Recently moved to Ongar and we found this place "the bar" the first time we gome in, staff and owners was very friendly and we eat salt beet bagels! Wow, what a delicious thing, and we saw they do pizza too. After that moment, we 100% come there at least once a week. Well recomemded

A gem of a place, a hidden treasure. I popped in on my own last weekend, and was pleasantly surprised. It was lunchtime so I opted for the Salmon Bagel, I’ve never had one as tasty as that before, full of wonderful flavours, highly recommend it. I will definitely be back to try a pizza! Lovely relaxing atmosphere and background music, with pleasant staff, well done The Bar!

This is a nice little place for snacks (especially if you like pizza) I don't but i liked the other food on offer, as well as tea and coffee they have a little bar, so a nice place just for a quiet drink. Nice staff and nice background music ☺

Highly recommended! The homemade pizzas are fantastic, all freshly made with quality ingredients. Great ambiance, with a wonderful husband and wife team hosting. Wish we lived more locally as we’d quickly become regulars here!

Lovely new place opened in my high street, very unique, brought a nice European feel to Essex!!!! Onur the owner is very attentive, his main goal is definitely customer satisfaction. Can drink nice beer, nice wine and they have an excellent pizza chef, which I must add, they prepare the dough and ingredients fresh on site. My new local!!

Ting Tong serves amazing Thai food! The sticky rice was perfectly cooked, and the green Thai curry was rich, fragrant, and full of flavor. Great portions, beautiful presentation, and friendly service—can’t wait to come back!

13 Forest DriveHad a fabulous meal to celebrate my dad’s birthday. It wasn’t the first time we’ve visited but we keep coming back because the food and service are so fantastic. We had starters which are incredibly well presented and of good proportion. We all then had mains which were absolutely delish. You can’t go wrong with the mixed shish, herb crusted salmon, octopus, giant prawns or mixed fish grill. All of really high standard. We then had tiramisu for dessert which was also of an excellent. Added bonus is the cocktails are good too! This really is a gem of a restaurant with courteous and efficient staff. We will be back as soon as possible.

Both of us tried the bento box, my sister the vegetable tempura, which came with chicken gyoza, myself the katsu, which came with prawn and vegetable tempura. The boxes came with rice, seaweed salad on spinach, mayo, and katsu sauce on the rice with mine. We shared some edamame beans to start. Tempura was so light and crisp, and all delicious. Service warm and professional, want to go back and try their tasting menu one evening. Lots of different flavours and dishes. À welcome addition to the dining options in Epping. I've been back several times now for lunch and dinner. Always faultless, delicious and good value for money.
