there was an ample serving of chips but this was overall very disappointing especially as previous visits have always resulted in an excellent takeaway.It may be a one off but we will hesitate before going back.No wonder the order is handed over in a closed bag as you only discover what you have when you are well away from the shop.

Click and collect due to Covid but, easy and was there ready for us. Ordered 2 GF haddock and 1 chips (on the assumption the portion would be ok for 2!!) Portion of chips was humongous!!! enough for 3!!! GF fish was on par with our local in Anstruther which we reckon is best ever, it was dry and crispy. Loved it guys!!!!!!

I was a fan of this place till my recent click & collect purchase. The food was not as fresh as you would like but my main gripe is that both our portions of fish were well undersized.. I am pretty sure that locals would not accept this, perhaps we were given tourist portions.

The fish didn't taste that fresh but the chips were better. its online order only and the hour and a half wait were unfortunately well not worth it. It was a bang average chippy.

Fast and quick service new app - ordered on line and ready in 20mins. Lovely crisp batter with juicy fish inside. Chips cooked perfectly - crisp, firm and piping hot. Breaded scampi lovely and fresh.

My partner and I decided to drive to Stonehaven from Banff as we had heard great things about the Bay Chip Shop so we were eager to try it. Ordering our lunch and picking it up was extremely easy and totally fool proof however we felt the food itself was disappointing. The portion sizes were rather on the small side and the chips we felt were possibly from frozen. It is quite expensive for what we received. Perhaps we were just unlucky that day and it was not up to the standard that other people had been met with on previous visits. It is unlikely that we will return as it is a long way to travel for something that we felt was overrated.

Was visiting the area and didn't realise it was order online and collect only. Young guy on the window mubling. I realised from the sign in the window that I had to order online before he made any sense so I went to order on my phone. First collection spot was an hour from now. I went and spoke to the young mumbling guy again and said i just want a small chips is this right an hour from now. He said mumble mumble yeah must be i guess. Walked away, I'd had enough and went to another chipshop called the Redcloak which was excellent and very good chips.Thought id give this place another try as it was closest another night. Ordered online, collected fine. Chips were soggy and mushy. Not really good at all.

Some of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Highly recommend. Very busy shop so do expect a bit of a wait to get served.

We visit Stonehaven several times each year and often have very nice fish suppers from the Bay. Sadly, tonight's, which we were so looking forward to, were anything but award winning. Quite awful in fact- soggy fish batter and chips that looked and tasted like 2 day old re-heats. If that's the best they can due during the pandemic, forget it. Close shop until things get back to normal!!!

A must have, if visiting Stonehaven! With covid you can order via an app and just pick up. Lots of free benches to chill and devour this fish and chips😋 !

I heard that I had to order ahead so placed a large order via the Click and Collect service the night before our family trip to Stonehaven. Unfortunately I forgot to change the collection time and the default situation is collection an hour later. As soon as I saw the order confirmation, I noticed the incorrect collection time. It said on the confirmation to contact the shop if any issues with the order so I immediately called. In fact we tried calling constantly for over 40 minutes but no one picked up. I also wrote 2 emails within the first half an hour. At the collection time, I was emailed back to say that the food was ready for collection and therefore they could not change the order. I was told by the chef that there is a warning on the website about collection times which you have to accept- there was not. I appreciate that I made a mistake, however, the shop can’t simply make themselves uncontactable without warning. Customer service was not up to scratch- not even an offer of discount on a second order. We will be taking our custom elsewhere in future. Gutted as the fish and chips are good and we were regulars.

Outstanding fish & chips, well worth the wait. Arrived without prior booking, so had to download their app, register, make order and then wait 45min. But the fish (haddock) tasted wonderfully fresh and the chips were superb.

Excellent fish & chips as usual - and the Online order and pay system worked a treat . Now that I am signed up I will be able to order ahead - know when it will be ready and arrive to pick up without having to queue for ages to place order & then wait for it to be cooked.Very busy but we were able to walk to harbour and have a first pint since lockdown at the Ship Inn and then had just a minutes wait for order on return at alloted time.

Was really looking forward to eating here after all the rave reviews, portion of fish was tiny and quite bland. The chips tasted like oven chips not proper “chippie” chips. Would not rush back!

When the Bay reopened a few weeks ago, I had to have a long lost taste. The menu was curtailed, with no Jumbo Haddock, and there was no option for a baked fish for my gluten free wife, only a gluten free battered one. The supper was at best average, and did not appear to reflect the quality of the pre lockdown days, with the fish just OK and the chips tasting like McCains. Strangely, while walking at the shore the previous evening, there was a large articulated truck with 'Fish and Chips' emblazoned on it parked outside. Local quality supplies seem to have gone out the window. Anyway, hopefully when the economy opens up again, there will be a return to the past glory.

Most amazing gluten free chipper ever!! We had the haddock and the chicken fillets and they were all absolutely delicious. You can tell the food is super fresh. We’ll definitely be back!!

I've been here multiple times with family I live with every day, with my cousins, other relatives, and they've all loved it. The wait queue is long most of the time, sometimes even so long that it drags on beyond the restaurant. They have 1 table outside of their restaurant, and there's alot of benches beside the sea. You can also eat in your car when it's cold outside. Food is delicious. Never had any bad times with it. Let me also tell you that I've probably been here over 50 times, and its always great. I've personally eaten their cheeseburgers and haddocks, and they're both amazing. Chips also very good. Once you get the food, you can feel the heat of both the fish and chips. When in the queue, in the restaurant there's a wall filled with all of their certificates, and on the opposite wall you can see all the trophies. They also have a TV showing some clips of how they catch the fish, make the fish, or win an award. You also have a choice of getting salt, vinegar and lemon at check out. Everything is amazing in this restaurant, I'd definitely recommend it. They've also remodeled/redesigned the restaurant, but then coronavirus, so I might need to make a new review when we go back again once coronavirus is over.(Also, I wasn't able to go beyond June 2019 so I can't say exactly when I came here.)

Multi-award winning and it's not hard to see why. Don't often have fish and chips but this was a real treat. Incredibly fresh and really tasty - best chips we've had. Friendly and quick service, and the shop is far nicer than any other chip shop in the area. Tends to get very busy, particularly during peak periods - which is not surprising. I can well see why people make the journey into Stonehaven specifically to visit this place. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend.

Came with my son who highly recommended a visit to taste the best fish and chips in and around Aberdeen where I was visiting my relative. Hugely popular so we experienced 15 minutes queuing but most definitely well worth the wait. The haddock and chips were the tastiest I have ever eaten. Fresh, crisp on the outside and moist tasty fish on the inside; fluffy chips on the inside. Information posted in the fish bar as to the catch of the day and the exact farm from which the potatoes used for the chips originate. Great service; friendly, helpful, informative and work as a very cohesive team. Highly recommend a visit to sample such delicious fish fayre.

Could tell it was a great place to eat judging by the queue forming before it even opened. Freshly cooked fish and reasonably priced.

Super fresh, sustainable, good variety. Understandable very popular (choose your time) but nonetheless quite fast. It's a waste not to eat it right there on the sea front.

Very busy, be prepared at peak times. Efficient service and a satisfying product. They carry a huge reputation which now on 3 visits I would say is slightly over rated. Perhaps with such quantity it’s hard for top quality always. That said, I doubt you’d be disappointed and I recommend. Just not 5 stars. Sorry.

So...we have travelled the length and breadth of the UK in search of the best Fish & Chips, and although this isn't the best in the UK (that would go to Krispies in Exmouth), it is certainly the best in Scotland.

Absolutely disappointed, we were travelling Scotland with the Grandkids and made a 70 mile detour just so they could have a portion of fish & chips from “the best award winning fish & chippy in Scotland” only to be told when he had queued at 6.30pm on a Monday that they had ran out of fish !!!!! Absolutely disgusting!! Absolutely bad bad bad management !

We occasionally visit The Bay as it’s the best chippy near us (Portlethen). However, we got a takeaway this week which included 3 kids meals and were overcharged by over £5 for ‘extras’. The server said “what sauce would you like with the kids meals, you can choose any”, we were also given 3 cartons of orange juice, that was not asked for, and also charged for. We were shocked by the price until we looked at the receipt and realised we’d been overcharged for all the ‘extras’ that were ‘included’. When I phoned to complain, I was told I could return the juices and sauces to get a refund. No apologies at all, just a matter of fact “juice and sauce are not included in the kids meals!!!”. So be wary if you are having kids meals as you will be charged for every ‘extra’ even though you are not made aware of this.

I don't normally like deep fried fish but this place in an exception!! Food is fresh and delicious. The staff service is friendly making it a great experience! The bonus is the view as you eat you way through your hot food!

We always have fish & chips here. Freshly cooked while you wait as there is almost always a queue, which is a good thing. Staff are friendly and pay attention to their customers.

I've visited the bay a few times now and the fish and chips are always fantastic! The staff are always very friendly, even when its busy! The fish is always beautifully cooked and the chips are superb! The only downside is, they're so good, the seagulls want to share with you!

Brilliant place to visit was up at castle lady said this place has to be the best chipper in the area so had a trundle down bang on fantastic food been back a few times brilliant will be back later friendly staff

We visited whilst dating for the weekend in Stonehaven. Fish and chips are one of my favourite things and often lead to disappointment. Not this time! The shop is modern, clean and efficient. We ordered as the queue moved forward and our fish suppers were ready as we got to the head of the queue. Nice touch to be offered a wedge of lemon as well as salt and vinegar. Homemade mushy peas were also exceedingly good. In fact, the food was so good we went back on our last night in Stonehaven and it was just as good.

Excellent fish and chips, friendly staff. No sit down space inside tables and chairs outside. Would recommend this place to any one.

Great fish and chips and reasonably well priced. Stopped in on the way up to Peterhead and it was the highlight of the day.

Seen all the certificates but not impressed. Ordered jumbo haddock, £ 9.30 overpriced seen normal fish from my local chippy much bigger than these at nearly half the price . If in Stonehaven again I would give this chippy a body swerve and try a different one .

First visit to the Bay while staying in the area. First impressions very good with a modern, clean and welcoming environment. Many awards received by the business hanging on the walls show what a success the Bay has been. A fairly lengthy queue had formed, but my order was taken immediately and by the time I reached the head of the queue, my order was ready. We had the ‘standard’ size Haddock and Chips (Fish Supper to us Scots) and we were offered a free sample of hake which we accepted. Unusual to be offered a piece of lemon withe the fish which I thought was a nice touch. The digital screens even showed the source of the Fish (a Whitby trawler) and the farm the potatoes came from. I think it also said the 80% or 90% of the ingredients were local. Food was supplied in cardboard boxes and was MSC certified. The food was fresh, hot and perfectly cooked. I would have to say that this was probably the best Fish Supper ever, and I have had a few! Highly recommended and well worth a visit.

A warm welcome on a very cold wet day, we ordered the Jumbo battered haddock, Scampi and chips, a pot of homemade garlic mayo, a pot of homemade tartar sauce, coffee and a coke.The haddock was very fresh, thick and tasty the batter thin and crispy . The Scampi were very fresh, but some were a little small as was the portion. Both sauces were very good. The member of staff who served us was very friendly and helpful. Overall a good experience very close to five stars only let down by the scampi size.

Stopped to have fish and chips in Stonehaven this evening with friends, this chip shop was outstanding. Very fresh cooked to order and lovely and dry, tasty and hot. Yum.

Visited the Bay fish and chip shop in Stonehaven Aberdeenshire today at 1 pm.. it was quiet for a change but it was a cold day and relies a lot on visitors. In the summer it is normally queuing out the door. Had beautiful standard haddock and chips freshly cooked by young friendly staff. This is my family’s favourite chippie with many visits over so many years. It was so good I will make this a weekly journey from Aberdeen. 81 years old but still enjoying really good food and the beautiful scenery around the Bay.

Don't mind the queue, just head on in and order the fantastic fish and chips. The perfectly battered haddock and hand cut chips took me back to my childhood. We ate our delectable meal beside the North Sea on a perfect spring evening. I will dream of The Bay Fish and Chips for the rest of my life.

Es ist nur ein kleiner Shop, dem man durch die lange Schlange aber direkt ansieht, dass hier etwas Gutes zu holen ist... Besonders lecker schmecken neben den traditionellen Fish & Chips auch die Onion Rings. Versuchen sollte man auch unbedingt die selbst hergestellten Soßen dazu.

Un bon accueil et un très bon Fish and Chips (le poisson étiqueté MSC est un plus !). Nous avons eu de la chance, nous n'avons pas eu d'attente alors que nous y avons été un soir du mois de juillet.

Not too big a queue as went a bit later in the afternoon. Fish and chips very good, fair price, fabulous onion rings! Various seats along the front to sit and eat. Speedy and friendly service.

The Bay fish & chip shop is a top spot loved by visitors and locals alike. Situated on the beach front it’s a walk in shop only, but they have the system down to a fine art. Freshly caught produce and great service. There are also near by parks and toilets, ample parking by the sea!

Detoured on my way back from Aberdeen and got the small haddock and chips with mushy peas and tartare sauce, perfect size for a light lunch. It was by far the best fish and chips I’ve had, absolutely gorgeous, fish was fresh and the batter crispy but not too thick (no chunks of batter with no fish in it like you get in some places), and the tartare was heavenly. I was already a bit of a fish and chips snob before the visit and now I know I’m going to crave this and I live half the country away! Highly recommend.

Very long queue, about 45 minutes to get served. Fish was very good with a nice thin crisp batter. Good tasting chips.

Abbiamo pranzato con fish and chips dopo la splendida camminata sulla scogliera e visita al castello di Dunottar. Il locale e' piccolissimo e si mangia fuori, sulla spiaggia o ai vicini giardini pubblici. Servizio veloce, commessi gentili, cibo ottimo. Il miglior fish and chips provato in Scozia! Vi consiglio di chiedere l'aggiunta della maionese all'aglio....

Very pleasant staff. 3 sizes of fish and chips which is good for choice. Cardboard not polystyrene containers, better for the environment. Would have given 4.5* if possible, not quite 5*, chips fairly average and lemon slice very small, no juice. Lucky to get lemon though!

We've been twice now, making a stop on our long journey from Fraserburgh to Wallasey. We'd seen it recommended in The Times and found it every bit as good as they said. The queue was fast moving, so didn't have to wait long.

Visited the shop on recommendations while staying in Aberdeen. Definitely worth the drive. The fish was fresh, the chips were awesome as were the fried shrimp. Didn’t realize that it was not a sit down restaurant until we walked up and saw the line out the door. Once we got in line they were very efficient with taking orders and the food was prepared right in front of us. Grabbed a few soft drinks and took the food to the tables outside to enjoy our dinner.

Das Bay ist für uns inzwischen ein "Must" zum Dunnotar Castle Besuch. Sehr lecker, direkt am Meer und danach ein Eis von der Wahnsinnseisdiele nebenan.

L'attente pour passer commande est un peu longue mais cela en vaut la peine. Les fish and chips étaient délicieux et très digestes. Poisson issu de pêche durable, frites maison, sauces impeccables. On peut choisir la taille de son plat. Je recommande vivement.

This is the 2nd review I have done of this establishment, I must say it has gone down hill considerably. The jumbo haddock was not humbo, it was a greasy mess with bones, the chips were full of eyes and dry. Our onion rings were cremated and had to be returned. My wifes chicken gusions were only slightly larger than chicken nuggets.

Just a takeaway with a couple of tables outside. Many thousands more in the UK. Tartare sauce (home made) was delicious and worth the visit in itself but..well..fish and chips are fish and chips. Not keen on the wasteful packaging. Also would prefer to put my own salt and vinegar on rather than have an extra person at the till doing it for me.

Called in mid afternoon on a day out in Stonehaven. Place was busy, as to be expected! Despite this, the staff were really proficient, keen to keep their reputation up. One had the standard haddock and chips, I had daily special of seafood platter (haddock, monkfish and hake) and mush peas. It was really well done, some the best fish I’ve had from a chippy. The mush peas were great, proper mush peas! Although some reviews claim it’s over hyped, I’d disagree, it’s fish and chips from a chippy done very well with appropriate portions. Would recommend!!

We were recommended to come here, found it easy enough as it has a continual queue. Service was friendly and we ended up with fish and chips which tasted pretty much the same as all other good fish and chips we have eaten. Heavy on the hype about where the potatoes come from and which boat brought in the fish but at the end of the day it is expensive fish and chips at nearly £10 for a fish supper

Tra i più famosi fish and chips della Scozia, merita senz’altro i complimenti ! Il fish and chips e’ buono e soprattutto digeribile anche se un po’ troppo unto rispetto ad altri che ho assaggiato . Bellissima location, fronte mare!

We had just got back from a holiday in Northumberland and collected our car at the station, so being 13:32, we thought oh good fish & chips from The Bay, we weren’t disappointed , lovely fresh fish, tasty chips and our favourite onion rings.

Visited for lunch today - was very busy and very cramped in the shop, however the food is very reasonably priced and the food is delicious. Chips were perfectly cooked, fish was fresh and batter light and crispy. Would definitely recommend!

Delicious fish & chips and sublime battered scampi. Despite the queue the service was fast and the staff always friendly.

The only thing is that there is always a long queue - so you really have to be hungry and want them. Popular with tourists.

Stunningly good fish and chip shop. Staff know what they're doing and it's very slick. Good choices and the food is superb. Free parking across the road so you can park up and enjoy your meal whilst watching the sea. I will be returning

I am a fan of a good chipper, which the bay most certainly is. However, they have recently changed their vinegar from the good ole watery white vinegar to a new brown malt vinegar. This may not be an issue for some, maybe even an improvement, but for simple guys like me who don’t want to taste the vinegar too much this is a serious issue. I’ve been forced to use Stonehaven’s other chippers which is sad because if it wasn’t for the vinegar, the bay is definitely the best.

Decided to join the queue outside the fish shop on a Friday night for two standard fish and chips, plus a tartar sauce. After waiting to collect our fish for half an hour and paying just over £19 for the two haddock meals each one encased in more batter than fish. The fish inside the batter was no bigger than a glasses case. No doubt the quality was good but no better than our local Chinese chippy down south for a fraction of the price!!

Per una breve sosta o anche per una bella mangiata, The bay Fish & Chips è una soluzione azzeccatissima. Qualità del pesce eccezionale, frittura giusta e non pesante. Consigliatissimo.
