Bar and restaurant not available because of a wedding the rooms in need of a huge makeover and if that was a double bed I'd hate to see a single. Net curtains at a window not overlooked and there were holes in them, hole in the bathroom door and just needed decorating

Beautiful looking building and grounds, but once you get inside you're met with grumpy staff, we were a very big party of people and so many of our rooms got mixed up. Rooms were OK, nothing that I'd consider negative but nothing really special. Even the bridal suite was small and cramped, however the bathroom for the bridal suite was about the same size as the actual room. I'd stay there again as maybe a couple but certainly wouldn't ever consider having a wedding there or even recommend it for a wedding.

Fabulous hotel that feels like there is nothing around you but just a very short drive from Darwen and surrounding areas. Rooms are lovely and always clean. Food is lovely and staff very friendly and professional. The manager of the hotel is always helpful and that feels like its just like his colleagues.

Beautiful hotel we enjoyed our stay felt warm and safe we only had one issue as I couldn’t get through to reception from the phone in our room trying twice 1st time no answer 2nd time was engaged needed some toilet roll as we only had one and a half rolls

I didn't stay but it was a nice place for a small wedding reception. I don't know if a Big wedding reception would fit but yeah like I said nice little place

The rooms were ok, good that it had a bath however plug was grubby. Staff when we were greeted couldn’t be bothered to smile, or have any warmth. It wasn’t very welcoming. Staff at breakfast were lovely and the only reason it went to 3 stars, suggest she train the rest of your front of house staff. My stay was Wednesday -Thursday. I also couldn’t order any food til 6pm, I’m sure not a problem for most but inconvenient for me. The key entry was frustrating because the plastic keyring was huge, made it difficult to unlock the door, I appreciate very nit picky.
