Thursday burger we had were overcooked & child sized with limp garnish salad !Ignored as we entered by staff who walked past us, Dirty Menus as well .Used toilet & that was dirty & if you want to enjoy the excitement of having a shit with no lock on the door the this is a must visit loo . Better food & value at Weatherspoons !

Our party did the brunch experience with free cocktails. What a lovely day had by all the girl who served us was a absolutely brilliant would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of doing this

Went here when we visited the historic town of Darwen. Great friendly staff and a lively atmosphere. Very reasonabley priced menu. We only went in for lunch but stayed until night time. The cocktails were amazing.

We love their Burger Thursday. Tonight we went and tried Pie Friday. Very well presented and delicious. The best ever chunky chips. I personally would have preferred mushy peas to garden. Superb service as usual. Delicious food. Huge portions. Superb service. Fabulous.

Tried the bottomless brunch, which served great food and a good selection of drinks. Great value for money, with friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back in the New Year.

Iv been scared to come in but amazing place nice, can pee in paradise, beer garden best iv seen, amazing staff amazing people very well run place would defo recommend to anyone, glad I came in now please anyone visiting darwen visit the bank you won't regret it xx

Drinks are expensive on a Saturday night but music is good

Thursday was burger night. Very cheap burgers that are top quality. Beer was good and of high quality but a bit expensive. We go here on Thursdays quite a lot😁

Unfortunately I never tried the food ,bar staff were not interested and not very helpful, and we were basically rushed out the door so they could lock up

Not great at all went for the Thursday Burger offer, booked a table for 6:45... Got there only 2 of the 6 burgers on the menu were available, got seated in the bar area,where you couldn't even here yourselves think, right at the door on the highest uncomfiest tables and chairs... The food was average buns were burnt, chicken was grey , pigs in blanket, the sausages were still Pink... Also ordered a cocktail strawberry mojito and ended up without ice... Flat pint too Overall meal and drinks costing £35 quid... Better burgers and atmosphere at spoons up the road...

Went for evening drinks, great place

First time in here and it was a nice bar - I got halloumi fries which came with hot sauce. First time having them with hot sauce I will be honest and wasn't keen on the cocktail I had but apart from that it was nice.

Popped in whilst visiting some friends in the local area. Not knowing anything about the place. Honestly so happy I dropped in. With lovely friendly staff. Great food and brilliant cocktails (From what I remember after more than a few) All at a good price. I'd recommend dropping by for a good bite to eat and maybe a good few cocktails.

Visited only for hot drinks in the past. Nice modern and quiet (in the daytime) environment to relax with family/ friends. Service was great. Couldn't fault it. Overall... very good.

Food good drink could be more valuable service improved waiting over an hour between courses

Let me first say that the food, when it finally arrived, was very good. However, on arrival we were seated upstairs at the very top of a steep flight of stairs which have lips and are a trip hazard as I discovered. The staff apologised but did not offer to replace my drink. After a 15 minute wait to order our meals we then waited 40 minutes before we saw another member of staff, he came to ask us to move as the upper room was booked out in a short while. We were moved to a covered garden room, it was freezing only 1° outside where we then waited a further 40 minutes before our starters arrived. We were not the only party who waited over an hour for our food in the cold that night. I expected a nice evening out with friends and what I got was a long very cold wait. I don't expect to have to eat a meal wrapped in my coat but still shivering unless I've chosen an outdoor venue, which let's be honest , I wouldn't when it's been snowing .....

Very disaapointing. Burgers were barely cooked, and tasted of vinegar and were missing some of the toppings that were listed on the info. Didn't even eat most of it as it was so unpleasant. Chicken tenders were only just cooked. And the chicken burger was just sloppily put together. I was really excited to try here because of the rave reviews. And I didn't realise it closed at 9pm, but the food was ordered before then, and was accepted.

We called in a for swift drink on the way to the Station and received a lovely warm welcome from the friendly staff. They offered us a good range of beers and cocktails and showed us to a table in clean comfortable surroundings. We were so impressed we went back on the way home from our trip for another drink. Will definitely be back again to try the food.

Stopped off for a drink in the evening and the place was bouncing. Not too crowded and good music. We found there was plenty of places to sit as the seating area goes back further than expected and there's a roomy outdoor area all fully seated with cover and heaters. The music was loud at the back though and we couldn't really hear each other but there's a handy knob that lowers the volume which people didn't mind us turning it down a smidge. Staff are really pleasant and even though tabke service now isn't really required, we were well looked after. Thanks!

Went for breakfast after a number of recommendations and fair to say we were not disappointed, food was excellent and hash browns are awesome. Staff are so friendly and attentive and made our visit enjoyable. Definitely be back and compliments to the chef

Great classy little bar and restaurant in the heart of Darwen, We've visited a few times and loved it every time. The food is always very good. If I had a gripe about anything though I'd say the beer selection is a little low on options. Morrette is ok but gets a little boring.

2nd time we have ordered home delivery from here. The best food you can get in Darwen. Cajun burger is awesome as are the steaks. Highly recommend ordering food from here. Compliments to the chef.

Superb!! Greeted and seated straight away, fair priced quality drinks and simply delicious food! The garlic linguine was delicious as was the black pudding scotch egg. Staff are super attentive, never leaving you with an empty glass but equally never pushy. We'll definitely be back, and this is a great addition to the Darwen scene.
