Such a wonderful little rescue, that has some adorable cats. The owners are welcoming and knowledgeable. The cats on the whole are really friendly. The cafe kindly have posters up telling you more about each cat.

This place is fantastic, not only do you get a cafe experience with lots of wonderful cats, but the money goes towards rescuing and rehoming more cats in need. The place is welcoming and all of the cats when we visited were friendly (even the timid ones eventually came to say hello). I was relieved that each cat had a new family awaiting them, as I would have been tempted to take them all home with me. I can’t wait to return in the near future for some more kitty cuddles. 🥰

Poor experience (2nd visit, and both the same) No service provided, considering it’s a cafe, owner didn’t ask if we’d like to order anything, didn’t greet us, spent most of the time sitting on laptop or falling asleep. As a rescue organisation, an introduction to who the cats were and a bit about them would have been nice. Hygiene/cleanliness of the place needs addressing too. Turned away further custom at the door “as just came off night shift” and “couldn’t fit them in” there was only 5 customers in the cafe. Compared to other cat cafes I’d rather pay the extra elsewhere and feel welcome. £5 per person to sit in a very awkward environment. Safe to say won’t be returning.

Fab place. The staff were lovely and the cats were a hoot, my kids loved it. The cats are rescued, and are for rehoming, so all for a good cause 🐱

I Went here with my boyfriend, Even know I personally don't like cats too much and my boyfriend does, I ended up enjoying it, Even got to stoke some of the lovely cats there there was quite a few of them, Overall the staff was lovey and welcoming even had a good chat with them. we ordered a few quick things from their menu too, Ended up really enjoying our selfs, would recommend to anyone that really loves cats.

The bad cat café is a lovely café with a calm atmosphere where you can go and interact with all the kitties and enjoy a cuppa as well as light bites to eat. The cats are all rescues who are well cared for until they go up for adoption. 100% would recommend a visit, the owners Roxy and Tasmin are lovely too. All ages are welcome and they also have quiet time between 3 and 5pm on a Saturday for people with autism, sensory issues and learning difficulties. I much prefer this café to some of the others I've visited in Newcastle. 5/5 stars.

Visit this pub frequently with family and live in forest hall. It’s a lovely pub and we always call in for a drink on a nice day when walking the dogs. They’re friendly and welcoming to all of us, and we always get what we want. It’s a pub, so you get what you bargain for - we normally get two pints of Stella, and large glass of wine and a fruity cider of some sort. We usually get like snacky food to share, nothing too high end. Anybody giving this pub a low rating, for honestly can’t understand why (unless they really dislike dogs). There isn’t a waiter, it’s all bar service, but it’s honestly lovely and always and the staff are always more than happy to help

Staying nearby stopped off for a swift drink, good service & clearly popular as quite busy, loved the bare stone walls, the flowery paper looked liked something from the 60’s lol
